Drinking a nutty cinnamon herbal tea
low-quality pu erh, but it did the job of satisfying my pu erh craving. but i love the silver needles/white peony (very sweet, honey aroma) already on my 7th steep using a bowl-cup (not proper gaiwan). enjoying tea alone while i introduce passive movements to my left hand fingers (im a hemiplegic stroke survivor)
Absolutely cannot start my day without it 🍵
2003 Yi Wu “Chun Zheng Pin” raw Puerh, bought from Yunnan Sourcing.
The tea is 2003 Yi Wu “Chun Zheng Pin” from Yunnan Sourcing, a sweet tasting raw puerh. And I’m using my Zuni clay F1 teapot from ‘77 - ‘82. My cup is from the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911). I got both from the Essence of Tea. Is it a waste of money since you can use cheaper teaware? Yes! But I like vintage stuff and it elevates my happiness when drinking so to me they’re worth it.
