A fashion movement that combines elements of countercultures around the world with modern street style. Popular influences streetwear draws upon include, but are not limited to:

• Artistic movements such as punk, grunge, and hip hop
• Anachronistic artistic motifs such as cyberpunk or Renaissance art
• High fashion and avant gardism
• Active-wear such as athletic or military clothing

Rules:

1. This subreddit is dedicated to streetwear and anime. Anything that is not anime that is related to streetwear will be removed at the moderators' discretion.
2. Be nice. Any sort of racist, homophobic, etc language will result in a ban.
3. Direct links or crossposts featuring direct links are preferred.
4. If you can provide the source for an image please do so.
5. Nudity is not allowed. That belongs in r/ecchi or r/hentai. If something is NSFW, but not necessarily nudity, please mark it as NSFW. If you're not sure whether a post would be considered nudity, feel free to message the mods using the moderator widget below.
6. Reposting is allowed only under certain conditions. The post must be at minimum 6 months old and must have under 500 upvotes previously. Before posting use redditbooru to check if and when your post has been posted before and its upvotes. If the above conditions are not met the post will be removed
7. (For now) all users are limited to 6 posts per 12 hours. Any posts exceeding this limit will be removed.
8. Repeated violations of any of the rules will result in a ban at the discretion of the mods/admins. Bans may be appealed by contacting a mod different from one that banned you.
