Paintings, drawings, frescoes and other 2D images are preferred, but well photographed objects or buildings of historical interest also allowed. With each image you should provide a name, date and historical importance of the image.

Also, due to the nature of paintings instead of photography, remember that nothing in the painting will be a completely historically accurate depiction of an event. This is why it's important to provide any context you think would make the painting's historical significance more clear.
