A community to discuss Affiliate marketing (AM,) paid traffic, SEO, email marketing, and more.
READ OUR WIKI:
Welcome! You've found Reddit's awesome affiliate marketing community.
Our goal is to encourage ourselves and others to make money by selling affiliate products and tools through websites, social media, webinars, affiliates, and email marketing.
DO NOT PROMOTE YOUR PROGRAM AS A POST OUTSIDE OF THE THREAD FOR AFFILIATE OFFERS OR YOU WILL BE BANNED. uSE THE sticky thread for this.
Mash that "report" button if you feel like something doesn't contribute anything helpful. We have active mods that are working to create a helpful, spam-free environment. If you don't think something looks right, flag it!
This is our space to talk about what works, what doesn't, and what's new in the world of affiliate marketing. Topics include PPC, SEO, CPA offers, traffic generation, affiliate programs, affiliate networks, and everything related to AM.
Whether you're here to share your experiences or simply learn from others in the field, we welcome you to /r/Affiliatemarketing and look forward to your participation in the sub.
RULES All of our rules are about spam. There are many ways to spam and we hoped we have them all covered here:
Spam. Don't spam. If you are posting about John Crestini or any other coaching guru program, it is automatically considered spam. You will be immediately banned. The community has made it clear that they do not want this type of post.
Affiliate offers. No unsolicited advertising of affiliate programs. Use the sticky thread: *POST YOUR OFFER IN THE STICKY THREAD AS A COMMENT. *TAG IT WITH THE "AFFILIATE OFFER FLAIR." *MUST CONTAIN A BRIEF DESCRIPTION AND LINK BOTH TO THE INFORMATION PAGE AND THE AFFILIATE SIGN UP PAGE. *MUST BE A SPECIFIC OFFER. (NO LINKS TO THE HOMEPAGE OF CLICKBANK OR JVZOO OR SIMILAR NETWORK. MUST LINK TO A SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR OPPORTUNITY. All offers that violate this will be removed and the user banned.
Inserting links in posts and comments. *Any links not part of a larger discussion (i.e., blatant attempts to farm backlinks) will be removed as will links where we cannot tell if there is a tracking code. *Links to websites or blogs containing a sales page/sign up will be removed. *Links to "Guru's" or high priced coaching programs will be removed. (and the community will hate you;) *Links to tools must be in the sticky thread for offers. Want to recommend something as part of a discussion? Great. Use the name, not the link.
This community is intended solely for ethical online promotion techniques. That said, let's talk black hat tactics too
No babysitting posts. Wanna learn how to get started? Read, don't post.

Hi, as title says, should I get a course? Is it worth it? If yes, do yall know any real good course? I am somehow worried because there are many gurus online selling courses here and there. I am looking for a good course from someone who really knows affiliate marketing. Lemme know your thoughts about this. Tysm
It’s not like they can get u to confirm whether or not it’s yours unless the affiliate program is owned by the platform exp. Tiktok
Do they monitor the fake social and terminate your contract if you aren’t posting ads? (Probably not)
If they see you’re generating sales but not on any linked pages they’ll prolly just assume u have another social that u forgot to attach.
your aim would be to advertise our community, for each member that signs up from your advertising you will receive 20% - 50% of their membership value every month until they leave. Our commissions go up as per your performance. We are a community that focuses on crypto and investment education and helping people grow their portfolios! And have over 100 members in the community already!

After spending a century applying to 50 rakuten (affiliate network) I was notified that my account was being terminated because the web link was broken. (Because everything tiktok related seemingly never works) Then when I provided them with my insta instead they said sorry u need 500 followers and 5 posts in the last 6 months we’re still terminating you.
Is there a network that has no requirements? Even better- one with no requirements that doesn’t require u to provide a link? My preferred platform is TikTok but all tiktok links just don’t work.
I tried clickbank but I couldn’t get their website to work/not be bugged on ios or desktop.
Hello everyone! I'm stepping into affiliate marketing with hopes to eventually make it my main job. I have some extra money from my current well-paying job that I want to use to get a good start.
I’m looking for advice from those who have been successful in affiliate marketing. What are the best ways to spend my money to speed up my progress? I'm thinking about things like buying ads, hiring people to create content, or getting software that provides market insights.
I’d also appreciate any tips on good learning resources that could help me with affiliate marketing. What has worked for you? What hasn’t? What do you wish you knew when you started?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and tips!
Where do you go to check your tiktok eligibility to become a tiktok creator affiliate. Everything I see online is for sellers to find affiliates for their products but how do you actually become an affiliate? Why is this so convoluted?
I am getting strangely low amount of affiliate orders via Impact - while in the past I used to get at least weekly orders. After a while it changed to having only 1 affiliate order per 3-4 months.
The company then changed to another affiliate service: upPromote. With this service, I got again 1-2 orders per week coming in - which seemed normal.
The company changed back to Impact and I'm now back to 0 orders. Although as an affiliate we have no way to check if the links are working as they are supposed to.
What can I do in this situation? I doubt there are no orders coming in while other affiliate programs haven't had any significant drop.
It still shows clicks coming in, but less than what my own systems record going out to them.
Those extra orders make all the difference in order to pay for all the costs and being able to continue. Advice appreciated!
I'm new to affiliate marketing. I was thinking of using organic social accounts to promote courses and subscription services. I am thinking of using shorts, reels, and short-form content.
Which platform is best and worst for this, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube?
You think getting into the Digital Products niche is difficult?
Well, let’s take Udemy’s Affiliate Program, for instance.
You’ll use a platform like Reddit or Quora, get into different niche subreddits or topics, doesn’t matter what niche, it could be whatever you choose, but let’s say you go for SMMA(Social Media Marketing Agency), since it’s currently trending.
You go on Udemy, choose a free course on SMMA, just so you can have an idea on their business model. You get into the subreddit, and start giving advice for free, so people would recognize you as being someone who knows what he’s talking about.
You use your website to “centralize” the best courses for SMMA beginners, all with your affiliate links. Once you learn more on it, you can even create your own course on it and promote it via your website.
This is pretty much as simple as it gets. It doesn’t seem like much, but trust me, it works.
Be genuine, care about your audience, and the money will come. This is the best advice that I can give you based on my 4 years of experience in this field, don’t sell the product, sell the experience and the result.
As the titles, says, I am planning blog to list all freebies, deals, coupons. But not sure how to get information on deals, coupons, discounts. for a deals, freebies blog? how to use such a blog for affiliate marketing as well?

I'm interested in knowing what sites and businesses are thriving from affiliate marketing or selling ads. I'm sure there are 1000's but probably millions that make next to nothing.
What are some of the success stories? Can you share links, traffic and revenue estimates. I'm keen to learn about the solopreneurs making a decent living all the way up to the big players.
When I was young I did a little affiliate marketing in the early 2000s (I think Peerfly was just launching when I stopped) and now years later I am looking for affiliates for a D2C brand. Any suggestions on where to find solid affiliates who specialize in D2C ecom brands? Our target market is the Male 18-34 age demo.
Bit of a chicken and egg situation here; we’re in the process of building a reasonably advanced website along the lines of retail price comparison, but with some additional value adds.
We’re now in the process of needing access to retail product feeds (we’re in the UK), but the networks won’t approve our application without a live site. I understand the reasons for that, but it’s difficult to proceed without at least access to a few to build out an MVP in order generate further relationships.
Has anyone ever faced a similar situation? Any suggestions for a workaround, other than spending time building a “dummy” site and setting that “live” in the first instance?
Thanks!
As a title suggest I am a beginner who is very keen in affiliate marketing. I have read couple of articles so as to how it functions . What I actually want is a short summary and the reality of how someone like me with no particular experience and money start a blogging site via Google blogger and then shift to a paid platform like WordPress or godaddy and buy a domain later on. I want to start earning a bare minimum via Google Blogger so that I can save a considerable amount and I can end up buying a domain . Any suggestion and feedback will be helpful. I'm just a beginner who really wants to start affiliate marketing career and make it full time. Later making it an agency and generate employment in my hometown.

Hello everyone, I made about 3k in 1 month from Temu affiliate marketing by promoting on TikTok! Now problem is that my Tiktok account got banned, I don't know where to promote the links from temu what sites, i tried IG and Pinterest but it's not working!
I often see groups on Facebook that have affiliate links to deals on sites like Amazon, Walmart, Nike, etc. How do the group admins get/find all of those deals? Could someone explain the process?
I have a general question for y'all that are more experienced Affiliate Marketers.
Are there programs you're more interested in pouring resources at because the ROI is greater than most? If so, what do those ROI's look like, generally speaking?
How do y'all get paid - percentage of the sale, or traffic itself? I'm just curious as I'd like to start an affiliate program for our product and want to know how this all works.
I have a general question in exploring the possibility of Affiliate Marketing for a website / product we sell.
I understand some items may be better for Affiliates than others, but are there items that are something an Affiliate would shy away from or say there's no reason to participate in marketing? Or does it not really matter cause, as an experienced Affiliate, you can sell anything?
We have got an affiliate program running LIVE for our sporting advice company. We are currently on the lookout for new affiliates, we are currently offering 33% commission for any new referrals. If interested drop me a DM and we can go from there.
I thought this would be a good thread to open as we are wanting to help others out with opportunities, sorry if its the wrong place to post this.
I'm a merchant and need to get setup with Skimlinks. In order to do that we need to get set up with an affiliate network, they recommended CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, Awin, Shareasale, Pepperjam, Impact, Partnerize etc, a full list is here: https://advertisers.skimlinks.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408489869841-Which-affiliate-networks-does-Skimlinks-work-with
It looks like Sharasale is going to charge us a setup cost of $750 and I had to get fairly far along before figuring out the cost...any recommendations for a network with lower setup costs or is this pretty standard?
Totally new to this, thank you in advance for any insights.
Hi I run a instagram page with 400,000 followers and I promote this company called "Glitchy Digital Marketing". People click on my links but never get a conversions and I get over 13 million views each month on my Instagram page. Also their Discord they be posting photoshop pictures of people "earnings" and it seems fake but let me know your experience I'm still promoting but haven't made a single dollar.
Once you've published an article or video etc. with your affiliate links, do you have a process or tool you use to make sure your affiliate links stay healthy? As in, make sure the product you're linking to still exists and is in stock.
I have a few sites and YouTube channels with affiliate links and I struggle with this. I mainly use Amazon Associates and AliExpress parter links. It's common for products to disappear and the links to break, but I might not find out about it for ages — missing out on all the commission along the way.
I'm thinking of building a tool to help me out here since I'm a software engineer, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or uses a similar tool? Thanks!
I’m new to affiliate marketing. So far there are two affiliate programs I’m in that are for platforms I’m really passionate about, but they’re for crypto and gambling related products.
Does anyone know a good place to start to drive traffic to these? Where can I advertise?
Looking for websites like Amazon affiliates program or associates program, really wanting to stay faceless. TIA
