Hello, I run a small YouTube channel (Forgotten Cemeteries of the PNW) dedicated to Oregon cemetery history and Oregon pioneers plus their stories. I've been trying to find info on Dolph Cemetery but not much out there. I was wondering if anyone out there heard of it, came across it, heard a rumor of its location? It's quite elusive. One description says "abandoned to nature, in Dolph"....so yeah a tough one. Thanks for any advice!
I’m planning a trip for the very beginning of January, I was wondering if the locals in town might have recommendations on unique or cozy places to stay?
It doesn’t have to be right on the coast, as long as it’s within a 30 minute drive of Tillamook.
I’d also like to find a place that has good parking, nothing too off road. Close to rockhounding areas would be preferable.
Bath tubs, great views and cookware are a huge plus but not required.
My budget is more in the mid range, but realistically I’d like to spend less than $500 for a 2-3 night stay.
Thanks in advance!

Hi folks,
I live in WA and got a speeding citation in OR/Tillamook while traveling. I have made the payment on https://client.pointandpay.net/web/TillamookCountyJusticeCourt Is that all that is needed? Is there a digital 'plea of no contest' or something else that i need to do? Is there a way to check the status of payment/fine etc?
Any help is greatly appreciated
Daughter lives in Tillamook and needs a GC for repairing rot damage around a window. I managed to get a Beaverton local lined up to take a look but I hope she can find someone local that does quality work.
Are there any ABA Therapy providers in the Tillamook or surrounding area? Thx
Hey all. Thinking on moving here for work, with a plot of land in my Rader for a reasonable budget.
Any places I should explore and see what it's about?
Any towns nearby that would be more worth it to live in (within a 30 minute drive)
Coming from Bozeman, MT.
Great job pud on restoring the power over the last week al ot of work to get folks power back online and lot of people in the dark
thanks again
I hope this is allowed here, but if not, feel free to delete.
I have a favor to ask. My parents love the summer sausage and Jerky from Debbie D's in Tillamook. They moved to North Carolina earlier this year, and I know my dad has been missing it I planned to make a trip to Tillamook before Christmas to pick some up for him, but I didn't quite have time to make the drive.
Would anyone here be willing/able to pick up some Debbie D's and send it to me in Portland? I will send you money to cover the cost of the food and shipping, as well as something extra for your time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and happy holidays!
A very long time ago (like 10 years) me and my mom found this place just outside of town, kind of towards the ocean side of town. It was kind of this pub style eatery, and they had the best general tso's (in this case, in the form of chicken wings as an appetizer, if I'm remembering correctly) I've ever had, even if it was a touch on the spicy side. I then went back 4 or 5 years later with a friend, had some more and he confirmed that they were goddamned delicious.
I don't remember the name or much about the place other than it was a primarily brown colored building, kind of modern architecture, it had a patio and mostly a wood motif. I seem to recall getting there was taking a right at the first main intersection south of the cheese factory and driving for about 10 minutes.
I've looked on all the usual suspects, TripAdvisor, yelp and so on - and haven't found it yet. So I thought I'd turn to the locals, if this sounds familiar to anyone. I'll be through town here in the next couple of weeks and would love to stop if they're still there.
Tillamook was particularly fragrant yesterday afternoon with the smell of money. I was walking into Fred Meyer when a women walking out opened the door, turned to me and asked loudly “What’s that smell?” “Cows” I answered. She looked puzzled. “Cow residue” I clarified. The look on her face was priceless!
We are vacationing there this weekend, are there any good runs? If so when and where
that's all.
What's the best place around for kayak rentals? My family and I are visiting in late August and would love to rent kayaks as part of the trip. We're not wanting to be out in the ocean, just a lake or gentle river (we're beginners). We're willing to drive a bit if needed. Also, at least one person involved is plus size (280+ lbs) so we need that to be accommodated. Thanks!
