A sub dedicated to countering the narrative that Democrats are do-nothings.

What you should post here is informational text and infographics about things that prominent and not-prominent Democrats have done throughout their career. We actually prefer a graphical format because it makes the content easier to spread beyond this sub.

Things that you should post:

  1. Examples of Democrats sponsoring legislation. (Emphasis on stuff that actually had a chance of passing, not pie in the sky fantasies.)
  2. Examples of Democrats passing legislation.
  3. Examples of administrative and executive policies implemented by Democratic Presidents.
  4. Examples of Democrats bringing about tangible change.

What will get you banned: 1. Shitposters and trolls will be kicked to the curb. Don't test us. We don't care about your concern trolling and emotional manipulation. So don't try to work the refs. We don't owe you a hearing in court. 2. Keep divisive commentary to a minimum. This isn't meant to be a circlejerk, and there's such a thing as valid strategy talk and criticism, but constantly belittling Democrats under the guise of discussion will get you banned.

What not to post: 1. Simply calling for something in a speech does not count as a tangible positive act. Words are cheap. Inspiring others is cheap. Taking that same concept and writing it up as a law or somehow bringing it about with direct action is the bare minimum for something to be posted here.

"Texas Democrats are walking out to deny Republicans a quorum, which will prevent the passage of their elections bill, the trans bill, their bail bill, and everything else. They will have to leave the state for weeks. The last time they did this was in 2003."
