2 - BE CIVIL

This is a broad rule that covers a lot of facets, but generally speaking try to keep the comments civilized. Conversations about Star Trek among nerds can get passionately fractious, and that’s okay, but remember to treat each other as human beings.

Good faith disagreements are fine, but trolling, racism, sexism, flaming, etc will not be tolerated. Please don’t use the report button as a “super downvote.” You should reserve reports for truly unacceptable behavior.

If someone is annoying you but not actually breaking any rules, remember that you do have the option to block them.

3 - NO REPOSTS

This rule is strictly case-by-case. If we see the same post popping up time and time again, chances are we're going to remove all but the highest upvoted one at that particular moment. There is no strict guideline on when something is considered 'too soon' to repost; it is up to moderator discretion.

4 - NO ADVERTISING OR SELF PROMOTION

This includes classified ads, crowdfunding campaigns, and referral links. If you stand to financially benefit from a post, it's probably advertising.

5 - Be sure to familiarize yourself with Reddit's site-wide rules and reddiquette.
