Living in a major city with what I'm assuming is a pretty active pokemon go player base... Feels really hard as Team Instinct.
I'm new (just started actually playing in mid november), so I'm sure a lot of it is lelarning curve, but man...
I take a weak gym, and way too offten within 10-20 minutes it's taken back and full of 2-4 Mystic or Valor almost instantly.
Just this morning, there were two low health Pokemon in one of the gyms next to my work, so I hopped in and started taking it. Well, right as I was finishing my last battle and knocked the final Pokemon out, another trainer jumped in and healed the whole gym while I was still in the battle. So I healed up, sat down to grind the three full health Pokemon... and now there are four.
It also feels like any time I do manage to take a gym, I rarely get more than two or three people to join me, which usually means I get half a day at most.
It's a little better in the residential neighborhoods, as there is less foot traffic/activity than downtown where I work, but it's still a slog of walking past a dozen Valor/Mystic gyms before I find one I can hop onto, if I even ever do. 90% of the gyms I encounter are ones I have to take.
I have a good idea where another Instinct trainer lives (or works) as I usually find a gym or two in the same area, so if I am not in a rush home I can detour and jump in. But that's really been the only beacon of light in this whole thing.*
So far I've been able to get 50 coins an average of every other day, but it feels like so much work. Being that the game sorta depends on coins (incubators, max revives, etc.), should I consider changing teams?
Is there any upside to Team Instinct, or is it just masochism for masochism's sake?
^(*ps, anyone know how I can add someone from a gym? there doesn't seem to be a mechanism for this but I wish there was)
(for some reason this was removed from r/pokemongo and r/thesilphroad, trying here)
Does anyone know the context behind "Battle-Only Form: This Pokémon can change form in battle?" Does it change type during battle? Evolve?
The first egg I hatched this event. I didn’t even get to see it hatch I only noticed because the research task was completed
Do most people power them up during the morning or evening?
I am curious if anyone has been warned/banned for playing multiple accounts. Seen online and in person of people holding many devices while raiding. Personally I am tempted to create just one more account with my other device since I don’t really have any friends to trade with and trading is such a crucial feature of pokemon go. However I an scared of getting banned and would like to know the likelihood of getting banned.
How much energy will we get when completing the raid? I want to calculate how many raids I have to do to be able to fuse but I can’t seem to find this information anywhere. Thanks for any help!
She is dead angry but also a dead freak.
funny tbh
Currently unable to decide on who to double move out of my top mons, the one’s crossed out are already double moved. So who would I get the most value out of double moving?
Super happy! 😄😄😄
As someone with Gallade as a favorite, very hyped for Dual Destiny
I hope it comes back every year, the £12 was low-key worth it ::)
