Her latest posts on Instagram and TikTok are from January. I tried to look up for any news, but since I don't speak Vietnamese, I couldn't find any interesting information. So I'd like to know if you guys know anything.
I know ... a year old but worthy to bring attention to catchy collab between Thuy and Min.
What's preventing popular VPop stars from touring in the US? Obviously, they likely won't be able to sell out a big venue but there must be interest? Performers like Min, Suni Ha, Bich Phuong, Grey D, Mai Huong, etc. should attract a sizable crowd. Especially if they tour together.
I was car pooling with a Vietnamese friend and he was listening to a random YouTube playlist. I believe the song had rap and violins(edit:or a similar stringed instrument) were one of the instruments. I’m not sure if this will help, but “yêu anh đi mẹ anh bán bánh mì” was one of the songs in the playlist. My friend doesn’t remember it. Not really expecting anything, but any help would be great. Thanks.
Salutations, everyone. I noticed some months ago this subreddit had been banned due to a lack of moderation, which I felt was a great shame given the K-pop, J-pop, etc. activity on this site. Thus, I requested moderation over this subreddit to be reopened. Are there any previous users of this subreddit present now? Any questions, comments, concerns?
Hi all! I need help finding the remix version of a vpop song from a few years ago. I remember it’s main chorus was “just wanna say goodbye.” I think the original song is “Just wanna say goodbye” by Robert Van Dam ( youtube.com/watch?v=oB0F3DTGi2w ), but I can’t find any other music videos, or even information about the artist! Please help

Hey everyone, I'm looking for the name of the song from this Instagram reel.

Unfortunately Shazaam isn't able to find it, so maybe it's a remix or something?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
The song repeats what sounds like 'melody melody melody melody' and then something like 'kokoro kokoro kokoro kokoro". Of course, these aren't the actual lyrics but it sounds like that.
Here's a link to a recording of me humming the song, please take a listen to get an idea of what the song sounds like:
I'm pretty sure it's by a male group (though it could be a male solo artist). It's overall a light pop song that's catchy and something you can dance to.
I'm nearly certain the song is from before 2022 because I heard the song from the background of a stream and that was in either 2020 or 2021. It's likely from 2017-2020. My guess is that the earliest would be 2014 (just a guess though).
Does anyone know this song?
One of the few Viet songs i liked growing up, dunno if it originated or just featured in Paris by night (my dad has a cd that had like an Eng ver of it, not sure how direct the translyrics were or if it was rly published online or fanmade but the english lyrics were kinda generic like "deep in my heart/stay with me forever" so searching the lyrics didn't help)
I know that it's a love song at least and had like "heart/heatbeat" in the lyrics

Apologies for the bad humming lol
Hello fellow Vpop fans~~~
I'm so happy I found this sub-reddit. I wasn't sure if one existed since Vpop is still rather unknown/niche. But I'm glad I found my way here. Often it feels like I'm the only one who listens to Vpop and wants to talk about it. I'm excited to share my thoughts and questions here from now on ^^
Also, I wanted to share with you, I actually make Vpop lyrics videos with English translations. There aren't that many videos yet since I stopped during the pandemic but recently I've picked it up again, so hopefully there will be many more videos in the future.
My channel is called Vpop-ish. I'd be really happy if you'd check it out.
PS: I wasn't sure if this type of (self-)promotion is allowed here. I'm still new to Reddit and I didn't see any rules or guidelines. If it's not okay, then I'll take this post down of course. I just wanted to share my enthusiasm for Vpop haha.
Is there somewhere or someone that keeps track of Vpop releases weekly or something like that? I would occasional come across things on my release radar on Spotify but it’s not always reliable.
Hey y'all, it's the holiday weekend in Vietnam. I don't know what to do to celebrate so I decide to kickstart the weekend with some playlist(s)/mix(es) I made so far.
V-rap: https://youtu.be/pfWI2nx4kFo
Vinahouse/v-dance/club, etc: https://youtu.be/X0mLALBtPU4 (first time I really mix songs)
If you have some suggestion on what other genres/mood from Vietnamese music that you want me to do, feel free to do so, either reply under this post or comment on the playlist/mix. Hope you enjoy!
Somg I heard my dad play when i was like 6 or 8 on his CDs (he was like 39-40 back then). It was like Vietnamese pop and then it switched to like gangster rap in broken English. It might’ve been talking about chains or something.
Hey all, does anyone have any sites or suggestions to find V-Pop concerts in the UK?
I’m constantly looking but can’t see that many come here :(
Hi y'all, this is my first post here. I've just made a playlist of vpop hits in 2023 so far so please give it a listen and don't forget to like, subscribe to my channel, and comment what genre you want me to do next. Thank you!
It was a dark music video with lots of blue light, the singer was a woman with a deep voice, akin to Tony Braxton low. If anyone knows it'd be a great help, thanks!
Hello, good morning! I am hoping someone can help me find a music video I saw around 2020-2021. It was an upbeat song with a male singer. The video was about a bunch of school friends coming back together to have fun as adults. The most iconic part was a dance at the end where everyone was in these full-body patterned suits with masks. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
