A subreddit in the Safe For Work Porn Network focusing on images of man-made objects in natural settings. A lone cabin on a hill, a bridge on a trail through a forest, the patchwork of fields in a valley, rice paddies on a slope; all are welcome here.
This subreddit serves two purposes: 1) to house content which would be called Rural in the SFWPorn Network style, 2) to provide a proper place for images of man-made objects and constructions in natural settings, and return /r/VillagePorn to villages and villages alone.
If your image would go well in /r/EarthPorn but it has something man-made in it, it goes here. If your image focuses on a man-made object but there is very little or no emphasis on the natural setting, we will remove your submission and ask you to submit it to a more suitable subreddit.
Submission Rules
- Include the location in the title.
- Include the resolution in [brackets] in the title.
- Only submit static images.
- Videos, collections/albums, interactive images/websites, and articles are not allowed.
- Original source is allowed and preferred over the approved hosts. If your submission is not on the list of approved hosts, but it is an original source, please use the tag [OS] so your submission is not removed in error. If your image is rehosted from another approved host it will be removed.
- If you took the photo yourself, you can signify this by using the tag [OC] (original content) and after 24 hours you will be given special flair. If you don't receive flair after a few days feel free to message the mods.

Sportchalet - Murren, Switzerland [1200x630]
The tennis courts at the Sportchalet in Murren are, in my opinion, the most beautiful tennis courts in the world.

Refugio State Beach Palms [OC] [8176x1920]
Panorama of Refugio Beach cove; observing the loss of palms. These palms that line the cove stood like sentinels for nearly 100 years until they began falling about two years ago. Over the course of the last three major storms to hit the Santa Barbara Channel (Jan. 2023, Feb. 2024 & Mar. 2024) the palms have begun falling at an alarming rate.
