The shoes the girl in the back is wearing lol
I had a pair of Altra Smith boots that I loved but they’ve been discontinued. I’m looking for something similar mostly for the office. These are wider than normal boots to allow the foot to splay. It’s frustrating when you find the perfect boot just to have it discontinued. Much appreciated!
Hi there, I’m on the hunt for a good pair of socks that specifically protect the area just before my toes (the sides, top, and bottom of the forefoot area). I often deal with friction/blisters in this region, especially while wearing heels.
I tried many different types of shoes, sizes and heels and always end up with some type of issues, especially at the beginning, which kinda prevents me from wearing my fave pairs, since they tend to feel uncomfy fast, thus not being able to "break" them in properly.
Any suggestions for specific socks brands or models that have worked for you? I’d especially appreciate recs for retailers available in the EU.
Someone recommended panty hose to me but that's kind of a sensory ick for me so I'd prefer to avoid it, same for "individual" parts (like pads or toe covers), I'm really looking for just socks. tried checking reinforced socks online but I find that pictures don't exactly show the reinforced parts so I'm lost.
Thanks in advance! 😊
Hi, accidently slid into my new shoes and rhis happened. Any tips?
Was riding a motorcycle and accidentally grazed a car tire. There is a small tear now and I’m kinda afraid to wear it thinking it might worsen. These are New Balance 1906’s
I image searched but all I got was Gucci and I don’t think they’re Gucci.
It is so annoying how skinny shoes are! Especially women’s dress shoes it is absolutely impossible to find a good pair of heels that fit comfortably, are cute, and are wide enough. I don’t know why shoe companies even do this, I would say about half if not more of my friends have the same issue so i don’t understand why wide shoes aren’t more common. Anyways, any recommendations for brands that have wider shoes that are actually cute?
i recently bought the ugg classic minis in my usual size (women’s 8) and they were really big on me. big enough for me to slip out the back with each step! i have a few old pairs which were all true to size so i was a little shocked.
i sized down to a women’s 7, but those are really snug. no slipping anymore, but i’m very aware of my toes now. has anyone else had this problem? which pair should i keep?
I hear running shoes are good for standing all day. I currently own the brooks ghost 14, saucony triumph 20 and asics gel kayano 30.
I love them all. The brooks has started to tear up on the front sides pretty badly. I like how neatrual it is though. I feel so nimble in them. The saucony is decent. Great return in energy whenever I have to jog in them quickly to get something I can tell they are great running shoes. The gel kayano 30 are my favorite so far. It feels like I'm wearing a sock with cushion on the bottom!
I work in a food trailer so I'm standing all day. but its on a farm so im constantly walking on grass and gravel. With that being said I get my shoes wet often and then my socks get wet. It would be nice to get shoes that are a little waterproof or something. But not if it means choosing it over a better model suited for standing all day that would perform better then a waterproof model from a different brand.
So right now im looking at the gel nimbus 26 The glycerin gts 21, the adrenaline gts 24.
I've heard about the gel nimbus 26 not being as good as the older models. Anyways I am stuck on what to choose. It would be great to find a good shoe for standing and walking all day that is durable!
I’m a 29 yo man, and I like to dress “well” meaning I value leather shoes with a design. Something I can wear with a Shirt, or even a tie.
But, now:
And I’m starting to get uncomfortable in my leather shoes when I wear them. For example the ones I’m wearing as I write this are too narrow on the front and I feel my fingers are put together in an uncomfortable/unhealthy way.
Sooo, I was wondering if someone in this cool Shoe community has found a brand that focuses on both: Style/design, and a Comfortable/Healthy shoe?
The thoughts, ideas, and information you share are highly valued, Thank You!!!
I've been on the hunt for a pair of classic black combat boots. I have a pair that I wear a lot, but they happen to be knock-offs and the cheaper quality isn't the best for durability. I know Dr. Martens are the go-to boot, but I've also heard that their quality has gone down a lot. If this is true, what's another brand with solid, versatile combat boots?
I just bought Uggs for my daughter and the protector spray left a dark mark on one place on the shoe is this normal and will it go away when it dries? This was the protector spray from the Uggs care kit.
I'm looking for a black and white or solid black sneaker with a 1.5-2" heel (platform), with room enough for slightly wide feet, and arch support. Is that too much to ask for?!
I kid you not. I have tried on over 30 pairs of sneakers, including some of my tried and true brands, like Skechers and Bzees (which I always ordered in medium width) and I am having a very hard time finding shoes that aren't too snug. The ones that aren't too snug have very little arch support. The few sneakers I have found that fit the description and come in wide are always sold out. It's getting VERY frustrating!
Am I going to have to buy men's sneakers now?!
Need help finding closed toed gold heels with a round toe, everything I find is pointed!
