Has anyone seen my pug? 😭
Lil buddy must be freezin.
hi all! my partner and i will be travelling to the portland area (and doing a trip to the northern coast as well) during feb 13-15 and i wondered about the possibility of surprising her by having photos taken of us, which we’ve never done before!
i am curious if anyone knows photographers who do mini portrait sessions in the area, or could point me in the direction of where to find one? i am hoping for something on a budget for a short session (like less than $300), but understand if that’s not feasible (want to pay photographers their worth!). just thought i’d check here as i’m not having much luck looking on other social media!
would have to be queer friendly as we are a lesbian couple. thanks to anyone for tips!
So I'm just visiting Portland for the weekend it's my first time here in downtown. As I started to go to sleep I started smelling this extremely strong putrid odor almost like gas, burnt plastic, and I think my hotel room was leaking gas or CO2 and I began freaking out. Called the front desk and no one's there.
So I open my window and the smell is actually even WORSE outside. Is this normal for Portland? I am visiting with no context whatsoever so if it has a history of smelling like gas, landfill, at night I was not aware at all.
Can any locals confirm? Or if it's not normal...is anyone in downtown smelling what I'm smelling??

Has ANYONE ever been here? Everytime I drive by it’s completely empty but somehow it’s withheld the test of time and has stayed open for at least the past 4+ years (since I’ve lived here). We have theories that it’s a front…. can anyone weigh in?
Saturday February 1, Humdinger at Foster and 92nd will have $1 slices & $3 IPA. Yummy pizza and friendly people. It’s a ‘Grand reopening’ event.
Dragging the light with my Contax 139Q. Shot on Cinestill 800T film. I used to have my birthday parties here in the early 2000s. Many fond memories.
Providence Portland sending this to people with a uterus of reproductive age. There is an option to contact some sort of third party I think, but they will no longer be covering the cost of contraception directly for employees. Happy New Year. Pull out and Pray 🥲
Hey everyone,
I’m a renter in the NW Nob Hill area, living in a one-bedroom apartment in a relatively new complex (around 30 units), managed by Cushman & Wakefield.
I’ve noticed my trash bill steadily increasing—from the mid-$40s to nearly $60 a month. This seems excessive, especially considering how little waste I produce. At these prices, I could rent my own 90-gallon trash can from the city for about the same cost.
Is anyone else experiencing these rising fees? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!
The weather is showing cold and perspiration. I’ve been here six years and last years storm caught me off guard. Do you know how this happens? Should we be worried again?
I ride occasionally and couldn’t find any single place with good discussion dedicated to Cascades service, so here it is!

What's everybody paying for what kind(s) of car(s)? Are you happy with your insurance provider? Are you sad?
I pay $4,200 for two drivers with Safeco. Clean driving records, good credit. One nice car, one beater. I'm sad.
First time seeing a coyote in the Lloyd district. This morning at 8:45.
