Dermatologist and General doctor said it is not Herpes. I had tried acyclovir ointment and tablets, Antifungal ointment and tablets, anti bacterial also. No one given best results. Anti fungal triggers itching and pain.

My heart sunk and my body went into shock. I couldn't believe it. I immediately went on Reddit and saw posts claiming that a "reactive" basically means you have HIV and they just need to confirm it.

That same day I went to the hospital for a venous blood test. The nurses reassured me that I shouldn't believe everything that I read online, and that sometimes the tests reactive to things that aren't HIV.

I had an agonizing weekend waiting for the results. My anxiety was through the roof, I was having panic attacks, and barely caught any sleep. I was basically preparing for life with HIV.

I also started to wonder retroactively if I had any warning signs. I did feel groggy over Christmas. Headaches and fatigue. But I'd also been overtraining in the gym and drank a lot of alcohol. I was also wondering if the sex worker knew she had HIV and did this deliberately to infect me!

Anyway, I waited anxiously by the phone all morning. By lunchtime, I received a message from the clinic. My HIV tests had come back negative! I honestly couldn't believe it! I called the clinic straight away to check there wasn't a mistake. The nurse confirmed my results and told me that "false positives" are actually more common than people think. However, she recommended that I come back in a month for another test to exceed the 45-day window.

So, I'm preparing myself for this all over again. I haven't had any sex in the meantime btw. I'm just wondering how reliable was my venous blood test at 29 days?

Hi, me and my girlfriend need some help/advice about her positive HR HPV results. Throwaway account.

Context: We got together about one and a half months ago, she's 29 I'm 27. As the title suggests she had an STD screening at the start of our relationship, unfortunately she has HR HPV (not 16 or 18). We didn't have sex yet, but she pleasured me orally 3-4 times. She's been sexually active for the past 10 or so years with long term partners, she probably got it from her last boyfriend. I'm a virgin.

Anyways, our question would be what should we do about our sexual life? Have read some articles and journals online. Even CDC recommends follow up testing upto 6-12 months for those healthcare workers exposed to both infections.

I would not explain more as to what was my exposure as I am in NO will to live my life ever again, I have done 5 tests consisting of two RNA tests on day 10 and day 20, one 4th gen ab/ag on day 22 and two rapid 4th gen on day 20 and day 32, but somehow went to a different clinic to get a different opinion;

This was only to get myself felt cheated on when the Doctor told me that these pasts tests that I have been taking were not accurate/complete enough and the test in his clinic is much better and full on enough to test for HIV,

Hello, I was diagnosed with Ureaplasma around three weeks ago. I had to take Doxy twice a day for 7 days. After the treatment, I started noticing these weird bumps on my vulva and near my anus. Also, inside my vagina, and on my labia. They're not painful, look white and hard to the touch (the ones outside). Not sure if this is because of the Ureaplasma or something else. Please, help.
