I've already reset it and checked the picture settings
This is a TLC Roku model 55S41R. I picked it up on Black Friday a year or 2 ago and never took it out of the box. Finally set it up and it’s been fine for about 4 months and now it’s doing this. I have tried every setting possible, updated all firm ware and hours googling. It does it on every input and the main menu screen. Is the backlight just failing or am I missing something?
I have a Panasonic LCD TV
My issue is the TV comes on as normal although on boot up the Panasonic logo appears then just seems to get stuck then does not progress from here, at times whe I try it once the logo appears it will turn off I hear the relay click on then clicking to shout it of I have had a look at the capacitors they're visually fine although I havent checked the values, has anyone experienced this issue or any ideas where to look please mode number is YX-58AX802B
Hey! Noticed after changing the backlight, that my Tv screen has circular spots all over the panel. Only visible while white. Almost looks like backlight LED burn in (?) Is there any fix for this? Tried cleaning the screen already. TV model: Samsung UE40KU6172U
I hope someone can help me.
I turned my TV on. I heard a buzzing sound. And after the buzzin sound it went from full screen to this flickering.
Does anyone knows whats wrong and what i can do to repair it?
Model Code: UA65BU8000GXXP
[No longer in warranty period]
I did my research and tried different ways to fix it such as smacking it and reset it. My last option is to disasseble it and check all cables inside.
Thanks!
I got a 75" Sony X90L and set it up last night without any issue, had it paired to my PS5 and soundbar. Today when turning the TV/PS5 on the screen showed these vertical lines across the screen, I switched it to the Netflix app to see if it was a cable issue with my PS5 but they persisted on the Netflix screen. Turning the TV off and on again did not resolve the issue, but completely unplugging the TV and plugging it back in made it go away. The TV was brand new out of the box, should I be taking it back under warranty or is this a minor issue that won't occur again? Thanks in advance for any help
Hello,
I'm having an issue with my TV (LG model 43uj6525). When I first received it, the screen was blue. I followed a YouTube tutorial to fix this by replacing the LED bar, and it worked! However, after about a week, lines started appearing on the display.
I suspected I might have damaged something during the repair process. When I touched the lines, a part of the display became extremely hot. I unplugged the TV, opened it up, and noticed a burnt smell and the damage shown in the image below.
I'm not a TV technician and have only learned through self-study. What could be the cause of this damage, and is there a way to fix it?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Started with just the bar appearing sometimes and now it's this. 1 year out of warranty.
It died 2 days ago. My wife and I were watching a YouTube video (the newest episode of Viva la Dirt League's Misfits DnD) and the screen shut off. At first, we thought that it was an ad coming on at a bad time, but nothing happened. Then I noticed that the light on the bottom was flashing red four times in a row. I can't find out what the error code means. Anyone know what it means, and how to fix it? Thanks!
Tv started having that shadow appear, it would go away for a little and come back but now it’s permanently there. What is the issue? Is it worth fixing or cost outweighs the price of a new one? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Hi everyone. I bought this 65” Sony X85K just over a year ago (perfect timing for the warrantee to expire) and these dark patches formed on the screen. Any thoughts on fixes? I was debating taking it in to a local repair shop.
Tv is a SAMSUNG UN65TU700DFXZA
Got it for free because it was broken, replaced all the ribbon cables on the back (did not work) now I need help with further diagnosing, is the panel broken? How can I tell? I can pull out the multimeter and check connection points but not sure where to look, first TV repair.
If this looks like a broken panel, how much will it cost to repair? Is that something I could risk doing myself?
Would anyone be able to identify why the left side of the screen does this? It almost causes a "ghost" like filter. It worked great, but looks like someone tried to wipe the screen, then something happened to it. Anyway of fixing it, or should I just get a new TV?
I replaced the edgelit LEDs in my 5yr old Hisense 55H9E PLUS and its working again now nicely, but I need some suggestions as to glue/tape the screen back into the casing/frame?!
It is taped in there like a cellphone screen on the top and sides. I had to cut that seal to get the screen etc out. Really surprised I didn't break the screen, but I didn't so far and now need to glue/tape it back up so the screen doesn't flop out, lol... :)
I was thinking T7000 glue like they use in cell phone repair, as I can't find any black thin foam tape like what was in there. I'm in Canada fwiw. I know I probably won't ever be able to get back into the TV if I glue it, but not to worried about that as its already over 5yrs old.
Ideas?!
Thanks :)
Hello!
I have a 75" JVC LCD 4K TV, only 2 years old. I don't have the exact model to hand atm but here's my problem.
I'd say 50% of the times I turn the TV on, the picture flickers on screen for maybe half a second then returns to black. 5-10 seconds later the picture will flash back on screen for half a second then return to black again. This could go on anywhere from 10 minutes to 4 hours before the picture finally stays on the screen. Once it does, it stays on, no issues at all.
While the TV is black you can just barely make out the picture in the black screen.
I've done a firmware update, turned all the sleep timers off, fully powered it down, reset it etc. All the basics.
The other 50% of the time it comes on and works as normal, which gives me a glimmer of hope that it's not going to cost me a bomb.
The kids however do not enjoy waking up on a Saturday morning to sit there and wait for the TV to come on for a couple hours.
Thanks in advance for any help!
