I bet Jimjamatic will be pleased to hear this
The House Robots were specifically designed to be characters and even had backstories in the magazine. If they were fully sentient, what would you think their personalities would be?
Jamie mcharg of caley creations was very good a creating replicas of the house robots I.E. shunt dead metal growler and sgt.bash however that gives me an idea a plan and a very good concept To create robot wars competitors from how they looked back in 1999-2000 And here is the list: X-Terminator (red) Panic Attack (yellow) Behemoth (Platinum with Yellow And Black Stripes) Evil Weevil (Black) Fire Storm (Red And Yellow) Killertron (Magenta-Orange) Pussycat (Blue) Stinger (with the pizza cutter meaning that stinger will never stop after 1 slice) And various others of your choice And speaking of which anyone know if nick pritchard brother of Marlon prtichard has the icu and/or original X-Terminator chassis if so then keep me posted

Recently I've been looking around and talking with some mates within the community about tracking down a two-page comic strip from the Robot Was Club. Within it, Refbot, the House Robots and Craig Charles seem to travel to the Moon to square off in an exaggerated version of the Robot Wars Arena against the 'Destructabots'- eviler versions of the House Robots. It was black and white as far as I remember, and came with issue 4 of the Robot Wars Club magazine.
I've been trying to locate physical evidence that this even existed, as while the Robot Wars Wikia says it did under their Robot Wars Club section, there are no images whatsoever of the comic strip. Does anyone know of this strip at all, and if at all possible, do you somehow have the comic?
So, my friend is a huge fan of Robot Wars and asked me to watch it with her some time ago. We started with The Fifth Wars as it's her favorite and plan to go all the way to the end of the reboot (we are currently in the early heats of The Seventh Wars) before circling back to the first four series, and then we're watching Battlebots and the other robot combat shows.
Having seen two series of the show I'm a fan! I like how many different weapons and builds are featured across the competitors, as well as the dynamics of the team being shown in the interviews before and after matches. Furthermore, I love the insane enthusiasm in Jonathan's commentary, it's a perfect fit for the show. Craig and the various pit reporters are also awesome, though Jonathan relentlessly hamming it up makes him my favorite of the main people on the show.
As for my favorite robots, in no particular order: Hypno-Disc, Bigger Brother, Dantomkia, Wheely Big Cheese, and 259. I know these are all spinners and flippers, but even if they weren't I just genuinely love all their designs. I also love Panic Attack, which is half design and half Kim Davies being a really good driver.
Forgive the ramble, I just wanted to get my thoughts out somewhere that would understand. If you have any questions about what I feel about a specific robot, or anything else, please do feel free to ask! =)
