What are they building in Simpsonville? In front of food lion on main and in front of regal cinema? Someone said another Starbucks? 🤦♀️
My wife and I moved from Greenville near Bob Jones U, so I'm vaguely familiar with the area. But I definitely don't know much about the local stuff.
I'd love some suggestions!
Does anyone have recommendations for furniture stores? We're trying to shop local and avoid big chains with shoddy craftsmanship.
Anyone know anything about this? Potentially better internet?
So shot in the dark, given that this an almost dead subreddit, but let's give it a try.
I drove my Honda Clarity plug in hybrid from Southern California to Simpsonville last week, to surprise my parents. I didn't expect to see any other Clarities out here, but passed a white one on Neely Ferry Rd yesterday.
I've got the service vehicle soon notice popping up now.
If you have a Clatity, what Honda service center are you taking it to?
The service centers are supposed to have a tech certified to work on a Clarity. Oddly enough the LA area dealer I bought mine from wasn't certified, so I had to take it to one further out.
Any info?
I’m not looking for tourist attractions or mainstream places. I’ve been trying to find a place that’s more secluded and more of a cool and chill vibe ya know? But there doesn’t seem to be any that I’ve seen really. For example stuff like really cool tunnels somewhere with graffiti all over the place, a lake or creek or river no one really knows about, hidden nature trails, abandoned buildings, etc. Just something interesting that would be a dope place to visit. Theres no wrong answers seeing how plain everything around here can be lol. I appreciate any and all feedback Edit: fountain inn, Gray court, five forks, I’ll go wherever if it’s worth it tbh lol
Moving Simpsonville... young professional couple and want to stay closer to Greenville. Any neighborhood recommendations?
Does anyone have any feedback about Bells Creek neighborhood?
418 at forkshoals heading towards Anderson, West Georgia rd towards piedmont, and all roads in between were blocked at 7:45 this morning. Trees down or something?

Anyone know why?

The upstate has grown by leaps and bounds over the years that I have lived here, and many communities have flourished as a result. Unfortunately, table top RPGs have not been one of them. I have been playing D&D and other systems since I was in middle school, when there were very few people in the area interested or even aware of it. Now, I meet people all the time who want to play or want to learn, but don't know anyone else, or have had bad experiences with the only group they know.
I would like to change that by creating a focal point for our nerdy little family. I'd like to be able to coordinate with multiple GMs and players so that you can find a group that has similar schedules, creates a fun atmosphere, and most importantly allows new comers to learn.
With that in mind, I would like to invite you to my Meetup group:https://www.meetup.com/Greenvilles-Nerd-Herder/
We are in the very beginning stages, so it will take some time and effort to really get this ball rolling, but with enough members and excitement, we can make this a labor of love. I am in need of GMs first and foremost, but if you are a player, a newcomer, or if you are just interested in learning more about us, please feel free to contact me through Reddit or Meetup. Our very first Meetup is happening Saturday June 15th!
There are no member fees, and I do not foresee ever having them. I want to be able to include anyone and everyone.
I'd also like to thank r/Simpsonville for letting me reach out to my community on this platform.
FOUND!!!
If you recently received a package containing 3 Canada Hockey Jerseys, that were shipped from China. PM me so I can arrange to ship them to their final destination.
They were supposed to be shipped to Abu Dhabi, UAE but the Chinese manufacturer accidentally sent them to your address in Simpsonville. TIA.
Going to the concert in July, can anyone recommend a good Hotel near the Amphitheatre?
Anyone else going?
Is the theater nice?
Hi All,
My wife and I are getting very close to making an offer in the Neely Farm development. We've done the general research here on Reddit and elsewhere and we've driven the neighborhood... Is their anything specific to Neely Farm that should cause us to pause or reconsider.
We were also looking at areas around the Rudolf Gordon elementary school and around Lake Robinson in Greer. We have one 4 year old daughter and a second on the way so education and community are our top concerns. We would GREATLY appreciate any insider perspectives from the greater Simpsonville community.
Thank you in advance!
