Some crackers and oolong tea
Took a long hike today and my feet where killing me after I came home. I fired up the kettle, got my new favorite pot and put some 2012 Yiwu Qiaomu Puerh from the essence of tea in there. Not as sweet and honeylike as most of the YiWu puerh teas I tried but still very good tea! I like how it starts out a bit bitter which quickly transforms into sweetness after each sip you take. Good tea.
So here’s my teapot collection ! It brings me so much joy I needed to share it with people that can understand 🥹
Pot of New Moon Darjeeling with my wife.
I’m drinking some 2004 “Millenial Old Tree” Big Snow Mountain raw puerh from Yunnan Sourcing. A guangdong aged puerh with a wetstorage smell and taste that is surprisingly sweet and spicy. Delicious tea!
Some gold cups I got as a gift. The way they open up at the top is atypical but it doesn't cause issues using them
Too bad the white van is in my view.

My meditative morning routine
I made a tea cozy from an old sweater during the pandemic. I just brewed lapsang souchong, and spilled some water on the cozy. The heat and brew steam makes the wool smell like a wet wool sweater at a campfire. Oddly comforting on a cold sunny day.
