Double checked everything and this is my only issue.
So I’ve never considered myself a “Sneaker-Head” but I’ve worn good Nikes my whole life since I was a tiny kid. I’m now a Financially stable 29 year old who still wears expensive limited Nikes. My question for everyone here is, am I being a dumbass wearing $150+ Nikes daily? Y’all seem to put them on a wall or in something that’ll preserve them. I just wear them. I wear them til they fall apart. I have around 17 pairs of Nikes (most from the past 2 years) that I switch on and off on daily. I wear them to work, Normal day to day activities, and sometimes I’ll be wearing a pair on a spontaneous hike (wore the Witness VII on a 7 mile hike once).
If I’m being dumb, I’m not sorry, these bitches are all so comfy on my feet. And when I spend 8+ hours a day at work running around I tend to lean towards these nice limited pairs of shoes. More-so, I’m just curious how y’all treat your nice sneakers.
Does this have any sort of meaning or is it just a cool design?
So I just started a delivery job and with winter approaching I just bought a pair of the dri fit fitness tights to wear under the shorts I wear. Am I supposed to wear underwear under them? 😂 I’ve never bought leggings before so I was curious what yall do. Thanks 😂
Now I understand that the shoes and the sneakers culture is at its peak in India and this can be very sensitive to those who worship it. Apologies for that, but I hope people read and response logically.
Lately I have been noticing that the prices of the shoes doesn’t make any sense at all. For example, Samba costs ₹10,999. Let’s say even if I agree it’s a good looking shoe, technically it’s nothing revolutionary and uncomfortable from what I have heard, so safe to say it sells on hype and draining the hard earned money of Indian customers providing minimum utility. It’s clearly not a F.P Journe or AP or Patek which can be rare. Literally every other person wears, uniqueness isn’t its element either.
Saw SL72 today and voila another ₹9999 offering by the company, again very beautiful but for god’s sake’s, looks like your old while school shoes had a romance with the glitter or color box.
Then comes the Nike Vomero 15, for ₹14,995 wow! Looks like the Campus or Action footwear from the early 2000s or their Cortez series for ₹8,695 which I think loses the competition vs the Goldstar that is 9-10 times cheaper.
The story goes on with all the other brands doing the same.
It seems like brands are banking on the ‘wanna be’ culture prevailing in India. One could argue, it gives people confidence, sure and I agree it does but doesn’t it make you a laughing stock for all these US and German brands executives sitting in their office or mansions.
And to the highly talented internet influencers🤌🏼
NO SNEAKERS OR SHOES ARE NOT INVESTMENTS. STOP SELLING THAT IDEA TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY.
I got them a while back wore em and noticed that they are different and don’t know if they are real or fake I got them from footlocker so idrk what to do anything helps
I have 9.5 AF1 low, should I get the same size
Thanks in advance.
bold Cash Idea for anybody who's in Nike's think-tank. 85 Jordan 1 shape retros for non retro colors people like. Ex. ,85 Mocha Travis Scott 1s,85 Fragment 1s, 85 Union 1s pack(Storm blue and Black toes), 85 Shattered Backboards. Do a what if ad campaigns set in 1985, like for example,What if Travis Scott was popular in that time as a black punk rocker wearing the 85 cut of his Mocha 1s? Hybeast would go crazy and you know people would break they necks get these pairs for the OG shape alone!PS. SB AJ7 it already uses Hurache neoprene slip on tech to keep feet in place. Add grippy gum sole, slightly thinner mid sole for better board feel, some padding in the collar. For the full first 3peat idea,go SB AJ6,7&8?🤷🏾♂️
I got jordan 1 high unc toe from a reputed reseller and the shoe looks good overall bit there is one small detail. The blue sole has some white spots, like the blue is coming off. Is this a cause for concern?
I need Nike shoes that are comfortable to stand in. I work at Nike, so they must be Nike. Air Maxes hurt my heel so I can’t wear them.
This is a mystery and maybe some of you Nike experts can shed some light on this.
I ordered some black and white Pegasus 41s from Nordstrom. I noticed that they had a much better design than the other Pegasus 41 colors. And I couldn't find the same design on Nike.com.
Based on the photos, the tongue says Nike Pegasus 41. But when checking on Nike.com they have a different design. The upper is the same, but the sides of the sole/cushion is different.
I ordered both the "Black/White/Anthracite" and "White/Black/Pure Platinum" from Nordstrom.com, but I received the same 41s as those pictured at Nike.

These are what I thought I was ordering. I really prefer this cleaner design!
(This retailer has a mix of Pegasus 41 styles too: https://foot-store.com/fd2722-102-running-shoes-nike-pegasus-41-white-white-pure-platinum)
