a user comment '*ick picks' caused this post to get a mature content warning. Is it that easy to censor a post on Reddit?

Post Troubles atrocities - putting me off Sinn Fein

I voted SF in the elections and have always defended them against people who bring up the actions of the PIRA during the Troubles.

However, I’ve recently been put off them by reading about incidents post GFA such as the murder of Robert McCartney and Paul Quinn. I know SF did not do this directly but they surely know the perpetrators of many of these attacks but don’t give evidence on them.

I understand keeping silent on attacks on military forces during the conflict but if they ever want to get more support then they need to be willing to go against these absolute scumbags who do things like this, these guys are gangsters as opposed to patriots.

Last year, these are the kinds of numbers SF would have been looking at in every constituency. Depressing.
