Fletch might be done. Boyle and Bolton out for a month...
Rough time...
At least JJ and Evans are ahead of schedule...
My wife and I plan on traveling from the US to UK in January and are likely going to attend the Stevenage home game on 28/1 (feels strange vs. saying 1/28). According to the site, the match starts at 13:45 my time, so 19:45 UK time.
Since we cannot take a train back to London that late, we plan on staying in Chester, after the match. I was curious about the train at Wrexham General, going towards Chester. Is that likely going to be extremely busy? It looks like there is a train at 22:21 between stations - but I wasn't sure how many people use that station following a game.
Is it fairly safe that late at night? I'm not too worried about it, but she is. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I’m studying abroad this semester and decided this weekend to go to London/ Wrexham. I was looking for tickets for the game at Stockport and was trying to go but every website (even the sketch ones) were sold out. Does anyone have any idea if there are more that drop day of or if I should go and buy one from a scalper or watch at the turf with a vpn. Let me know any ideas or suggestions
Thanks all
Some Starting XI knocks:
Parkinson confirmed in his post-match press conference after Saturday’s win against Mansfield Town that he will be looking to make wholesale changes to the starting XI for Tuesday night’s fixture.
And looking at the squad after Monday’s training, he said: “We’ve picked up a couple of knocks from the weekend. Andy Cannon had a bit of muscle tightness, which doesn’t look too bad but we need to monitor that as the week goes on; Elliot Lee had a virus on Friday and then worsened over the weekend so he’s not back in with us today.
We’ll have to look at him as well. James McClean has a bit of a tight hamstring so that’s another we’ll monitor ahead of the weekend.
And some confirmation of seeing some of the young players tomorrow. (emphasis added)
“It gives us an opportunity to add some youngsters to the squad. Harry Ashfield has played before, as has Aaron James, and they come into the squad. Young Josh Adam has been waiting patiently to be involved, and we also have James Rainbird, Harry Dean and Callum Edwards.
“They’re all young lads who can’t play in the FA Youth Cup the following day – we’ve left Nick Chadwick his squad together because that’s an important game for the Club – but equally we’ve got those six players in the first-team squad tomorrow and it will be good to get as many of them as possible some involvement.
“We’ve done that before in cup competitions and as Harry Ash showed in the last game, it’s these opportunities when we’ve got a chance to see players and see if they can become important for us – making the squad that little bit stronger.”
Should be a fun game for the nerds who follow the young players. I don't know if we have ever see Dean, and I know we have never seen Adam.

Obviously I watch all the Wrexham matches but I also turn on any good premiere league matchups that come on. I was wondering from a UK perspective do the majority of you all prefer little or even no commentary during matches?
Example: in US sports at all levels there is pretty much talking going on during the entire game. The biggest difference i have seen is commentators tell the story of the players, how they grew up, what they have been through, obstacles they have overcome. They really focus a lot more on giving a glimpse into individual players. Now it isn’t constant but there is usually a few different points in a game that they focus on specific players and give background.
I am assuming that if this style was translated from America to the EFL/Premiere League that you all would not like it at all.
Idk just wanting to learn a bit more of the cultural differences in watching sport between us.
In today's writeup, Sutty said the following:
Starting with Saturday’s triumph over Mansfield, the next 11 League One matches featuring Parkinson’s side will be shown live on the opposite side of the Atlantic. This is up to and including the January 4 clash with Peterborough United.
With the previous two rounds of TV picks also having seen all Wrexham matches selected, this means 25 out of 25 league matches will have been shown on CBS channels by the time the FA Cup third round comes round.
Hey all. Anybodybrlse trying to watch the match on Paramount+? The stream hasn't started yet. Half hour in now?
Hey guys,
As we all know sometimes life gets in the way and you find yourself unable to watch Wrexham play live. This is one of those days. I normally watch the match via Wrexhams website using a vpn and an international membership.
Is there any place i can watch today's match later?
Thank for your help

So living in Canada, usually the Wrexham games come on at 10 AM which is a good time for me on Saturday. I watch Wrexham and then I watch NCAA college football (North American football) and it’s a relaxing day. Saturday is also my wife’s day off. And like any wife she had a big honeydew list for me She wanted done on Saturday.
I told her look I’m not missing the game, it’s going to be an exciting match for Wrexham. If you want me to help you with all that stuff, we need to get up early at 7 AM to get it out-of-the-way. I don’t care if you want to sleep in.
Well, now the game is 20 minutes away starting at 7:30 AM here because I had no idea it was starting at that time… And I’m about to tell my wife who is in the other room getting ready to grumpily start doing all these tasks that I told her we need to get up early to do, “Hey babe… uhmmm… I got the time wrong on the match… Maybe could you go back to bed until 10 AM and we can do all that stuff after the match?”
So if in a couple hours, if you guys hear of a murder in Canada and the victim was wearing a Wrexham jersey, you’ll know it’s me.
Let’s go Wrexham!
Thankfully I've managed to snag match day tickets on 23rd November, my partner and I are really excited to come visit Wrexham.
I haven't been back to Wrexham since I was a child, I was hoping to get some recommendations from locals or any fans from the UK or abroad. Looking for anything really, nice cafes, which pubs we should try and visit, museums, nice walks.. anything you can think of!

They said that expansion to America and Canada would necessitate a new brewery. Has anyone in and around the town heard more about this or is it just speculation? I am also hoping that if this is true, that they are looking to build that new larger brewery in town? I hope this is the case cause it will increase job prospects for the town.
Hello My wife and I are in UK from Mexico for two more days. Does anyone have extra tickets or tickets they’re no longer using we can buy for tomorrow’s game against Mansfield? We would love to attend a game we are huge fans from Mexico and would love to cheer them on from anywhere in the stadium. We know chances are low but we have to try.
