ITEM MUST HAVE A STORY YOU MUST POST A LINK TO EBAY IF THE POST IS ABOUT THE ITEM

Are you an active Redditor who happens to have an Ebay account? If you've had an account here for over 1 month than you can post your Ebay listing HERE! You can also ask questions for advice.

ITEM MUST HAVE A STORY

Are you an active Redditor who happens to have an Ebay account? If you've had an account here for over 1 month than you can post your Ebay listing HERE!

Here you can post more about the item than you can (or should) on ebay. This means you can(should) tell the listing's story.

Is that the heart shaped mug your ex bought you?

Did a grandparent pass and leave you a house full of stuff you're not attached to?

Were you just fooling around at a flee market and found it next to the guy still selling cassette tapes for $2 a piece (every flee market has one)

Or did you buy a broken beat up old chair and r/diy it into something awesome?

If so you are free to tell the tale here that you can't tell on ebay.

RULES

Do not post spam.

Do not spam.

Don't spam.

If you have posted your link already you can not do so again.

Don't post auctions no sane person will buy, Aka no, your box set of season 3 Scrubs is not worth $100,000.

This is not for spamming your auctions and begging people to check it out. Your title should include the name of the listing at the very least.

Do not rapid post. Try not to post more than 1 auction here every half hour.

The format you should use should be a title and in the text tell the story about your item. Please provide the link to your active listing IN THE TEXT. This can be in the beginning, end, or even middle.

You do not have to talk about a specific item but if your post is not referring to an item you CANNOT JUST LINK YOUR WHOLE PROFILE and try and get people to view the whole thing. Yes, you can talk about items you have not listed yet and are planning to list, but when you list it please come back and edit the text to include the link to the listing. This is good for bragging or asking general questions about an item.

how much can I flip this for?

It's a set of dishware from the golden age of pottery in the Vallauris region in France. Each piece is signed...

How much would you pay for this? is 500 too low? too high? I saw that some people are willing to pay around a thousand for a single bowl but I don't wanna store these forever. I live in a fairly small place. But I do love money. :P

I was at a garage sale when I found them, I just needed cheap dishware and bought the whole set. Neither I not the seller seemed to know what these were and I didn't even buy the whole thing. Only a set of 6 of each. Turns out they are highly collectible... But it's hard to find a buyer... or maybe I just don't know where to go.

What do you guys think?

Edit: These things are really stressing me out. I feel like I'm losing money. But I wanna sell them. I hate thinking about this. It's literally tormenting me. x.x

My chef knows I sell on ebay, he asked me to sell something for him and I made a nice profit.

So my phone has the ebay app installed on it. And whenever I get a bit/ purchase on an item I listed It makes a cha-ching noise as if a register opened. Its kinda funny.

Anyways, I was in my bakeshop class one day and it kept buzzing. I had a bit war going on. Eventually he was wondering why I kept ringing and I explained how I sell things on ebay for a few extra bucks and how in 2016 I made 1700 on ebay. He thought that was cool.

Anyways, a few months go by and 2 weeks ago is where we land. He brings in this Sony dvd direct device and asks if I can sell it. I looked at it, literally considering it crap. all it does was copy videos/ photos to a disc w/o the use of a pc. But to be chill, and ideally impress him that I tried, I said yes.. I took it home. Researched it, and found something similar which sold for 125. So I listed it for 125 at 7 days.

I left the listing up and basically forgot about it. However, Sunday morning I got cha-chinged and found a bit was placed for 125. In addition, I charged 22.00 for shipping.

The bid ended and I got paid almost 150. The deal was I get half so I took out the shipping costs and then gave my chef 60$. He was stoked. He didn't expect it at all. I loved how his reaction was. Same with our lab assistant. She was very much surprised and thought it was cool.

After I paid him, he had asked If I could show him how to sell on ebay. lol ;D

He also mentioned to me he would let me sell an industrial Chocolate melting pot that he got years ago. This item I have absolutely no idea how to search, but once I get hold of it Ill do my best.

This item is my favorite item i've sold so far, not because of the price I got. But the story for how/ why I sold it ;D Thanks for reading!

Found this for $2 at Salvation Army, sold it for $60! As a budding flipper this was very encouraging

I used to look for cartridges and really old games only at first, thinking that ps2 & xbox games were pretty much worthless, but those are super rare so I stopped ignoring the ps2 & xbox titles and started looking up the values on www.gamevaluenow.com while in the store. I've found that the majority of sports games are pretty worthless as well as most racing games & very common titles(guitar hero, ace combat, CABELA). Usually I'll look up the games that I've never heard of before and find that they're worth something.

Here's the sold listing for Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis: http://imgur.com/VFoHURs

Other solid recent finds: Super Smash bros. Melee - Sold for $40 & a gamecube controller

Def Jam Vendetta: Fight for NY - $25 on Craigslist

Army Men: RTS - $17.25 on ebay

Each cost me about $2. Also Salvation Army has 25% student discounts on Thursdays, at least in Michigan, picked up a ps2 for $23 instead of $31 using this discount :). Good luck out there fellow flippers!

So about a month ago I bought an old football game from the 60's. To my surprise I found 4 AA batteries (drained) and sold them for a profit ;D

so basically I buy some shit at good will. I found this cool looking board game for a football and i noticed it sold on ebay before for 20$. I paid 3$ so it was worth a shot. I got it home and deconstructed it to start fixing the electronics and found 4 basically mint batteries inside. The listing is below. and as I type this there is only 6 minutes left on the auction. But I find it cool that I was able to at least get 1 bid for .99. Hopefully that person has an appreciation for 60's batteries. http://www.ebay.com/itm/282023982302?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Rare Barenaked Ladies Tapes found at a Really Really Free Market

Unsealed: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262414911551?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Sealed: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262414924392?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Description:

Artist: Barenaked Ladies

Label: Page Productions

Year: 1991

This is a rare tape from BNL before they were signed to a major label!

This cassette is sealed and has never been opened. There is some writing on the front packaging.

Tracks:

  1. Be My Yoko Ono

  2. Brian Wilson

  3. Blame It On Me

  4. If I had $1000000

  5. Fight The Power

Story: Last fall, I attended a Really Really Free Market in my area and picked two of these up - one sealed, one unsealed. The Free Market was really fun - tons of cool stuff and cool people!

These tapes have sold on eBay for $15-$50, so I'm hoping I can make a little something. Sadly, I have 0 feedback and poor quality webcam pics, so they might not go. I'll see what happens!

Lovely red Patagonia fleece-lined leather boots! Probably my best score yet.

These boots were sitting outside of the apartment next to mine. One of the tenants, who may or may not still live there, spent the warmer months ranting angrily about everything and anything. I could never really tell what he was ranting about; I could only tell that he was angry.

So when I saw these boots sitting out on garbage day, I was a bit reluctant to check them out. What if The Ranter came out? What would I do? They looked like nice boots in excellent condition, so I decided to grab them. If they weren't to my taste, I could just put them back and someone else could have them.

I wasn't expecting them to be so nice! Patagonia -- an expensive brand -- with only a few scuffs. Beautiful red leather with a warm fleece lining. Size 8.5. I would've kept them for myself, but I couldn't get them on. I hope they sell! I only wish I had something better than a webcam to use for taking photos.

My first auction - Crabtree & Evelyn - Indian Sandalwood Duo shaving cream & aftershave set - won this in a contest!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/262404252711?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

So, this pretty set has been sitting in my closet for at least eight months. I got into entering contests as a hobby, and ended up winning this! I was pretty thrilled, as it was one of my first wins. I figured the scent would be a bit too strong for me, and I know this brand is well-liked by lots of people.

After spending many weeks trying to figure out how to get a 15-year-old digital camera to work with Windows 10, I gave up and used the webcam on another computer to take pictures. So, they're not good at all. I don't have enough money to buy a smartphone. :P

It would be nice if this sold, but since I don't really know what I'm doing, I have no expectations. :)

EDIT: Price lowered to $20; Buy it Now Price: $40

[Question] What clothes do you look for when thrift shopping?

I've never bought clothes to make a profit off of, however im pressed for money at the moment and wouldn't mind learning the ways around the clothes at goodwill or other pawnshop type places.

I 3d printed a lightsaber which turned out to look like a dildo. Until you paint it. $25.99

So I 3d print things for my youtube channel, and then paint them. This lightsaber was my first print that I painted for the channel. The original plan was to print out 2 of these bad boys. The first one I painted, and you can see one photo of it on the listing. The second one I was going to case in aluminum. However, thats going to cost too much for me at the moment to build a forge and then cast it all. So instead, I through it up for auction and it got a bid almost instantly. Which really through me off to be honest because I didn't expect anyone to bid on it so soon.

I mentioned that it lookes falic, and it does now. Seeing that I printed it with a flesh colored plastic. However, you cant tell when its painted. The only reason im selling it soo high is so that I can share whatever profit with the designer.

HERE IS MY LIGHTSABER LISTING

Here is the video if anyone is intersted
