I've spent a while digging through old posts on this subreddit looking for some good proctor and lights for my room. Most of the posts tho are a year or 2 old and even then there wasn't a whole lot of suggestions. A couple years back I spent a solid 7 or 8 hours just digging through different brand trying to find videos and reviews and everything because there is such a huge difference in quality. You can pay 80$ and you get shipped a bootsy 5$ price of junk from China but there are some decent ones on the market...
What are some decent projectors available right now? Did you buy one and love it or do you wish you would have went with (option B) instead?
I plan to get a somewhat nice one for my room but would also like to get a more modest priced one for the kids in the living room (below 40$)
P.s. I am planning on buying LED strips for my bed and roof around the house do you have any suggestions for where or which ones to go with? Thank you all!!!
I plugged the wrong PSU into the one on the right and the lights pulsed on and off and then POP there was a plastic smell, a rattle inside the light, and the nebula is now broken. rip
I would have hoped that the device would not accept more power than it can handle but maybe that is a USB-C era standard, not sure, but I’ve broken Bliss 1.0, Bliss 2.0, and Bliss Arc like this because I’m disorganized and have a lot of electronics… but trial by error is consequential with these. Just be careful
i got the rossetta galaxy projector but its constantly glaring into my eyes whenever i go to turn in my room and i dont have a high enough shelf to put it above head level so im looking for a new projector that doesnt have that stupid blinding orb
Had a friend who had one, yet he does not remember where he got it. Had a beautiful water like effect and I'm having a hard time finding it myself. Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction.
Please share yours if you have lots of plants/grow lights around! I need as much inspiration as I can get to incorporate my greenery with my light vibe and not kill anything in the process. Tips & tricks are welcome, too. Thanks!!
Hi there,
I’m considering buying someone the hyperspace cube. It’s pretty pricey, so I was looking at the nano. But, is the nano too small to be worth that much money? Considering going up to the 10” but then I’ll have to ditch the projector I was going to pair with it.
Alternatively, is there an equally good one out there for less? There are some for about $30 on Amazon but just from the pictures, I wasn’t impressed, but it’s hard to see on a screen what it’ll look like.
Considering pairing it with the govee projector or the bliss one.
Thanks!
I'm doing a big piece of artwork on the wall in paint that will flouresce under blacklight, but I need to seal it because the walls are gonna get touched a lot and I need to protect the artwork, also probably going to have to seal inbetween layers of paint. I have like 80m² to cover. I can't find any clear matt varnishes, laquers or sealants, the kind that comes in tins that you paint or spray on with a spray gun, that aren't advertised as "UV-blocking". I guess they want to appeal to a market that doesn't want whatever they're varnishing to discolour in sunlight. But I need something that will definately let blacklight UV go through. Anyone got any experience with this or know what I could use?
So I've really taken the black light vibe seriously in my room and I've especially liked to conceal them so that they only make objects fluoresce without people seeing the bulb itself. I was at Walmart today and happened to see these bulbs on clearance for $3 so I grabbed a few and figured hey why not? I know that these are marketed for a bug zapper but are there any fixtures at all that would use these bulbs? I could mount it underneath a desk or behind a TV
