"What the hell are you doing? Those tranq darts are from the 70s. If it doesn't kill the guard he's gonna wake up any minute now- feelin' groovy!"
Lots of jokes have to come back around for the full effect but there are a ton of zingers. I'll set the bar low.
Thought of this over the Thanksgiving weekend. I went through some internal debates on Man vs God (would it be the grand inquisitor, the alien using Jonas’s appearance, Killinger, the Investors?) but finally with went with Jonas Venture, feeling there’s a god complex around him. Anyway, I know there could have been more suitable options. Definitely fun to put together 😁

Haven’t come out as well as I’d hoped but they’re still extra great
Context: “Alleged” gangland criminal Gerry “The Monk” Hutch stands for election in inner city Dublin, Ireland. Almost got elected, ended up at the count centre.
As we all know Venture Bros. is heavily layered with jokes and references. Something I never really got was why does General Manhowers pop up again at the end of The Doctor is Sin to tell us all we can read more about it in the Bible. The moment is funny enough on it’s own but I always felt like there was another joke here I don’t understand.
I just noticed Trump in the background at Wide Wale’s party for his daughter’s B Day.
In assainnnay 911 Brock states that Gathers is the second closest thing he ever had as a father. Who is the closest thing
Not like the obvious ones like “spanakopita” or “ignore me.” I’m looking for your deep cut references that you use in real life.
For me it’s “I had a total Cray-Pas situation up there. Took me a while to lock it down.” any time I’m in the bathroom for more than a few minutes.
I'm on the right 😊
Ok, plz tell me if I’m wrong. Wasn’t there an original version of the carfax fox that was a lady fox that Billy is referring to? I swear that was a thing but I can’t find any evidence of it. Is he just drunk and mixing things up, or am I crazy?
