So this is the only fighting game I actually invested time into. Since I saw this it gave me hope that maybe it will come out again, but what's the likelihood that it would be this year if at all

Remember, people said the exact same thing about the game when it's first announcement trailer came out last year. Then as we saw more gameplay and an actual chance to play the game, it felt a lot faster comparatively.

The footage isn't final anyway, so I'm sure they'll make adjustments where necessary

Anybody else think it would be epic if this scene from smiling friends S2E1 was an actual tease that Mr Boss or possibly one or multiple of the smiling friends could be joining the Multiversus roster ?

Honestly I’d love to see Mr Boss and Charlie join the roster.

I’m afraid my worries were true. I said this about a month ago, and I reserved some doubts because we didn’t see enough in-action footage to really tell, but scaling up the character models really makes it cramped. I can understand why they scaled up the models, but the stages and more importantly, stage limits, are not tailored to this scaling at all. Imagine putting Iron Giant in that gameplay footage we all saw. Man will double jump and already be in the blast zone.
