It's been about 10 or 11 months since I last played and decided to get back into it, but I'm having server issues where my game just will not connect or stay connected so I can't go into a game without it disconnecting at the end giving me a penalty. I'm trying some youtube and reddit stuff but if you guys have any recent solutions I'd be happy to hear them.

So I am playing through the American mediums right now. I love the tier 7 and agree no changes need to be made to it.

Looking at the patch notes, it appears they are improving the accuracy on the Pershing, but nerfing it's dpm (correct me if I'm misreading that). That makes no sense to me. The Pershing's problem isn't accuracy and it certainly doesn't have too good of dpm (as its the only good thing about the tank in my experience), the problem is the alpha and pen, both of which need to be buffed in my opinion. Would love to see alpha buffed to 280 like the 59 Patton is getting. And maybe 10 to 15 mil of pen to both rounds.

Looking at the M46 Patton, they're buffing the accuracy and dispersion as well. Honestly, this also doesn't make sense to me. The gun (while on paper super inaccurate) is a total laser after playing it for 25 games with bounty rammer, stabs, and aiming (no food). There are two problems with the M46 in my view, one of which is a MASSIVE issue and that is the god awful standard pen of 218 (I could be a bit off, I only fire standard at scorpion g and the like as well as for blind shots because it's so bad) and the prem pen of 265 (falling to 221 at range). The only buff this tank really needed was to add 40 mil of pen to standard and prem amo (for the prem rounds thats still quite bad for tier 9, but at least youd have a shot of going through an E100s lower plate then). A touch more turret armor would be much appreciated as well, but not strictly necessary in my view. Even still, I am much enjoying this tank and it is a clear step up from the Pershing to me.

Haven't unlocked the M48 yet so can't say anything about that tank now and if the tiny buffs will help, though the improved speed of course will be much appreciated.

Would love to get your takes on this, if you agree with my view or have a different take.

I logged into twitch to start progress on the final weekend to claim Summer Vibes drops, but for some reason I got progress on "Ukraine Independence Day". When attempting to start progress on another channel that has summer vibes drops, the summer vibe drop progress doesn't begin. Questions-

1. does anyone else have this problem or has had it in the past?
2. Will I be able to start the summer vibes drop once finishing this ukraine thing or am I just screwed on that?
3. is there any way at all to reset this? I don't care about the ukraine drop and just want the tokens.

I play every day when i get home from work, divorced 40 something that has been a gaming addict since the NES.

experience... Played clan matches with Wallet Warrior wayyyy back when, we mapped SIMP which at the time sucked, turns out they rocked it hard after, watched them on tv actually!

My forte are TD's which i have nice ones... and LT's are my jam too.. i have the TVP 50/51 and i can devistate with that sucker too...

since some days i have a problem with hanging game for 1 to 3 sec if i hit Tab or strg to ping on the map.

I did not read anything about this problem so i was searching for problems on my side.

What i did

• Deleted all mods

• Install new gfx driver

• uninstall and reinstall the game.

• Stoped all other programes that are runing usualy in the backgrond.

nothing did help. is there anything i could try?

Hey folks, what does the British light tank tree promise? What I mean is, for example, the French light tank tree stands out with its tanks with automatic loaders. What features does the British light tank tree offer? Is it worth the hassle just for the manticore?

I had a break (about 2-3 years) from wot and game feels really different. Lights are gods at mid-game, recently started with them. Before, pure medium player with soviets. CVS and camo are huge things nowadays. I kind of like it.. too bad maps are getting more and more linear.

How do you feel? Borrasque is insane in tier8 with scouting equipment and players usually don’t carry min-max tanks!

I play basically everything so you can tell your least favorite. Which T7, T8 and T9 tanks you can think of are the absolute most pain in the ass to chew through? So I can skip a big portion of the grind.

Why do people continue to give these virus cancer company more and more money, For the last 10 + years all these trash done was virtually Steal money from players for complete trash, People who played over 10 years could have spent anywhere from €500 - €X000s to these complete scum to have what? an account thats worth ? Fucking NOTHING in reality. It shows the pathetic stupidity of people, spending money to make SCUM thieves rich, if if was a SCAMER you would be mad, but because Wargaming essentially steal your money this way you dont care? At least Scammers have morals.

I notice tanks like EBR and Mars are disproportionately abundant in this mode. Like Mars is literally the bottom 16th in usage among tier 8 premium tanks, in a list that has 132 tanks. Yet they are common in Frontline.

And they're not just common either, else I wouldn't have bothered. They are, well, behaving like... "players" that I would kick from clan

It's one thing if you're a new player, but here they are obviously old players with access to old tanks or have heaps of economy to access the newer tanks, which makes me raise an eyebrow.

Which leads us to the second point: Even on reddit there are threads on how Frontline is filled with meta tanks that the newer players do not have access to. And dying in Frontline is painful and makes the gamemode a waste of time. So it is rational for new players to avoid this gamemode entirely resulting in the disproportionate quantity of Mars.

So here is suggestion to make Frontline more accessible to newer players:

1. Unlimited respawns. Not the first time this has been suggested. And probably won't be the last.

2. Open up the gamemode to tier 7 tanks. Nothing is changed for players who want to use tier 8 all the way. But you now have the option to enter and respawn in tier 7 tanks if you want. This is to cater for people with limited number of tier 8 tanks.

For an added twisted you can make unlimited respawns for tier 7 tanks only, so pushing and resetting is still limited by the respawning of tier 8 tanks.

I currently have the Leopard 1, S.Conq, and Obj. 140. What Tier X would you recommend me to get next?

I'm thinking about buying that Tier 8 HT in the title. I already have Tiger 2 from the tech tree and the Renegade premium tank as Tier 8 HT. I love them both, they are both excellent imho. Now I'm a bit frustrated by the Alpha damage these 2 have and 50TP prototype seems to be a good choice with 440 average damage. Maybe should I wait/choose another tank?

Slowly august ends, and zero news about the summer campaign… the thing I enjoy the most and it wont happen it seems like.

Hi! In January 2024 I came back to WoT after few year off. I played casually in 2012-2020. I started with new account as I sold the old one and now I caught up with what's going on recently, but I got a few questions regarding changes in previous years and current status of the game.

1. What exactly happened in WoT in Feb 2022? I see that now RU is owned by different company, which is making significant deviations from WG does on EU / NA. I wonder how the whole process went, what were the time frames etc.

2. I can see that WG stopped selling "OP-ish" tanks, at least not so often. Is there a reasonable chance to expect that BZ-176, EBR 75, E25 and PZ II J would be possible to purchase? I haven't seen them on sale in 2024.

2b. What are other vehicles, that are no longer put on sale for sale for similar reasons? I hope 105 leFH18B is one of those too.

2c. Is there a website that track when tank was for sale for the last time?

3. Do you max out each Front Line ans Steel Hunter? I feel so feed up with those, but I feel need to complete them each time, so I can farm bond for tier Xs from bond store.

4. Do you think marking T49 with derp would be fun or pain in the ***? I wonder what could be bigger issue with this idea: very variable damage or simply bad camo value and lack of armor.

5. What is your favourite website to track your stats? My favourite one was wotlabs.net, but nowadays most of the time it's down. Now I use tomato.gg, but the feature I miss is to sort my tanks by both, tier and MOE in a way that marked tanks of the highest tier would be on the top.

5b. I don't remember how was it called, but there used to be a website, where you could upload some file from your PC that contained very detailed profile's data. For example you could check there how many specific vehicles you destroyed (including non-tech tree vehicles), sort your tanks by top frags etc. For example you could check how many KV-1s or IS-3s you destroyed.

6. I feel that MOE expected values rise during top of the tree. I would expect to be otherwise, as majority of players is average, so it should lower down the overall expected values as more bad results are added in constantly. Is it universal experience or was I just unlucky so far? I track expected values at Skill4ltu's index page. So far majority values there were accurate for me.

7. Does mm work good on very low tiers (I-II)? Are those battles full of seal clubbers or is it playable? I'm so annoyed with low tier tanks in my expert medal blocking my overview of higher tiers tanks yet to be destroyed. I have two rules on my account: every tank I play has to have Master Ace and I have to mark tank before I go to a higher tier. I don't want to get stuck with tier I or II tank for a week or so. Do you have any recommendations how to get through that in least painful way?

8. What's current tactic for high tier arty players? You got ammo more or less 50/50? Or one type of ammo is more preferable than the other?

Anyone know why all of a sudden I'm being put in with the best players in the world apparently I'm quite new to the game but most of the time I'm not even getting a shot off and 6 tanks are firing on me and this is me trying to hid 🤦‍♂️

Does anyone see these in the garage? Because.... I don't!?!? And I think they should be accessible?
