Just started getting into Star Trek and I was curious on Reddit's thoughts about the subject.
#-= Star Trek III: The Search for Spock =-
When McCoy begins acting irrationally, Kirk learns that Spock, in his final moments, transferred his katra, his living spirit, to the doctor. To save McCoy from emotional ruin, Kirk and crew steal the Enterprise and violate the quarantine of the Genesis Planet to retrieve Spock, his body regenerated by the rapidly dying planet itself, in the hope that body and soul can be rejoined. However, bent on obtaining the secret of Genesis for themselves, a rogue Klingon and his crew interfere, with deadly consequences.
Just a heads up because some folks have asked; yes I am aware of the frequent spam posts almost daily on this sub. We have moderation settings set to fight spam, but it doesn't seem effective. So I've made two updates to the automod:
You now need a minimum of 100 karma to post here. This may get increased again because most of these bots have more than that.
If a post gets enough reports it will be automatically filtered out and sent into a queue. So, the biggest thing you can do is REPORT the spammers. Enough reports and it'll happen automatically, otherwise I'll get do it as soon as I can.
Thanks all
#-= Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan =-
Khan Noonien Singh, whom Kirk thwarted in his attempt to seize control of the Enterprise eighteen years earlier, seeks his revenge and lays a cunning and sinister trap.
We will be doing another curated watch through for TNG.
As with TOS, we'll vote on what episodes to watch and skip.
However, to make it easier to manage, we're gonna start with voting just for seasons 1-2. When we are nearing the end of that, we'll do another vote, prolly for seasons 3-5, then later for 6-7.
Heads up, my current plan is to watch TNG/DS9/VOY by air date order. So once we get to that point, we'll be alternating TNG/DS9/VOY as they aired.
