long story short, my boyfriend who I had been dating since October last year went missing two months ago. I know he is struggling with addiction issues and became homeless. Couldn't do a lot for him since we live in different cities right now. I've always felt this strong bond to him, and sometimes id think about him and would be able to picture him doing something specific and then id ask him about it turns out he actually was. When he went missing I lost this ability. I know he is not ghosting me, i don't even know if he is alive. i have checked death records and nothing, but something in me tells me things aren't okay...is there any way i can communicate with him telepathically. even if he's not with us anymore

For whatever reason, my family has always been very casual about death. Probably bc we're healthcare workers and we have to be. Or maybe it's bc my grandfather was on the cemetery committee and he took us with him when we were kids and we would play hide and seek behind the headstones. The idea of death and dying was never taboo or scary.

But when I started the craft, I realized that the cemetery is a place that provides me with peace and calm. I don't have any of the clares (that's I've honed or know about) but it really is my place. At some point I felt that I should make sure I'm being respectful when I go. (and to clarify, this is my family cemetery, not a random one). I researched and found that it's respectful to leave offerings to the guardian when going into sacred or hallowed ground. So I've been leaving coins on the brick wall that's at the entrance as an offering (which is a little strange as it's a small mennonite cemetery lol).

Is this the correct practice? I deal mostly with elements and hearth and home so I'm not overly versed in death or ancestral work. Obviously, my main goal is to be as respectful as possible when going into a cemetery for all the spirits that reside there. I live in PA so there's not a lot of regional practices that go on up here.

I typewrite a lot. Sometimes I typewrite things to myself to keep with me that will help me. Recently I typed a letter essentially professing how much I love someone and how much I value them as a person. But this wasn't a letter I was going to actually give to them, nor something I wanted to keep, it was just something I wanted to write, and now that I'd written it I'd just burn it. Not for any particular reason, I just like burning words for some reason. Thing is I was high and didn't think about fire hazards when I rolled it up and dropped it in a little Strawberry Shortcake candle and the flames just grew bigger and more dramatically until I was genuinely nervous and extinguished the candle.

Later I pried the rolled up letter out of the wax and just didn't bother with it for a while. But weeks later I'm still wondering if there's any sort of insight to be pulled from this? The letter is charred but also somehow protected and sealed in by wax and I can even see two of the blue paper lines peaking through. I don't really know anything about candle wax symbolism but it seems very meaningful somehow.

I'm trying to fo a banishing spell but I don't know how far exactly to put it. Is far just to mean a place you don't go often or...?

I haven't seen a question like this on this subreddit and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere so maybe someone here can help. I recently did a manifestation spell (relocation to a new country); wrote my manifestation on a piece of paper, folded it towards myself, added the appropriate herbs to my cauldron, and took it all outside to burn under the full moon while envisioning my manifestation had already come true. My only question comes from the paper not continuing to burn, it took a couple of times to burn it completely to ash. The flame would start bright and high, then slowly die out and reduce to a smolder. The burn never completely stopped, just died down a touch.

I don't expect this manifestation to come true in a short amount of time, I'm just an ADHD witch and saw the full moon as an opportunity for a power boost while it was on my brain. Maybe this affected the results?

I know there's a difference with the flames in candle divination, but what about paper? Has anyone had this type of experience and still manifested what they asked for?

Woke up and the first thing I smelled was a very strong beautiful scent of roses even tho there are none around me currently. I’ve been reading a little about it and some say it means a loved one has passed or that a god/angel is trying to communicate with you. Hi everyone. I’m new to “witchcraft” but realized I’ve been doing incantations, energetic work, and moon worship my whole life. I’m now trying to educate myself to enhance what’s always felt natural to me and have more understanding. I made some moonwater last night but didn’t have time to meditate with the moon and see what I felt. I didn’t even realize it was a lunar eclipse last night! Does moon water on a lunar eclipse change anything? I’m trying to do some energetic work to send peace and justice and transmutation for some animals that I’m trying to help that have been severely abused. However, I have heard that there are a lot of dangers associated with them and that working with them is not recommended, while others say that there are a ton of rules to follow which makes me second guess my decisions. So I had a dream that I was in my house with my life partner getting ready for work I was actually wearing tge outfit I planned for today and then magically we ended up in my parents back yard. And we were going inside and I accidentally forgot my phone on the other side of the house and when we turned around to go get it the backyard started to fill up with water and I couldn't reach my phone anymore. My s/o and I where standing on a dock of sorts and he could easily step from dock to land to go get my phone so he did but when he stepped of the dock it began to float away and I drifted to the side of the house and he said it's okay but I'm gonna have to swim to you. And I could see alligators on the bottom of the water where grass used to be and before I could say anything the doc flipped and I was in the water and there was a lot of noise so the two alligators (one was behind him and one behind me) started to swim towards me and I frantically tried to get back on top of the dock but couldn't then my s/o was magically next to me again he was holding my hand and said "common let's get out of here" and then the alligators approaches us I ended up getting pulled underwater but for some reason I could breath underwater. And I got pushed back up and the alligators where originally coming to get us but they ended up fighting each other but before my s/o and I could get out if the water I woke up and I was okay I was next to my lover I hugged him I told him I had a bad dream and I plugged my phone in and hugged him again and we went back to sleep. Does anyone have any interpretations of this dream? Does anyone know what it might mean? If it means anything my dads house is a source of trauma and often a setting of my dreams.

Hi! I’m going to do some love spells on wednesday (easter here in sweden) and I was wondering if I could do it in a forest and ask the forest spirits for help and offer some coins to them. I’m going to bury the spell in the forest when I’m done (I’m going to do an apple love spell and candle spell). Is that okay or is it disrespectful or bad?

EDIT: Since it’s full moon today, I’m thinking of doing some cord cuttings and lemon spell to remove any existing third parties. Can I do them in the forest or is that better to do at home?

I got followed by a tiktok account @key.guidance but it was a backup account (there’s around 30) she told me I needed a reading 2 months ago I but I denied, then I got followed by another backup account saying the same thing and I said ok I’ll try it since I never did one before.

I sent her $20 and she typed out a reading saying a bunch of good things then ended up saying I needed to pay $185 to remove a hex or negative spirit put on me and it must be done immediately.

Right away I felt it was a scam and insisted on her calling me to prove it’s actually the girl from the main TikTok account or to send any proof that it’s her like a picture or a voice memo. She kept avoiding it saying how she’s my “godsent” and that she only does it over iMessage. Now I was 100% positive it was a scam and stopped messaging her.

Well last night she went on to say if I didn’t do it that I would be killed and how it was going to happen if I didn’t pay her and I started freaking out a bit because I’ve never even received a reading but can someone tell me if this is bs or not cause it’s very uncomfortable to hear. What can I do to protect myself. I can’t believe the evil lengths she went just to make money off of me.

I had been planning a full moon spell for a couple weeks now. I had all the ingredients lined up, and written the perfect incantation. My initial intention was to preform it outside under the full moon at its peak fullness. Mother nature decided to be windy and cold so I opted to preform it sitting at my back door where if I cracked it open I could see the moon.

Everything was going great, I could feel the Magick flowing and then the cat pushed the door open and bolted. I had to stop mid ceremony to chase down the cat. It took several minutes to sorta get back into it, but I never did fully recover my flow. Even then she kept messing with me.

I guess I'll have to see if it took and if not try again on another full moon.

I just got some wild Turkey tail mushrooms that I foraged and was wondering if anyone knew if they had any use in spells/spell bottles/charms/etc. and if so, how do I prepare them? Yesterday my grandmother gave me Hyacinthus which she took from her village. I put it in a cup with water. So yes, the flower will dry at some point as there's no dirt below it for its roots. The dream included a wolf that likely I could control or did it attack me - I am not sure. Then came some distorted looks of characters from movies and even the film that I watched just yesterday! I am not sure if these were several dreams or one, but there were some romantic parts in all that.

Today I looked at the flower and thought that it might be Venusian, so I checked Cunningham's description and it confirmed my thoughts.

My home is a spiritual chaotic mess. Felt like I have some sort of portal or something ever since I've moved here 6 years ago. - Current day, I've always struggled with hoarder tendencies. I've finally decided to deep clean, properly organize, and donate stuff i dont need. - I also struggle with self image, and im not in the best health. I also decided to make a health change: strict diet, exercise, etc.

(To the point:) Ever since I started this new journey, I've had this feeling of a spirit lingering over my shoulder while I clean or exercise. It's a heavy, not positive feeling. I'm a medium, but still developing my full potential. I can usually see the spirits that get this active, but I can't see this one.

I havent saged my home in a while, and all my spiritual items are put away until I clear the space they are going to go. I'm worried about cleansing and setting up protection stones with the activity being so high and questionable. I don't want to anger them and just make it worse, but I also don't want this "stalker" feeling (and a series of bad luck) I get while I clean and continue to better myself.

What would everyone suggest? I'm still learning the practice, but im confident in my talents. I do have a couple spiritual friends, but I dont think they'll want to take on this challenge 😅 I'll ask if that's the best suggestion

I’d like to start working with my third eye more. I have very strong intuition already. I want to work up to seeing auras and perhaps finding a spirit guide, and experiencing the spirit world a bit more.

I am German, English, Aztec, Spanish, and Italian in descent, so I would love to work with anything from those cultures. And connect with my ancestors more.

My family and I had a really awful falling out last year, I got into a physical altercation with my uncle whom is an abusive drug addict and was making threats towards me, he was being extremely verbally abusive and it escalated to physical. He threatened to blow my brains out and said a myriad of other awful things. Then he tried to lock me out of the house and called the cops on me. I spoke to the police and they tried to get me to press charges and I didn’t. They forced him to leave. I defended myself against him accordingly and my family pretty much disowned me. They didn’t bother asking me what was said and what happened. I had a drinking problem at the time so they assumed I was just being a drunk and I wasn’t drunk that night. They don’t know he keeps an 8ball of meth on him at all times. They listened to all the lies he spun and I didn’t really have the energy to defend myself. Anyways I’m pretty much isolated in my city outside of my boyfriend. I moved here to be close to family and now I don’t have anyone. I really want to use my practice to alleviate some of the pain and shame and betrayal I’m feeling. But I’m not sure how to go about this. I’ve spent the last year on nothing but self improvement. I’m sober, I’m in therapy, I’m going to college and completely acing my classes, I have a boyfriend that loves me dearly. But I still feel like a disposable piece of garbage. I feel completely unlovable and worthless. My self esteem has plummeted significantly. I’m not sure how to weed through all of this. Any advice on rituals I could do to put myself back in the right head space? Something to help me find my self worth again? I want my mojo back! Thanks for reading.

I had a thought today and wanted to share it. It's been raining on and off in my area and I've been trying to collect a bit of rain water for spells and such, but it's slow going since it hasn't been raining much. But as I was also planning on setting my moon water out as I do every month, something occurred to me.

In a nutshell (or at least in my practice), Moon water is water you set out in the moonlight with the intention of it being imbued with the Moon's energy. Sun water is water you set out in the sun to catch the sun's energy. Who's to say that Storm water can't just be regular water you set out during a thunderstorm with the intention of it absorbing the energy of the storm, rather than rain water collected from the storm?

Same concept, different energy. What are your thoughts on this?

Side note, if you collect rain water, do you catch the stuff that runs off your roof or try to catch it directly from the sky so you don't get roof bits in it?

But out the crystals, oil, and water. Gave it a razzle dazzle of offerings and some incense. Chiefing it up with my spirit team. They say not to make eclipse water, but to hell with that. Not part of my culture
