TWD:DE remembering wrong choices for S2

I just finished Ep3 of Season 2 on PS5 (using PS4 disc).

When I finished, it said that I chose to make Clem watch Kenny beat the shit outta Carver, and that she aimed for Sarita's arm. I did the opposite for both of those choices. The next episode loaded with Sarita's arm on the ground. Is there a way to fix this? Do those particular choices matter much? Is there a way to go back and edit without replaying the whole episode? I've only got one save file.

I've only ever completed up to the end of season 2, so if those choices have major consequences later, please don't spoil them, a "Yes they're big" or a "no they don't matter" is all I need.

Big Spoiler Question

How many of you got the exact same ending as Domthebomb in the final season episode 4

Especially with David and Gabe being Dead and Romancing Kate in Season 3? And how many of you have a YouTube playthrough of it?

What if Telltale created a new series?

I think the Stranger Things series fits very well with the Telltale style, because there are many scenes of investigation and exploration throughout the series. it also has horror elements which in my opinion are perfect to connect to comic-style graphics. what do you think?

Why Can’t I See My Choices?

Every time I finish an episode I never get to see my choices even though I’m logged into my telltale account while playing. When I go to the extras menu there is also a lock on my choices. Is there any way to prevent this or see my choices?

I’m also playing on Ps4

TIA

Spoiler Question about AJ

I would really appreciate it if more people would comment on this subject topic please.

I edited some things so you guys could read it better and there are also spoilers for the story video game The Last of Us Part II so read at your own risk!

Do you think AJ might end up becoming a crazy serial killer sociopath or psychopath? Because the way he talks about killing people especially what he did to Marlon without thinking about the consequences of his actions was the definition of Murder! Marlon wasn't perfect but he didn't deserve to die like that he even surrenders too and I believe he actually felt Remorseful Regretful Guilty Responsible and Ashamed of what he had done

but AJ killed him in cold blood anyway so I don't blame Louis and Mitch and all the other kids for acting the way they did in Episode 2 and I know AJ is still young and Clem has been trying her best to teach him right from wrong and I know he saved Clem's life but still I worry that there will come a day where Clem will have to tell AJ to look at the flowers for those of you who know what I mean there are people who still don't like and hate AJ regardless of him saving Clem's life! Because of his personality especially when you tell him to kill Lilly and the way he said he liked killing her in such a creepy serial killer voice I mean he reminds me of Light Yagami from the anime/manga series Death Note and he reminds me of Harvey Dent aka Two-Face especially from The 2008 film The Dark Knight especially with that famous quote "You either die a Hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the Villain" and that's what I worry about with AJ that one day he could totally freaking snap and Clem would have no choice but to finally put him down once and for all that's what I still fear in the future for AJ that he will do something so bad to someone else that they will want revenge on him and

David from Season 3 is a good example of that because David was Crazy and in most of the endings of Season 3 he ends up dead! But he was right about one thing "AJ was a Brat" Also Karma might come back for AJ because someone might bash his brains out just like Badger from Season 3 got his brains bashed out from Javi all I'm saying is if AJ still keeps doing crazy stuff and being ruthless when it comes to killing people then someone is going to want revenge and is going to want to kill him Just like Abby killed Joel in The Last of Us Part II because Joel killed Abby's Dad! That could happen to AJ in the future you never know because he might just go to far and someone maybe Clem will have no choice but to put him down in the future which would be a sad but true thing indeed! So what do you all think about AJ's future when comes to killing people who do wrong by him and the way he talks about it like it's no big deal!

I just hope he will learn to give people the benefit of the doubt in the future instead of wanting to kill them because when it came to interrogating Abel when AJ saw him Die he started to feel a little sorry for him especially if you ask him as Clem by saying isn't this what you wanted and AJ will say I did but and then Abel will cut him off by saying You're going to get your wish and AJ has a sad look on his face I liked where AJ offers Abel Water at least because you told him what he did to Marlon was wrong and it was murder and that he would have to atone for it so he thought he could do the same with Abel I just don't know I still worry what and who AJ will become in the future

Maybe he will start to show a little bit of mercy to his enemies and he will only kill them in self defense and he will show mercy to the ones who hopefully feel Remorseful regretful guilty responsible and ashamed of their actions look I know it's a zombie apocalypse world and it's every person for themselves but you have to believe that there are some people who want to be good and who want to be heroes I hope AJ will see that and try to have a code when it comes to not killing as many people only if and when it's necessary and when it's unnecessary I hope he will learn and know the difference especially when said to Lilly's face in Episode 3 of the final season that he killed Marlon and that he wasn't a monster but she was and it was a good choice that he killed Lilly but still I just hope he will learn the difference when it comes to doing the right thing which is showing mercy to people like Marlon and killing people like Lilly I hope he will know the difference and grow up to be more like Clem and his parents Rebecca and Alvin and less like Carver hopefully anyway what do you guys think? 🤷‍♂️🙏

Favorite Telltale quote ever?

This has to be mine

"She left me... My son... People that cared about us. I forgive her, but it don't make it any less wrong. You don't just end it cause it's hard. You stick it out, and you help the folks you care about. So let's figure a way outta here and get that little girl"

Any characters that share similarities between Telltale's games?

Are there any characters that you feel have similarities between Telltale's games in terms of characterization, why you like or hate a character, etc?

Note: No comparisons between characters within the same series (e.g. If you pick someone from The Walking Dead season 1, you're not allowed to compare them to anybody from any of The Walking Dead games, so no comparing Ben to Arvo for example.). You can make character comparisons between different series, though (e.g. Abel and Georgie Porgie would be acceptable).

What is the funniest visual glitch you've encountered in a telltale game

For me, it was in the Xbox 360 version of mcsm s2 where for some reason Axel's eyes were crossed and just made him look derpy.

Telltale's Game of Thrones: An Alternate Take on Mira's Ending

The other Forresters’ plots end with at least a vague bit of hope, but it felt to me like the writers stacked the deck against poor Mira, leaving her with no way to triumph. Even the “better option” leads to her totally deprived of agency (rendering her as a literal NPC), her fate inexorably tied to a man who will imprison her when she’s not bearing his children (🤢), and with innocent blood on her hands.

I also mourned the most for Tom, who I really found interesting and unique to the GOT/ASOIAF world. He was mysterious but seemingly good-intentioned, and offered some rare (non-Night’s Watch) smallfolk representation.

I think the mysteriousness of his intentions toward aiding Mira made him feel plausible to the deceptive snake pit of King’s Landing. His clear hiding who his employer is and almost assured stalking of Mira (not to mention his willingness to kill Damien and presumably turn his corpse into meat for bowls o’ brown!) gives him a bit of an edge, so he’s no naïve waif, yet his selflessness and humbleness made him also makes him stand out as a classic example of that clichéd Pinterest quote about good things coming from unexpected places. His and Mira’s precarious alliance was really interesting, and I was so disappointed by the two ways it can end.

It’s especially odd because, as someone who’s implied to be a “little bird” in service to someone (possibly Varys) and who’s generally very good at being unnoticed and sneaking around, I think it would actually make a lot of sense for Tom to be at least somewhat familiar with the secret passages through the Red Keep—including the one leading to and from the dungeons that Varys uses to talk to Ned in season one and spring Tyrion in season five.

Obviously the Telltale writers chose to have Tom be captured by the guards while Mira is in prison, but I think even the guards’ accuracy in identifying Tom in particular as Mira’s accomplice seems a bit contradictory to what’s established in the first scene. That’s the one where he converses with Mira, saying that nobody really notices a coal boy. It’d be a lot more in keeping with that idea if the guards knew that a coal boy was in league with Mira, maybe with some vague identifiers like hair and eye color, but not which one. The Red Keep is huge and would need a lot of all sorts of servants to maintain it, including a lot of coal boys who are probably more or less similar to Tom in appearance, especially with their faces smudged with coal.

Imagine if the guards soon grow bored, insulted by the idea of wasting energy and time chasing down someone of such common stock among a swarm of other equally interchangeable and insignificant coal boys? Given their classism and the rumors about her conduct, the guards would naturally assume Mira is the brains of their operation and Tom is just a lowly pawn, that he wouldn’t have the intelligence and political connections needed to do anything truly damaging on his own.

So they take a poor random coal boy (also named Tom, a very common name even in Westeros) who fits the vague description of our Tom’s size and coloring into custody, or a holding cell somewhere, or something, awaiting execution.

Meanwhile, Tom has been hiding out in Flea Bottom, or something place obscure in the Red Keep that only the servants would know (perhaps again referring to the various secret passageways littered throughout). Once he realizes that Mira has been captured, he winds his way down into the dungeons and they escape together.

Bonus points if this is right after the conversation with Morgryn in which Mira has possibly sentenced Tom to die in her place. Tom doesn’t know this of course, but Mira would probably feel pretty ashamed and guilty. Plus Tom’s guilt over the innocent coal boy that was killed in his place, which I imagine he keeps secret from Mira, just saying that he escaped the guards’ clutches somehow. Both have dark secrets to keep. That could easily influence their potentially uneasy dynamic in the hypothetical second season.

It might be an unrealistically dumb decision/too risky, but I like to think that, as they weave through the secret passageways, Mira convinces Tom to make a stop in her chambers (which are presumably now far away from Margaery’s due to her demotion). There she quickly collects a sentimental gift from Ironrath (maybe the wooden memento Ethan’s said to have carved, in remembrance of him) and some small jewelry she hides in her bodice. Then they take another hidden passage and escape the Red Keep in an unorthodox way, like through the kitchens/scullery/boiler room where they keep the coal. All the lower-rung servants are preoccupied with this other coal boy’s execution. Mira is curious to know what they’re talking about, but Tom hurries her along and tells her it’s just smallfolk concerns, nothing she needs to worry about. Mira is suspicious but lets it go, focusing primarily on their escape.

(As for the servants recognizing Mira, maybe they find an abandoned cloak in the secret passageway to hide her high-class clothes (even if they are ruined) with a hood to cover her hair. With her visibly exhausted, hair tangled, and unwashed, and potentially even a bit skinnier due to smaller meals due to her time in the dungeons, she could fit in easily among the scullery girls as long as they’re just passing through.

In Flea Bottom (which frankly I’d love to see realized visually, I don’t think we’ve seen it in the show), they flee to the collier store that Tom canonically mentioned. There, Mira gives her jewelry/silks to Tom and tells him to sell them. She hides out while Tom does so (Flea Bottom is so poor I don’t think anyone would ask too many questions about where he got such high-class stuff—maybe he even roughs the silks up or cracks the jewelry a bit for believability). With the coin he receives he buys horses and supplies.

Meanwhile, Mira is given smallfolk clothes by Godwyn’s wife, who had a daughter roughly her size, in payment for her current outfit. While waiting for Tom, she gets an idea and, disguised in her new dress and the cloak from the passage, buys some hair dye from a merchant in the streets. She dyes her hair golden-blonde, but it comes out more dirty blonde due to the darkness of her original hair. Mira takes on the name “Sera,” in honor of her former friend, or a feminine form of “Ethan” (Ethayne? Ethyl? Etta?) to remember her little brother.

Tom comes back with his goods and the horses, including a map, and they set off together for Ironrath.

End of Mira’s storyline for season one. Cut the more indulgent, fluffy parts if required and just keep the essentials: Tom helps Mira escape the dungeons and they run to Flea Bottom, then they’re ahorse and starting their long journey to Ironrath.

Mira’s still in a tough situation (little money and on the run, harboring guilt for selling out her only ally (who now has rescued her from being murdered twice). Meanwhile, Tom feels guilty about the coal boy who died in his place and is out of his element, having left behind the keep he knew so well, plus his mysterious employer. They have to navigate the strange terrain and work together in a situation both are unequipped to handle alone. Plus, there’s the class angle—Mira has to act convincingly as one of the smallfolk, but she’d have to learn that. Maybe Tom could teach her his accent, lol.

And there’s the fact that from the start their alliance has been predicated on class: lowly coal boy Tom serving the lady Mira. He might have trouble treating her like one of his fellow smallfolk. He’d be going against every social instinct ground into him by growing up a peasant and working as a servant in close proximity with nobility. He might stick to these social rules of conduct with Mira because he still thinks of her first and foremost as a highborn lady and is struggling to gauge what would be appropriate or inappropriate in this strange new situation where they’re both in the same boat.

So there’s the hypothetical plot wrap-up to Mira’s Season One plot, setup for Season Two, and new character dynamics and arcs to develop. I think this ending is a lot more fitting, honestly…even though it came out more like fanfiction, lol.

Starship Troopers Telltale/Quantum Dream Game

Hi everybody, I just saw the first movie and let me just say how amazing it is. Really, you go into this movie at the start and it's just a late 20th century teenage movie, you immediately love your guy and hate his rival! Go sportspall! Get the girl! Screw your parents! But then after Juan accidentally gets someone killed in training, the movie hits a slump, he gets punished, gets broken up with.

Up until Buenos Aires, the movie suddenly shifts in tone again, it serves as the propper introduction as to what's to come in my opinion.

And the big K is the perfect time to roll in intro credits.

The movie turns from a teenage flick reminiscent of back to the future, to a gritty war documentary of sorts.

Now I'll talk about the videogame adaptation.

Choices: This movie has Juan make a lot of choices that impact his life, major and minor, I imagine the game opening on the teacher's lecture, Juan has to decide how he answers the question of Civillian or Citizen, the first of many choices that determine in the end-game if he lives or dies, and if he becomes the ultimate fascist propaganda hero, or a major who does what he must to serve his planet that he undoubtedly loves, but also recognizes the undesirable parts of the government and sees the wrong doings of humanity's agression (humans attacked first, right? Let's just say they did but bugs took it too far)

The ending and player choices decide if Earth becomes the ultimate species of the universe, destined to rule with an iron fist, or if Juan is able to actually change the government and promote more democracy, unity for all, forever.

Choices wouldnt just decide politics though, some choices would affect your sanity, the people you save or kill, the amount of bugs you manage to kill, the missions you choose to take, and most measurable, the way society views you, the parts of battle you wish to do... etc.

I wouldn't focus on one on one relationships, that's just corny and tedious in these types of games, imo. Juan is too likeable, the media wouldn't even negatively cover him, they'd shift their propaganda however he shifts his politics

Some of the major ones could entirely go off from the movie's plot (Juan doesn't get the trainee killed, he doesn't choose to leave, therefore he doesn't see his parents as they die.)

Action: The other integral part of these types of games, and this movie has plenty of it.

Likewise to the choices Juan makes in school and at home, the arena football game can serve to introduce the player to action and qte. Then basic training teaches them guns, then the big K battle teaches them to be humble and forget all of that.

More persuasion type of qtes could involve throwing nukes, jumping onto the big bug, avoiding obstacles, etc.

Game wouldn't really be episodic, so I guess it is more quantum dream than telltale, but the story would go from end of Juan's hs to the end of the war. (I would just end it here, I don't know about the 'second war' or whatnot, you either make peace as a universal hero or make supremacy as a universal hero... in the eyes of earth!)

So yeah, that's my thoughts on this type of idea, figured id share. Lmk what you think 😀

Did I buy the full season?

So, I recently bought A New Frontier Season pass on the PS Store sale but now that I've installed it every episode bar the first is saying I need to purchase it. Will I be able to unlock the rest after completing the first or will I need to purchase each episode individually?

What happened to Minecraft: Story Mode?

It is on the Microsoft Store, but I'm unable to purchase it, and everyone else has this problem. It's clear it has been taken off the store for good, but why? Licenses? TellTale's shutdown around the time of TWD Final Season? What was the reason behind it and will it ever return? Every other Telltale game that I an think of is available to purchase digitally. (I'm aware I could just buy a disc version)

TWD Season 5 possibilities

This might be a hot take on the series, I know it ended with "the final season", but I feel like it was just because they were also going out of business, along with other stuff I don't know.

I know it did end with closure and happily ever after, but there are some plot holes that could be explored too if they are actually able to come back in the future. As much as this might sound like post game depression, I think there's at least 3 possible ways Telltale could further the series, if they have a budget and fanbase for it(Spoilers if you haven't seen it all):

TWD: Kenny: This could be about the time in between when Kenny "dies" in the first season and when Clementine meets him in the second. You'd just choose whether he starts in the alleyway or the parking garage and go from there.

TWD: Clementine & AJ, or just AJ or just Clementine: Whether or not Lilly dies in the end of S4, she didn't return back to her base with the boat or people. We never find out what happens to her base or anything. They seem like the type to get mad at that kind of thing so for this game they could come back and try to get revenge, and for the sake of plot points (like killing off Jane and Kenny in S3), Lilly could just be killed by her base leaders and we find her body.

TWD: A New Frontier S2: The third season ended with "we're gonna rebuild Richmond and survive as one", but we never see it get done, no flashbacks from Clem or anything. So this game could be about that. We also know that Richmond was just one of many bases that the New Frontier had, so the other bases might elect new leaders and try to take revenger or kill the "fake frontier". Kind of of like Infamous Second Son, you could choose either to kill everyone in the bases, or try to convert them to join you. And for plot points sake I guess David, Gabe, Kate, and Joan would have to die somehow, or you can just choose who's alive and dead, that'd be a lot of possible outcomes so you'd just have to change the whole game type or just spend lot's of time in that area.

Anyway that's my thought process on that, I loved the games. But the book series..... come on Tillie, don't even get me started.
