I everyone did a good job at well “being insane” the costumes were nice and the fog machine helped with the spooky vibe. I was genuinely startled by the guy in the locker banging in the beginning. I kept looking back and saw him walking behind me and my group. Very spooky very well made, good job to the people to worked on it
The football game that got called of was crazy, even the referee was shouting slurs. My brother goes to that school and he is praised as like “very nice and respectful” he just doesn’t talk much. That just shows how many people in that school are you know “coo coo crazy”
The ice cream and cheese sucks, but what the hell is pumped into the water there?? I realize this is everywhere. But dang, people sure are immature and dumb in some towns.
Was at the school for granddaughter volleyball on Sept 11 and noticed a light fixture guard hanging by one side and could fall. Called the school district the next day and reported it. "That sound dangerous." Was at another game there last night, still hanging. Guess they really don't care about safety of the anyone in the gym. Hope a local can put some pressure on the district.
Just went in today and I’m glad to say is great. Honestly I’m glad that we finally have quality pizza.
Are there any running clubs in Tillamook or any other sort of clubs adults can join such as hiking, kayaking anything outdoor/ workout related. All I've been able to find is geared towards youth. The one gym here is stupid expensive for what they offer so I am looking for something else.
Came from Bend with my wife for our anniversary trip and we have plans to camp at Cape Lookout on Thursday for one night as we pass through. I packed all of our camping stuff.. except the tent. This would be a huge save if someone is willing to help us out!
If you're like me (and who isn't?), you often think to yourself, "I've always wanted to spend New Year's Eve in Garibaldi, but are there even any games there?" If that describes you (and I think we both know that it does), then this is your lucky day! Check out www.gamesquall.com and get ready to join the fun!
Hi guys! I know this isn’t a subreddit for the cheese, but I don’t know where else to ask for help. My girlfriend and I were driving through yesterday and stopped at the Tillamook Creamery. She’s been obsessed with their cheese for years. She got the pin with the yellow Tillamook van on it from the gift shop. Unfortunately, it must’ve fallen out of her pocket during a rest stop. She’s so sad. I tried their website but it’s not on the online shop and tried calling. Is there anyone who would be willing to buy one and mail it to me?? Obviously I’ll pay for it all. Thanks for reading!
I was just in downtown Tillamook and saw tons of emergency response vehicles drive by, anyone know what happened?
Hi, all!
I recently moved to Tillamook County (living in Netarts, working in Garabaldi) and I'm an enthusiastic gamer (of the board/rpg variety). We don't seem to have a game store closer than Lincoln City, and so far I haven't found a local game community to hook into.
If you're a gamer (or just game-curious) in Tillamook County (or, I suppose, somewhere further away and you don't mind a drive), let me know! I'd like to either get into the existing games community or, if there isn't one yet, start putting some events together to plant the seeds for one to grow!
I'm exploring a possible move to Tillamook. I've got some breathing issues - can't handle poor air quality. Do the dairy farms pollute the air much? I know about the forest fires, and there's not much can be done except leave for awhile.
Does the whole town smell like cow poop all the time? Thanks.
I lived in Tillamoom many moons ago and recently drove through on a trip up the coast. There are corn fields everywhere we looked! I'm curious what has happened to drive this change? Where are all of the cows?
I'm broke, I can't afford 10$ to park for an hour at the river here in Tillamook, is there any place to pull over and get to the river for free? Any of them are fine, I just want to look at rocks.
39yr old male My car is broke down and I need a ride home to the Coast more specifically Tillamook area. Is anyone going that way tonight!??
Is the commute doable on a daily basis?
Going to Rockaway for the weekend wondering what kinds of fun’s thing are available with a dog
In your experience, what's the cell carrier with the best coverage in and around Tillamook County? Specifically, it looks like I'll soon be working in Garibaldi and living in Netarts, and I'm suspicious that my current carrier (Google Fi) is going to prove sub-optimal.
Missed the bus so I'm here for the night. What's the best bar in town?
New to area, moving to Rockaway Beach soon. I like to spend whole days alone on a road bike, carrying minimal gear and making few stops, anywhere from 20 to 100 miles a day. I know 101 is unavoidable, but are there other good routes to look at? Does the attached route look safe and reasonable? Begins and ends in RB, doesn't seem to have many steep or long climbs, though I don't know if I trust the mapping program I used.
I’m thinking of heading to Tillamook from Hillsboro to avoid all the fireworks that drive my dog crazy during the 4th of July. Also, the Tillamook area is pretty cool to visit.
Is it quiet (er) there? Can I hang out at beaches until 10PM?
Will there be a big fireworks show there?
Hello, I mistakenly booked an Airbnb during a road trip in mid-july that doesn't allow dogs. Does anyone locally know a pet sitter. Or have a friend that would be willing to do something like that? Definitely willing to pay. Thanks in advance!
Ty! I'll be in the area on vacation with some friends. And I would love to be able to bring my dog. But the Airbnb does not allow dogs inside. Does anyone have any recommendations on dog boarding or would anyone be willing to take her for in?
