Stahl being a woman

How significant do you think it is that Stahl is a woman? Does her character or arc change if she had been a man?

What do you guys think Happened between Tig and Kozik?

Tig and Kozik didn't get a long at first...Tig refused to vote to patch him in and said he didn't trust him. The two then physically fought... Kozik later confronted Tig and said something like "I loved her too"...Tig then pulls out a picture of a dog & only says "Hey Baby"...What exactly do you guys think happened between Tig and Kozik?

Do you think Tig lost his Dog because of something Kozik did? Let me know your theories on what went down.

The Rico saga makes no sense.

The statute of limitations starts as soon as a co conspirator withdrawals from the conspiracy. Seeing how otto was locked up for more than a decade before the show even starts, there's no way to prove direct knowledge of overt acts so he would be a useless witness from the start because there has to be more than hearsay to charge them with racketeering or conspiracy. If you know the law, it's a non starter but I guess that wouldn't make a good tv show.

In response to recent OP who asked about skilled fighters in SoA

I've had this saved for forever so now I don't remember if this was on the sons of anarchy website leading up to season 6 or if it was on the DVD menu for season 6 but it's legit canon FX/SoA stats lol.
Enjoy.

But regarding the original question I'd say Lenny the Pimp is likely the most skilled fighter overall.

Gemma Teller is pure evil

Im not gonna lie to you guys i have been binging the show and im currently at the point in season 4 after clay dips after threatening Tara and like Gemma Teller has to be the most evil abhorent despicable character i have ever witnessed in literally any tv show. Literally nothing she does is a good deed in itself everything has an alterior motive, she does everything to sabotage jax and taras relationship, backstabs so many times, and doesnt even immediately turn on clay after he beats the hell out of her and kills piney.Even worse was the fact she literally went around Taras home and office looking for letters just letting herself in and out as if she owns the place and obviously she found some of them but its literally so unbearable to watch,I would argue even Clay is less evil like i can at least somewhat watch him and the way he has barely any remorse for all the wrong doing he did against JT and the club but Gemma never feels like she ever wronged anybody and keeps winning and winning and getting her way,its literally making me not wanna watch the show after i finish season 4 cause of how infuriating she is.But the entire vent aside,Katey Sagal is an absolute masterclass of an actress, never seen anyone pull a female character this convincing and made me actually wanna quit a show because of how good her performance is,she is even more terrifying to watch then Joffrey from Game of thrones,so props to her honestly its a oscar worthy performance IMO.

Who do you think was the most skilled fighter in the club?

I would probable go with Jax, as he won almost every single fight he was in. Clay was also a pretty skilled fighter, considering he was basically on par with Jax in their prison fight even though he had bad arthritis in his hands. Tig and opie were also pretty good fighters. What are your thoughts?

is there a “okbuddy” type sub for Sons of Anarchy?

I’m talking about those meme subreddits for shows, like for example house m.d. has r/okbuddyvicodin, breaking bad has r/okbuddychicanery, dexter has r/okbuddymotherfucker, but does sons of anarchy have one?

Damon Pope

Why does he remind of a American mogul whose name rhymes with shmiddy?

The connections, the elitism, hell even the personality... I can't help but feel there's some real life inspiration for his character.

Tig get's over Dawn's death way too quickly

Kim Coates did an amazing job with acting out how a father (albeit distant) would react in that situation. His screams haunt my dreams. But don't you think he got over the whole thing rather quickly. Remember time in the SOA universe doesn't pass quickly. The entire series takes place in a few years. Tig's recovery over 4 or 5 episodes has to be a few days maybe a couple weeks.

Why isn't he in a ball crying in a corner?

clay could have had the best character development

his downfall always bugged me. when he found out bout Gemma's r@pe, something drastically changed. the last couple of s2 eps were a turning point, he started to genuinely put his family over club business & his own personal revenge desire, as when he choose to go find his grandson instead of dealing with Zobelle. and then s3, definitely his best season from a moral point of view, he's been more likeble than Jax for a while. comforting Tara in 3x01, being a good husband to Gemma the whole season, doing everything in his power to find Abel, taking smart rational decisions, without letting anger cloud his judgement, and ultimately going to jail for 14 months just so Opie & Chibs can take their well deserved revenge. in the end, all this development is thrown out the window. s4 just ruined him. he went from being the best version of himself to the worst so fast.

You have to show ONE episode only, to get someone interested in watching the show.

Any episode of any season, which do you pick?

Third time watching and just finished season 2

So much of the "charm" of season 1 was lost in season 2.

Season 1 had fun and things going on in the community that made you understand why people that lived there liked the MC.

Season 2 was just drama and set the future tone of depression.

Also I didn't realize how much they used the "n" word.

Still digging the show but I miss the tone of season 1

Holding Tara hostage

I feel like a huge disconnect in Jacs brain was shown when he was surprised she took the kids and ran when he was literally holding her hostage. I think this is when his power trip really started. He felt like he could control everything and everyone around him. Tara was a whole surgeon of course she’s smarter than you and was making a plan to leave.

What shouldve happened early

The show shohldve killed Gemma off around season 2 as she only just keeps doing the same thing over and over. No point in keeping her around its wasted content

Crying moments

What is your guys crying moment during the shows? For me it’s,

  1. When Jax contemplates letting Abel go to a new family in Belfast
  2. Opie’s death
  3. Tara’s death
  4. Jax’s death

I just finished this show for the first time yesterday and i’m so beat up over it 🤣 you know it’s a good ass performance when you hate the characters and get upset. Solid 10/10.

Why did the grocery store not do anything to Donna bouncing checks?

In the first season of SOA Donna bought groceries with Cheques that bounced according to im assuming the manager while she is trying to pay,

I know in technical terms this is not considered fraud as she did not intend to do it but in reality she used a Cheques that bounced more then once, i remember him saying "the last 2 bounced" with a reason they can no longer accept her cheques,

Idk if it is just me but in reality if you do this you get in trouble, i know it was to show her as a struggling "single" mother with her man in jail but like this would get her in more shit would it not?

what yall think?

What's something you completely forgot about in the show?

I forgot that Juice was supposed to be a computer hacker. It gets brought up a few times in the first season but after that it's never really mentioned again and doesnt really come into the story.

Unser having cancer throughout the show is something I completely forgot about. I think it's ironic he has a life threatening illness but lives longer than most of the main characters.

Lowell Harland, Jr still being alive is something I didn't realise until a rewatch. I always thought CLay killed him but instead he just sends him to rehab although we never see the character again after the season 1 finale. I read somewhere that he was going to have a much larger role but it was apparently cut.

Spitting on a body

Why is it after almost every time they kill someone kne they spit on the body? Seems stupid to me because all of them are convicted criminals with thier DNA on record and a bunch of spit on a murder victim wouldn’t go unnoticed by law enforcement. Quick way to catch a needle in the arm if you ask me.

Why did Wayne live like a bum?

I get he had major hospital and chemo bills but he retired with a full pension and benefits and still owned like 40 percent of his trucking company. I know he said he had two kids and the ex wife so I’m sure a lot went to them. But still he shouldn’t have been dead broke like he was. I mean he was living in a broken down camper parking it on his old property the. At the clubhouse.
