We've gotten a W of a patch, definitely fixed about a lot of the problems with the game, but we still have some left to go.
Perception is way too easy to do and too hard to counter. They can spam grab tech, which imo should be removed, that honestly would make it way more balanced. I won't say much because everyone already knows.
In Single Battles, every character needs to have the same amount of health. I can't count the amount of times i've gotten a fusion to 1 bar and then I lose after, either make every character have the same amount as fusions or down to the 4 most characters have. There's no reason in any capacity in a ranked mode to make it so that choosing one character over another gives you an overt and very present advantage, It homogenizes the character selection down, and in any match with relatively equal skill, which is what a ranked system is supposed to provide, the one with more health will win 8 times out of 10. It needs to be fixed.
Training mode is too barebones, we need the option to record moves and have the bot play it back so we can practice against certain tactics repeatedly, also add the option to make it only do one move in response to some stimuli, like if they get hit then they can do a super counter so you can practice vanishing it. If you've played Guilty Gear Strive, then that training mode is the gold standard for fighting games.
3.5 As an addon to that, it would be great if they could add tutorials with piccolo on how to counter the mechanics, because all they have is how to use them but there's nothing that tells you how to beat them. I personally don't feel like going onto youtube and trying to sift through all the videos that just regurgitate the tutorial to find the ones that actually have useful information.
The input delay is way too long, and you have way too short of a buffer window. It may seem like the input delay is the buffer window, but I've had it countless times where if I press attack within this input delay, but slightly spaced out, it will drop the combo. It leads to at least for me feeling like I need to mash constantly or I will drop the combo, which leads me into the next one
This one is my own opinion and not objective, but I believe the game is way too fast in its current state, things are happening so fast I have no time to react at all to them happening, I have around 16 hours in the game right now, about half of that i've spent in ranked and everything goes by so fast, It feels like I can never have a moment to think about anything, you just need to endlessly mash buttons so the enemy doesn't sidestep around you and give you backshots while you try to figure out the timing for super counter and fail miserably. You cannot be reactionary, you have to anticipate everything the opponent does or else.
There's probably more, like the communication error bug or the full health restore bug, but those are my major points that still need to be addressed, It's too bad the survey just closed when I finally got my thoughts together on it. Any other things you think could still be changed?
People are trying to match your energy and makes for a more fun experience. Player matches are slightly more populated after patch too. That is all
You were rough on me but after the ult I accidentally found this bug and accidentally activated it twice 💀 had it not happened you may have beaten me. I’m sorry you lost to this

Outside the problems this game had (thankfully most of it fixed by the devs imo), I fucking adore this game. Never thought we would ever get another entry in the budokai tenkaichi series so I’m glad we even got this game. Had tons of fun getting the plat for sz and if you’re still reading this thanks for listening to me yap
Also, anyone experience a sudden spike in lag everytime they vanish twice in a vanish battle?
Do any of you guys know how to get the title “Give me energy” presumably a spirit bomb 50 times?
Family, I first bought the game excited, slowly I realized that my inputs almost never go through. I kept going to training to verify I am pushing the correct commands for counters, guards, vanishes etc, and even in training the timing has to be so exact or nothing works.
Am I doing something wrong? I almost threw my controller through my TV.
These are filler characters but I love when wipe a whole team. Still had Goku and vegeta on the bench🥴
Hello everyone!
Taking advantage of some time, Me and a small group of people just created a website SPARKINGZERO FINDER, it contains all the dialogues for the "Custom Battle Mode".
The advantage is:
We plan more improvements in the future depending on community support.
Please, if you find it useful, do not hesitate to support us as it took a lot of time to create.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and please share it!

Fusing mid match counts doesn't treat you as having lost a character. Meaning fusing in game can increase your health percentage.
Learning that the time-out win con is percent health based, I did some testing in offline mode.
In a 2v5 I had the 5 team deal 2k damage and the 2 team deal only 500 damage. Fusing the 2 team gave me a full health fusion and the 2 team won in the time out.
Just got out of a heated ranked match (A4) with a Trunks. I was using base Goku Z (End) and transforming to whatever form I thought was best. I won the last match but can't help to note every Trunks I fight seems to fast. Steps and dodges are hard to match.
Ive noticed sometimes when you swap out (usually after a transformation) and come back you’ll be full HP. I had UI Goku basically one shot, he swapped out and came back a minute later with full HP. Is that a glitch? Is this intended? Is there a way to do this every time? Items were turned off btw. I’m so confused lol
Vegito / Gogeta is 90% of my matches. Yall are some fuckin nerds. Theres soo many characters and you all wanna have ditto matches on repeat. Mad wierd
Coming from BT3. one thing that's really got me frustrated with ranked matches is that I'll get stuck in melee combos that if they're really good have very little to no timeout and I'll take 20k damage until I get out of it.
Any strategies? I'm talking once the combo started.
Do we have any clues on whether they plan to fix the rage quitting or not?
The game isn't perfect, but this update made it WAY better than it was before. However, ive experienced way more rage quits on the small amount of playtime ive had since.
Do they now lose xp when they rage quit? Do we get something? Or is it just a "too bad for you" typa thing?
If the game isn't planning on fixing this game breaking issue then it's not worth playing imo
Game ready’s up instead of kicking players when hit kick.
my game is sped up and I don't know what to do its pissing me off so much pls help gang
They need to be removed entirely imo. It’s really easy to do that most day 1 players could pull one off and it rewards you with way too much for it.
This is making me go insane. Has happened so many times, really demotivating to play. Has Bandai recently spoken about fixing this?
Does anyone know why I can't move forward from here? I already beat fat Majin Buu and it won't let me move forward. I step there, watch the cinematic and then it won't let me move forward.
WHERE THE HECK IS SSJ2 AND SSJ RAGE TRUNKS. IN-GAME IT'S STATED THAT DBS TRUNKS JUST HAS NORMAL SSJ!!!! AND NO THAT BLUE AURA DON'T COUNT AS RAGE BECAUSE EVERY CHARACTER HAS AN UNIQUE AURA WHEN IN MAX POWER MODE!!!!!! TRUNK'S JUST HAPPENS TO BE BLUE TO MATCH THE SPIRIT BOMB SWORD ENERGY HE RECIEVED. THE HAIRSTYLE IS WRONG AND THERE ARE NO BLANK EYES, PLUS THE AURA ALWAYS HAS BLUE INSIDE THE YELLOW!!!!! HOW DID THEY FUMBLE SO HARD WITH TRUNKS???? THEY COULD JAVE AT LEAST GAVE HIM SSJ2!!! DID THEY EVEN WATCH THE ANIME OR READ THE MANGA BECAUSE SSJ2 TRUNKS ALSO HAS A DIFFERENT HAIRSTYLE!!!!! sigh...I JUST PRAY THAT THIS MEANS THAT: -This is either not the final build and can make visual changes in the full game -Have an Update to change his Blast 1 from Power up to very limit to his SSJ RAGE form like they did with blue evolved vegeta -Have an outfit that would resemble SSJ RAGE OR (AND WHAT I HOPE THE MOST) -LATER DOWN THE LINE THEY WILL MAKE TRUNK'S SSJ2 AND RAGE FORMS INTO DLC AS THEIR OWN SEPARATE CHARACTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because this is a poor excuse of ssj rage visually but CABBA of all people get BOTH SSJ 1 & 2?????????!!!!!! REALLY????!!!! NOT EVEN CAULIFLA HAS NORMAL SSJ!!!!!! WTF DEVELOPERS??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know everybody is experiencing this but haven't seen it brought up at all here. Maybe I missed it. Have they addressed this already? Hopefully this gets fixed soon
Yeah I'm done. I did some practice against a super movement bot and got it down, and when I felt like I had it down and was ready I went back to online and kept getting whooped. I quit. This game is too much for me to handle. Yes it is my fault for choosing to waste my own time on a ranked mode in an intentionally unbalanced game, but it is also just outright dumb to have a ranked mode in an intentionally unbalanced game. I quit sparking Zero, I will stick to smash bros for a party fighter.
Patch was needed but they didn't need to patch the dragon dash lol
Ever since the patch dropped, Android 19 and 20 have felt unplayable to me but it could just be that I need to approach how I play differently. Does anyone else that plays them have any tips for playing them on this patch or should I find something else to play until there's another change?
