This is for a school assignment, I’m looking to better understand this religion and the culture surrounding it!
How did you become involved in Paganism?
What are some of the values associated with Paganism?
What practices/rituals are performed?
Are there any dietary restrictions?
How does your religion impact your daily life?
Have you faced any discrimination because of your religion?
Because Paganism doesn’t follow one singular god, is there a god that you worship/value more than others and why?
How has paganism changed/evolved overtime? Have these changes affected the way people view Paganism now as opposed to the past.
What are some of the main ideologies of Paganism?
Are there any traditional garments you are required to wear? If so, what are they called? When do you wear them?
How does the view society has on Paganism impact your ability to practice? And does society's negative view impact your own?
What are some misconceptions of Paganism you wish more people knew?

Hi all, my name is Lindsey. I have been practicing Paganism for about five years now. I am also a psychology doctoral student. My doctoral research is on our community and our experiences as Pagans. Below is a link to my survey. It takes about 20 minutes and is completely anonymous. If you could please take it, I would greatly appreciate it. You are welcome to participate if outside the US, but will need to put your country instead of state.

Hello, I am a graduate student at Pennsylvania State University in the Social Psychology area. I am currently researching non-Western ways of knowing nature, specifically animism. The current research involves developing a scale of animism to use in future research. The long-term goal of the research is to create a transformative, experiential learning program to help engage people with new ways of viewing and relating to the natural world. This is part of a larger aim to de-center humans in nature education. For more information, please refer to the study overview, which outlines the background of the research and the primary researcher’s ethical considerations.
To develop the scale of animism, we are seeking feedback from animists on our definition of animism, the scale as a whole, and the scale items.
The research focuses primarily on Pagan and philosophical constructs of animism; however, these forms of animism are entangled with Indigenous animisms and risk appropriating or romanticizing Indigenous cultures. Therefore, we are seeking feedback from Pagan, philosophical, and Indigenous animists.
Eligibility criteria:
- Is 18 years of age or older
- Has proficiency in reading and writing English
- Considers themselves to be an animist

From The Guardian US: A photo feature highlighting several fringe sects in California that flourished during the 70s. The decline or disappearance of some has taken place as the mainstream culture has accepted such views more widely.
As a Northern Californian involved in popular occulture from my teen-aged years, I am familiar with most of these groups. They provoked my curiosity about spirituality, the paranormal, and human spirituality. Favorites--Isis Oasis (close to home and volcanic), I AM (Mt. Shasta), Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum (Rosicrucians close to home !?!), and Krotona (Theosophy lives in Cali!).

From Techwalla: A Canadian non-profit has created an app that can be searched according to location and shows the indigenous people who lived there, and perhaps still do. The map covers much of the world. The map uses layers to reveal overlapping regions of occupancy. The Techwalla article includes a link to the map/IOS and Android app, called Native Land.
Quite informative.
