I want to buy a house in Oshawa and start a family. What neighbourhoods/areas should I avoid? I want my kids to be able to play outside. As I understand central Oshawa is a spawn point for druggies and homeless, but what else should I be aware of?

This is a long shot, My car was stolen a couple years back and the woman who did was from around Oshawa/Bowmanville. My jacket was in my car which happened to also be the jacket of my deceased father. I had a very special beaded pins attached to this jacket and I’m hoping someone in the area has maybe seen it. We have all had experiences where we witness something that makes us go, wow, tht person os overcompensating. Well, leaving the OCaround 4:45 today I heard the loudest revving I have ever heard, in the covered lot near Indigo. This older Ford pickup had the biggest small d%@k energy I have ever witnessed. They revved several times, drowning out all other noise, and causing people to yell out the first time, as it was shocking to the system. He was behind me at one point as I exited the lot, and proceeded to keep revving while behind me before peeling out across the parking spots only to end up behind me again at a stop sign. I had never heard anything like this truck before. My husband even called out the micro D energy this guys was putting out. Anyone else hear this guy?

Hi, I was hit early morning as a pedestrian in front of oshawa hospital on new year's day.The person stopped (slowly and a distance away from where I landed) I had rolled into lanes that oncoming traffic would occupy as soon as the lights changed. There was a lady in the bus shelter that witnessed what happened and made sure the guy stopped and that the oncoming traffic didn't hit me while I crawled to the sidewalk (I guess I was taking too long because one car had to start going before I even got out of the road.) She also came to check on me a made sure 911 was called. I would love to find her if anyone knows about this or her, I believe she is unhoused and was staying in the bus shelter that night. To the people in their warm cars, who didn't help, check on me, make sure I wasn't hit again...what I felt laying on the cold pavement, waiting for people who never came, I hope you never experience. I will still be a person that serves my community, and cares, and I am so thankful for that angel of a lady who held me together that day, but to see so many people not care at all, and be mad at having to wait, was disturbing. I hope if your families were hurt like that, people would do better for them

I have nothing to fault with the store. Possibly the lack of manners with people in there. That is all over.

But where I thought the Rossland Square is the worst parking in Oshawa, it is. But Sky Farm lot, has the least skilled moronic drivers in the area. So obvious how many of them literally paid for that card in their wallet that shouldn't be operating a motor vehicle.

Anybody know what happened in Panchvati today? I saw a bunch of uniformed people, looked like immigration officers or police checking employees for credentials. Did Trumps immigration policy started in Canada too? I heard one of the officers say that a Deportation letter would be issued for one of the employees. What gives?
