So many things I could say about me completing this but I’ll keep it brief.
-way too much time spent -I lost a lot of matches -I love and hate this game -sonic players are the fucking worst -heavies are the most fun to play with -tea bagging isn’t toxic, y’all are just sensitive
I once saw someone say dart monkey from Bloons TD should be added. I think that's a great franchise but the thought of playing against what will probably end up being half diddy kong half pac man makes me want to tear my eyes out.
In the event that a new Smash game ever comes out, I hope that they overhaul the music selection for certain franchises - particularly the third parties.
Below are some of the songs I'd like to see in specific franchises in a future game. Let me know what you think, and what tracks you'd like to see.
Note Bold = New Track, * = Remix
As one of the first 3rd party characters to be added to Smash, I wanted Sonic to have a wide array of songs across the franchise's history along with some new remixes, like what Castlevania got in Ultimate. Note that I focused more on level & non-vocal tracks, instead of the many vocal tracks Sonic is known for.
For Street Fighter, I wanted to ensure that other games aside from Street Fighter 2 were represented, unlike Ultimate where every track was from SF2. I ran under the assumption that all of the SF2 tracks needed to be included, so I kept some version of them. The rest of tracks were from the other games.
For Final Fantasy, I sought to remove the Advent Children tracks (as I prefer Smash to only stick with tracks that are in video games instead of tv/movie adaptations/spinoffs/sequels) and wanted to include some tracks outside of FF7
Aside from 1 track, all of the Kingdom Hearts tracks in Ultimate were from the first game. So I added a few tracks from other games that people really like.
I kept the number of tracks low and didn't include remixes because Square Enix music has complex copyright.
Would you like it if these franchises had these song selections in a future game? Let me know below.
I personally would replace Kazyua's current up-b with Quick Attack. There'd be no escape onstage, and it would be much harder to keep him in disadvantage.
How do some of you have more than one character flair? When I go to mine it only lets me select one.
I need tips on how to perfectly do Dair rides
Not to alarm anyone but based off the information that had been provided over the years the roster is definitely getting cut. We don’t know which characters will be cut and Sonic being a third party franchise would be on the chopping block especially if Nintedo is looking to add other third party franchises or new nintedo characters that haven’t been introduced in smash.
This isn’t to say Sonic won’t be in smash but he isn’t guaranteed. which is why I also kinda find it crazy when people talk about wanting shadow in smash 6 when we don’t know if Sonic himself will even get in.
I thought a cool way to reinvent the series would be to give the next Smash game the theme Modern vs. Retro.
It would be a great way to give the OGs new movesets while keeping the classic moves on the Retro characters.
For example, we could have Modern Mario with his current design with Cappy, Fludd and the spin attack from Galaxy, where as Retro Mario in his 8- or 16-bit design with Cape, Fire Flower and moves that represent NES and SNES.
Link, DK and Yoshi (and plenty of others) could all have Retro and Modern character slots.
Then, character like Captain Falcon and Duck Hunt would only have Retro appearances and be team Retro.
Inkling, Shulk and Minmim would fall on team Modern.
The game artwork would have each side facing off against each other, and story mode would see you picking a side to team up and defeat either a Retro or Modern villain. That way, you could play through the story twice each time picking a different side.
I think it'd be an interesting concept and I'd love to play a team of Retro Mario, DK and Link vs their Modern counterparts.
Thoughts?
Signing up for a tourny tomorrow, and wondering what you think are the most "meta" picks are
Mine is MockRock’s Ganondorf rework. A bunch of cool ideas, but still a seemingly easy-to-pick-up character that hits hard.
In honor of the recent release of Sonic X Shadow Generation, how would you feel if in Smash bro 6 they added Shadow to the roster.
He be a Semi-Clone of sonic borrowing some moves but the majority of his moves be base around his chaos powers and doom powers.
For his final smash - it pretty much be like the moon assit trohpy but it the space colony ark.
As the title say, I'm new to smash bros and i need tips to know which character should i use (i only use sonic since he is my favourite)
As the title says. Been maining joker more and more. I've been improving with movement and combo's etc, but the one thing i struggle with most is landing fair1 dragdown upair into up or down smash kill confirms. I think it's the most tricky combo i ever tried with how precise and fast you have to be. Was wondering if anyone has any tips for landing it. Or is it just the case where i have to practice it more in training mode (or online).
I landed the combo once before but have trouble getting it more consistently
Any help is appreciated!
I don't have very good internet, so when I play I have half a second of lag on all my inputs. my local scene is very dead as I live in Hong Kong and I don't know how to play against other people other than my friends who I can beat very consistently. just looking for something I haven't thought about yet because I want to get better, but I'm not improving very much.

It felt like just yesterday smash ultimate was released
Other fun reasons to put Demitri in Smash:
He was supposed to be the poster boy for Darkstalkers but Morrigan overtook him for obvious reasons.
He’s a sexy vampire man, so loads of vampiric attacks abound.
He’s voiced by OOT Adult Link, who also now voices Erdrick from Dragon Quest.
I am genuinely curious because I don't know much about the Pac-Man.
