I was watching this scene and was thinking about it. Lapis maaaybe wouldn’t try and hurt the gems because she likes Steven. But jasper was different. I wonder what would’ve happened here if jasper didn’t get left behind. Could Steven and the gems have persuaded her to join them? Probably not. IMO I think they probably would’ve taken her to an area where they could form a fusion and get ready to bubble her in case they needed to. Any of the Crystal gem fusions could beat jasper I’m pretty sure.

Also side note I think an interaction between Sardonyx and Jasper would’ve been so funny to see. She probably would’ve been the one to beat her if garnet and pearl found her in that one episode where Stevonnie beat her.

Tried making the loop less confusing and thought she needed longer hair

Ok so I’ve been thinking,we obviously see that a gems gemstone is placed in a unique place on a gems body,but does it just get placed in that specific spot randomly or is it just however the hell the diamonds felt that day? Idk lol I dunno if I’m even speaking English here

it all starts with when pink faked her shattering, she seems to eat the fake shards if im correct? (please correct me if im wrong) and then gets poofed and leaves those “shards “ behind as if she was shattered. that WOULD make sense but gems can eat and when they get poofed, the food doesnt pop up out of nowhere as we see with amethyst. someone help me out here!

I was curious because in this mode it was seen that his powers were greatly amplified when he gave life to those cactus that came out of the hibernation in Little Homeworld

They don't have art for "lower crust" gems, they don't believe in or have that much leisure, they don't need resources to live, and they don't have ideas or beliefs they want to make other species believe

Basically those are the reason the main reasons to expand a empire, you expand so there's more working oppopportunities for lower class, so more people can have leisure and time to create art. Or your empire is growing but needs more resources like food or building materials, you also expand to spread the ideas and beliefs of your people

Gems don't work for money and are all born with jobs so they dont need more working opportunities

But the gems don't really have leisure, they rest when they aren't working but that's mostly just standing around and talking but that isn't leisure so much as talking and not working with coworkers around a water cooler

They aren't allowed to make art either, art only exists to make things aesthetically pleasing for higher ranking gems

They don't eat, the gems buildings don't degrade much and they don't need more buildings so they don't NEED resources

And they don't believe in the spread of ideas because they eradicate any lifeform that isn't a gem

So why keep expanding across the universe?

What happens when the entire universe is just 1 giant gem colony?

Was expanding their empire all they knew or what they thought they were supposed to?

And when a empire gets too big it becomes impossible to manage so a rebellion was BOUND to happen so why expand when you don't need to?
