I’ve worked for WB for three years. Year one was a delight working with great managers and coworkers, but its gone downhill in the two years. I’m happier than I’ve been in the two of the three years I’ve worked here. I’m actually smiling! There’s a pay cut coming from my new job but oh my god the place is much more well run!
My husband was promoted to assistant manager last week and given a website to log into to enroll in benefits. He hasn't been able to get access to them and HR won't email him back! Does he only have 30 days to enroll himself and me as a spouse for health coverage?
To the TL that got cussed out and yelled at over missing ketchup, I hope things get better for you on your shift. There was a customer that we saw walk in, mask for a manager and the kids got this girl TL. It was a quick interaction, we heard her go "I am so sorry about that" and went to the back and gave this dude his condiments, didnt even argue. She was our server and she was really sweet over all. He then said come here and listen because you're acting like a bi+++ and an a hole about my ketchup that I payed for. I drove 20mins for my f-ing ketchup you bi--- and all youre going to say is im sorry???. And she asked "how can I make your experience better sir??" And he proceeded to ask for a REAL manager. All the guys in her crew went up there and this POS definitely changed his tone when the guys showed up and when male manager showed up he never said one cuss word to him.... To this female TL I'm sorry for that. He only yelled at you to intimated you or some power trip. You stood your ground, didn't get upset, and apologized and you listened as this guy cussed you out in front of a lobby of people. You were so calm about it and gave him what he wanted. As a former manager myself you did great. I'm so sorry for mean, rude, angry people about something as little as ketchup (people get shot over ketchup) I hope you don't quit, I hope your day got better. I hope your OP knows that you tried your best. Please don't be mean to these people. Mistakes happen, she wasn't even the one who forgot the ketchup. Please be nice to food service workers because that was sad to watch a grown man scream at this girl who was doing her best.
I work at a Whataburger in Pleasanton and I hate how cold it is in those darn freezers and would appreciate somebody's help on how to get ahold of one of the black employee jackets so I don't have to worry about those cold trips into that freezer.
Is the bacon cooked right next to the burgers and does it get mixed up?
So yesterday was my first day at whataburger. I watched videos and worked for 1 hour making burgers. A manger was helping me. Everything was abbriviated on the screen. Like for example, instead of "whataburger", It's WB. I understand some abbreviations but alot of them i dont understand. Like SHBSC(i might have the abbr. a bit wrong) is a burrito???? Do anyone know all the abbriviations for the sandwhiches and breakfast and can send it to me??? I cant find it on the internet
So i ordered in the app like i do everytime i travel early in the morning and they say oh our truck hasn't come in so we dont have ANY of our breakfast items and you'll need to cancel through the app , HOW ? there's no place to freaking cancel this shit i paid 20 dollars and i still have to go get breakfast somewhere else what a shit way to start my morning
This was originally going to be a much longer post (have a lot to get off of my chest about this fast food chain), but I’ll keep it short.
I’ve been a lifelong whataburger customer, raised on tacquitos, monterey melts, and chop house cheddar burgers.
Whether it’s correlation or causation, the quality in every aspect of the restaurant has plummeted since the Chicago purchase:
I understand my individual efforts to boycott Whataburger is as effective as pissing in the ocean, but I can no longer financially support a business that does not give two shits about the customer’s opinion.
The way I see it, no matter how far the quality drops, suckers keep coming back for more. I don’t know if it’s for the nostalgia, but it’s certainly not because people think Whataburger is trending in the right direction.
Whatever the case may be, I’ve decided to no longer dine with Whataburger. I’ve been a lifelong fan who 10 years ago would’ve sold his soul for free Whata. It is no longer worth it to me to give them my business. I can only hope more people will take this up and hopefully the bottom line starts to wake up Whata executives.
Edit: TLDR: Whata quality is terrible post-Chicago and I’ve decided to not eat there anymore
Edit 2: I said I would keep it short and miserably failed. Apologies.
I wasn't told about it . They told me they will give me the shirt but they haven't given out the shirt.
My weekend ritual! If you don’t like the pic or Whataburger then why are you here! I love this place I live I love this food. That’s my choice! Now let’s move on. BOB w/ extra sausage! I love a good morning sausage!
I would eat at McDonald's, BK, Wendy's, Whataburger or Jack in the Box a lot if they had a Falafel Burger in their menu!
I just checked my offers and this showed up. It's already expired!
I have a question about the fast food labor market in Texas. What I hear about Whataburger is that they aren’t able to hire enough staff. “People just don’t want to work anymore,” is often said when we’re wondering why it’s taking thirty minutes for a hamburger.
Why doesn’t In n Out have this problem?
Don’t have one close to me so when I arrived at DFW airport best believe I made it my mission to get some Whataburger! My flight was as at gate A and this was at gate D. Best believe I made the trip to gate D to get mine 😂
Just like the title what happened to the spicy chicken sandwich? I tried the new honey hot or whatever it was didn't like it. Wasn't coated I sauce completely. I want my spicy sandwich back!!
Only other 24 hour thing we had in town was Taco Bell (fucking tired of that shit). And the other Whataburgers were about 45-60 mins away in each direction.
It's been packed literally 24/7 since it's opening. Shout out to the workers.
So happy we finally got one in this small Oklahoma city. Being from Dallas, I'm used to having one 10 mins away no matter where I was.
I currently live in Greensboro, NC and nine months ago it was announced that Whataburger would be opening locations in North Carolina. One of the cities listed was Greensboro were supposedly plans for two locations. I wanted to know if anyone here could provide an update on when one of these locations or any other NC location will open its doors. I’m looking forward to trying Whataburger for the first time.
I just went to a whataburger in mesquite tx today. The price for a number one is now 9.99 and the medium fry container was different and seemed smaller.
Is the smaller fry a universal thing or franchise thing?
