While playing this game I came to the realization that this game doesn’t like snipers nor support snipping as a whole. The sniper rifles it offers are complete garbage without the mods. The mods you need to make these rifles even close to resembling true snipping are extremely difficult to acquire. Even headshots mean nothing in the game. Just overall disappointing. If anyone has any tips to make it easier to snipe please share.
Hi I was just wondering which would be better to buy?(im on console) is the Classic collection worth getting or is it not a good re-release and I should get the originals instead?
The game began stuttering on any multiplayer mode. Anyone know why? I'm on PS5 Pro and it was fine the first few days. Then suddenly it began stuttering and it's been that way non stop for 5 days.
Hey, guys. I am a longtime Battlefront fan of the franchise, but never had interest in getting the EA sports games. I got Battlefront ll on a monster deal for the Halloween sale, and I'm not going to lie. it's been pretty fun(imho, it still doesn't touch OG, though 😂😂). I felt right at home with the controls and everything.
The only problem is, when I get online, it says that I have "limited online features", and after completing an Instant Action battle, it gets stuck at "calculating credits". I get tired of waiting, so I press the continue button, and then I'm rewarded 0 credits after winning an epic battle. Anyone know why this happens? Any way of getting past this?
We were doing 1v11s, first game he went boba and just disrupted 1v1s the whole game, 2nd game he just respawned constantly...
Like, just leave the damn lobby if you don't want to do 1v1s.
It seem there is a trend with those kind of question , this time different because its about the best HvV Lando and Bossk you met .
Asking in general doesnt really make sense for me , i find it more interesting to focus of each Heroes than the whole roster . This might be to specific as a question but i am curious if a player come to your mind to tell it
Why Bossk and Lando ? Idk i like them lol
Just like the title says, looking for the Offline game mode like in the old Battlefront games where you can pilot flying ships (not walkers and tanks) and also fight on the ground?
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen videos of this but I can’t find it on the game…
Thank you!
I’m on PS and noticed that sometimes there is Double and Triple XP, is it certain set days, is it random? I play HVV and wanted to level up some players. Thanks
I consider myself a sweat, and I think I'm pretty great, but I would like to know who is the best/sweatiest in Battlefront 2; particularly, Capital Supremacy and Hvv/Showdown.
hey! my name is nebs and i’m 18+ from the uk. i’m looking for friends to help me learn the game and have some fun :3
feel free to dm me or comment (sorry im new to reddit haha) 💖
Hi guys, I have 2 other friends who are dying to play Galactic Supremacy, Galactic Assault & Ewok Hunt.
Just an idea, can we all just start searching for a game to see if we can play. This needs to be a TEAM EFFORT. Please we just want to play.
We’re in EU Servers, 19/11, 5pm UK Time.
Let me know in the comments if anyone is down.
I literally never hit the saber throw with maul. But I when I jump and throw it always hits like it has aimbot.
Further to other posts, here are some suggestions for a Battlefront 3 Legacy:
A Battlefront 3:
\"The time has come.\" - Chancellor Palpatine
Recode all graphics to 4K graphics using same camera technology used for realistic backdrops and details as with the newer games like the Battlefront 2017 game
Add Sprint and Melee ability to BF1 mechanics. You already have the ability to go prone.
Add Space battle maps from BF2 (2005) as Additional maps to the 2004 roster along with any maps from the 2017 game such as Scariff
Add Coruscant map from the rumoured BF3 (seen in the Youtube video of a Fan made BF3).
\"The entire planet is one big city.\"
Pax Republica - A New Republic Jedi Cruiser
Add Ewok Hunt similar to 2017 game with Command posts for each faction to spawn in and a Unit count.
Add a Combined Space and Ground battle mode called "Planetary Battles." As well as the ground command posts with vehicles on ground, there are 3 capital ships in orbit per team. Each capital ship have star fighters spawning in (like the old games). Each capital ship also have long range weaponry that can influence ground battle or be directed towards other capital ships. 2 capital ships per team have Command posts aboard. Each team can Capture 2 of the enemy's capital ships by capturing all command posts aboard and deploy the weaponry of any ship they control. Any team can board any ship using any empty gunship at any time. Every battle has a Reinforcement count. Games are won by eliminating enemy reinforcements, or capturing all command posts. Friendly fire is ALWAYS on.
Have Planetary battles and Instant Action maps, Heroes versus Villains and Ewok Hunt all be available offline and online.
Galactic Conquest mode to be the OG 2004 version.
A new mode called "Galactic Warfare" - online or offline - based upon the "conquest map" of the 2005 Galactic Conquest mode. The difference being for starters that EACH planet is a "Planetary battle" (combined ground and space combat). Secondly "Fleets" can be customised just like fleets in the old Empire at War games to be composed of one carrier group or multiple carriers (Star Destroyers etc) up to say a maximum of 10 large capital ships. For example, a player/faction may choose to invest in more Star Destroyers (slower, but more powerful and carriers with more star fighters that spawn) or faster, but less powerful ships. A faction may choose to spread out their Fleet across multiple planets or to conquer the galaxy with a large fleet (more powerful naval force, but leaves planets undefended). In all battles, up to 2 enemy ships may be captured. Captured enemy vessels mean those ships get destroyed and a faction will have to rebuild their Fleet. Thirdly, strategic planet for each side must be held in order for the war to continue. If the Droids capture Coruscant for instance, the Separatists win.
Have two separate sets of Lobbies/options to choose from when playing each mode where Heroes can either be Playable or AI Heroes only (as in the 2004 game).
In modes where Heroes are Human controlled, then Selectable heroes from a list of 4 for each faction. Any Heroes on a map will be killable, with no further respawn of a Hero for at least 3 minutes. The same Hero cannot be respawned in for at least 10 minutes or else until the rest of the Hero roster has been used up.
No Battle points whatsoever just like the 2004 game.
Characters can be customised to certain skins, whilst always maintaining relevant camouflage/movie accurate soldier for that particular planet (e.g. Phase 1, no markings troopers on Geonosis Spire or Kamino).
The game to focus (as the 2004 and 2005 game did) on the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War era.
Friendly fire always on for online modes. Customisable for offline.
All weapon load outs and unit classes are the same for new, or old players. Completely level playing field like the OG 2004 game. All secondary, or tertiary weapons available to any player at any time. Recon droid Orbital strike from the 2004 game in place.
No Battle points whatsoever for any Trooper class. Heroes to be assigned to Random or Best player based on XP points. Any XP score or ranking based on eliminating enemy reinforcements or capturing Command posts as in the original games. An overall XP rank accumulated over time. Shooting people in the back reduces XP points.
Be able to choose any unit at will just like the OG game.
End of game summary like the OG game outlining each team's performance, Public Enemy, Traitor, Tank Buster etc.
COOP mode from the 2017 game to be included with two Modes - Versus Computer AI and Versus Another Human Co-op Team.
AI units in all Instant Action Modes to be set to a default Medium difficulty online. Customisable to Easy, or Hard, or Jedi Master offline.
AI units in all Galactic Warfare or Planetary Battle maps/battles set to a difficulty based upon the average XP rank of the opposing team to ensure balance with a minimum of 8 AI units on the battle field at any one time, and in any 32 versus 32 lobby, any missing human players to be filled in by AI units (a minimum of 2 humans per team required to start a match).
The Awards screen at the end will be based on the Kill/Death Ratio and Command posts captured like in the original game.
Playable, or AI Heroes - Mace Windu, Master Yoda, Obi Wan Kenobi, Ki Adi Mundi, Aayla Secura, Shaak Ti, Count Dooku, General Grievous, Durge, IG 100 Commando, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Lando, Jyn Erso, Andor, Darth Vader, The Emperor, Bossk, Boba Fett, K2 Droid, Krennic, Iden Versio. - Iden Versio is an actual Imperial Special Forces Commander and remains as such*.* No defection. No becoming a Rebel. Played by same actress.
Additional Heroes for Instant Action maps for the Phantom Menace (Droid Army versus Naboo Royal Guard) - Qui Gon Jinn, Darth Maul.
Additional maps made available in an Update based on any outlines of George Lucas' sequels pertaining to his story of reunifying the Galaxy, defeating the crime syndicates etc. With the New Republic versus The Syndicate. Additional Heroes for that Era: Master Luke Skywalker, Chancellor Leia, General Solo, Jaina Solo/Skywalker, Mara Jade, Guri, Darth Plageuis, Darth Talon (the Twilek), Imperial Commando.
Use the 2017 game/modern gaming's technology to map movie accurate faces to each character. Suggestion for Jaina Solo/Skywalker: Olympia Valance. Darth Talon: Jessica Alba. Darth Plageuis: voiced by Anthony Hopkins. Guri: Katherine McPhee*.*
For those still not sold... Darth Talon... Perhaps model her on Jessica Alba?
I don’t mind the kill farmers… usually. But if it’s an objective based mode/map and it’s not about wiping out the opposing teams player count I wish some of y’all would get off of that cliff side and try to help win.
Buddy asked how I kept getting a higher score than him, even though he was pulling 20+ kills a match. 😄
Just came back to the game after 2 years and realised I only need to get the multi-taking trophy for the platinum. Wanted to know if hero star fighters or starfighter assault was better for grinding this out and also if there are optimal times and servers to actually get into games.
I would use the report feature through the scoreboard for BF2 2017, but the only in-game reason they offer a report for is "Cheating". Otherwise it's profile-related like "Offensive Username". Does EA crack down on the scum and villany of the game's players or is it not something they'd bother with?
How’s the Battlefront Classic Collection looking these days? I’m considering buying it soon, I’ll take any feedback, especially if you’re on Xbox XSX 🫡🫡
I recently got the new Xbox for my birthday (Series X), and tried to boot up my favorite game. It required a re-download, however it said it read the disc improperly and canceled the installation.
I’ve tried various other methods, such as cleaning the disc and downloading from the Microsoft store, yet nothing seems to work. The best it will do is update one percentage, and then stop the installation.
Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this? I’d very much appreciate it!
I'm new to the game, I see people in Supremacy dominating with lightsaber heroes especially when playing a team, some people even single handedly dominate with saber heroes getting 60+ killstreaks and pushing the objective on their own.
I usually die a lot sooner with saber heroes, I usually get like 10-15 kills, then die.
I want to know you’re builds and thoughts on kenobi what could be better what should change and other outfits and or emotes he should have.
Idk if anyone has found this yet but if you use Iden's sniper, and aim with it, if you deactivate it while you're scoped you can aim Iden's assault rifle. She'll do an uncomfortable sort of jitter for as long as you aim. Reloading, rolling and jumping deactivate it.
Me and my brothers played tons of BF 2015 when we were younger and Bossk's voice line "Smells like dioxis" became a huge inside joke between us. I want to find a clip of the voice line to send to my brother but I can't find it with any searching. Could someone help?
Hi all, picked up Battlefront 2 fairly recently, was aware of the backlash on release, back then I wrote it off forever and forgot about it. Cut to a few weeks ago, see it for essentially free on steam, decide to see what the fuss is all about and pleasantly surprised by the lack of lootboxes.
Finish the story, most of the arcades, think "alright that's where the solo ends, let's see what the multiplayer is like", jump on the "play any match" button, and get absolutely destroyed by other players. Most of whom don't lose an occasion to teabag after kill. Find out that coop is where you go to level up your classes/cards and so I go there to do just that. (Big thanks for the people that post guides on here btw, great help)
Most games, zero interactions with the other players in the chat. Spawn on the map, kill some things, advance to next PC, rinse and repeat, 10/10, would recommend. But then there's the people that type in the chat. And oh boy, who hurt them? Mostly getting insulted for being a noob and to "learn the game", ... that's... why I'm here. And the ones that insult you for hogging the heroes they like. Like you pointed out, I'm a noob, I'll die soon enough, let me get a few xp points and you'll get it eventually. Better yet, just ask, don't just jump to insults.
So then, all of this ranting out of the way, here's my question for you folks out here, was I just unlucky in the sample of the playerbase I was exposed to? Or is the only interaction possible on this level? Are there game modes that tend to get camped by specific types of players, and if so, where do I go to avoid the toxic ones?
