Welcome to /r/TheWolfAmongUs! This is a subreddit devoted to discussion of the Telltale Games series The Wolf Among Us. Bigby and Snow are returning to untangle more mysteries in the much-anticipated sequel to one of Telltale’s most beloved games, The Wolf Among Us. Award-winning voice actors Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette are back to breathe life into the main characters (Bigby and Snow). The lead writer, creative/game directors, and composer of the original game are back for another trip into the dark universe of Vertigo’s Fables graphic novels in The Wolf Among Us 2.

A visual evolution of Snow throughout the years in the mundane world. Most of the outfits I came up with myself^^ the pilgrim one is in the comics however and the first dress is my interpretation of her in the Homelands.
I have this neat headcanon that Snow starts keeping her hair untied once she officially gains her independence, no longer under her ex husband or Crane...
I still have Fables: Grimm up and yes it's in production. Just on break till december.
SPOILER
!Hi guys,!<
!is Faith/the Fable prostitute supposed to die at the beginning of the game or could I have avoided it from happening in some way?!<
That's the post. I'm in love with all the characters and the theme and specially, Big Bad Wolf. I don't know the origins of all these characters but I'm so tempted to learn at least everything about Bigby. What a badass, cool and deep characters. Fucker even looks cool as hell... Voice acting is just spot on.
Up there with Geralt as my most favorite video games characters.
First of all I want to apologize if something is written incorrectly, I am not a native and therefore I am in an online translator
Anyway, I've been playing the wonderful TWAU but I've had a question that maybe I'm a bit idiotic but that I'd like to do; throughout the game it is made very clear that the tapes they use in Pudding and Pie have a spell that makes it impossible for you to talk about the situation because otherwise you will lose your mind, well, everything is fine up to there, but it left me thinking and it is "Perhaps... You can't write about it either?" I say, the first answer one would give would be "Yes, you can't." but it is never established directly in the game and I have been itching for a long time about that, does anyone know if that is established in the work but it is in a dialogue that I have not had or have not paid much attention to? Or if that is explained in some other medium such as comics? Or if it's the real "You're a killjoy, dude, why do you notice that?"
Is Flycatcher actually a frog?
Just played for the first time, sat down for 6 hours and got a quarter through episode 4, meaning I got pretty far. Now here’s my thoughts.
So, My least favorite character is probably crane cause he’s a weirdo
My favorite character is bigby the protagonist but I can’t say that so I’m gonna say woody, he may be a dick sometimes but the dude is cool and he smoke a cigarette with me not even snow would do that.
Honorable mention is Collin the pig, that dude is hilarious and I’m keeping him idc about the rules.
Now, something that dawned on me today is that I’ve been a complete and total asshole the entire game, every time I’ve gotten the chance to hit someone or cuss them out I do it cause it’s funny. I did tear tweedle Dums throat out and snow berated me for it which made me hate her cause like girl I saved your life and just took 10 shotgun slugs to the chest for you least you could do is say thank you. And here she is telling me how things work from now on cause she’s the deputy mayor now. I know Bigby simps for her but I just wanna crash out on her she pisses me off. I guess I’m a psycho but like the way she put her foot down and told me what to do after I literally died and came back to life for her just didn’t sit right with me.
But yeah that’s my experience pretty much so far, when I get out of class I’m gonna go play the rest and finish this phenomenal game, but that’s my thoughts I’m down to hear some criticism.
I’ve always had a question about the theory of Nerissa being the one who’s alive and it’s faith who actually died. Why is the theory always prefaced with the fact that faith must have been dead before the game started and the girl we meet at the beginning is nerissa glamoured as faith? Why couldn’t faith had just been killed and her head delivered after the woodsman incident?
I understand i'm in the complete minority but my playthroughs have their relationship as platonic as possible and i just don't see that spark everyone is talking about. I'm not doubting it, I just don't see it. You could say she's protective or caring but I feel like she's always ready to believe the worst about bigby like thinking he was apart of torturing dee and you have to correct her that you weren't (if you choose to abstain from the torture) or basically saying don't be himself when talking to TJ or even saying things like you "you did well sheriff, i'm surprised" a couple of times throughout.
I know i'm a bit delusional but i'll forever maintain the connection Bigby and Faith had was so undeniable and top tier because even the limited interaction they had left a huge impact on Bigby, and myself included. Infact, if i'm not mistaken, she's the only one to really believe in him telling him "you're not as bad as everyone says you are."
also after seeing some cut content of faith and bigby pretending they're a couple to throw off a mundy cop (they're trying to coverup the woodsman and bigby's fight) it completely furthered my delusion lol.
I know this has been done to death, but I need slightly more clarification on some things. It’s been a minute since I’ve played, so sorry if some questions are obvious. To start, I do believe that faith is alive n disguised as nerissa. I think most of the evidence points there as in her story wit the cloak, the ending scene in episode 5, mirror not showing her location, picture being in 207, Swineheart wanting to run more tests, etc. Some things I’m confused on are why was lily killed, how did faith get nerissa to glamour as her, and why was faith with the woodsman if lily was his usually go to?
damn are we really that tired guys?😭
There was a post recently about "why do people choose to make Bigby bad?" and I was interested in hearing more opinions on this.
If I speak about myself personally, then each of my playthroughs (I played 51 hours of The Wolf Among Us) I tried to play either neutrally or in a very kind way that the game allows, and not because I think this is canonical behavior or behavior that suits Bigby, but rather because I am such a person that it is hard for me to hurt even those who really deserve it. Even when there is a moment with a fight I try to act minimally, attacking only at critical moments. For me personally, Bigby will always be someone good, at least internally, because most often bad behavior is caused by force. Even if you remember the moments when he was a wolf, all the murders were committed only in attempts to feed himself, Bigby is an animal, and this is a simple food chain. So, for me personally, our main character wants to be kind and he will behave kindly until the end, until he is pissed off, as it was with Bloody Mary.
But still, we all choose different behavior for Bigby, so tell me, what do you think about him? How do you see him?
Wolf among us is 5.99 on the Xbox game store
I didn't rip off Grendel's arm, cuz due to his characterization in Beowulf, he didn't strike me as the kinda guy that would be receptive to shows of force.
I went to Toad's first, cuz he has a kid, and that felt worth checking on more than a guy I didn't know who might be dead when we get there.
I chased after Tweedle, cuz he's the type of guy with answers
I also killed one of the twins after apprehending Ichabod. Everyone was trying to walk all over me and I felt like turning the Tweedle Twins into Tweedle was a good way to send a message.
Bigby wants to prove to everyone he’s not “The Big Bad Wolf” anymore so wouldn’t the most moral and decent answers be the most canon answers to the Bigby storyline?
So why is everyone purposely choosing him to be an asshole when it’s not canon??
Don’t ask for a Huff & Puff if you don’t appreciate it.
