Hi!
Are there any indoor places in Oshawa or the surrounding area?
I hope it’s okay to ask here. Just need somebody that knows more about these things in my area.
I’ve been dealing with the aftermath of a house fire and I want to know how I can go about seeking help from my community. However, I myself am not well versed with social media and I know how much quicker and easier it would be if I were.
Please let me know.
Thank you
Hi everyone, I'm looking to see if someone has a spare sheet or strip of plywood maybe 6 feet long. I have to bring my motorcycle inside this year and I have about 7 steps I need to get down, any advice or help is appreciated.
Hey guys,
I live in Oshawa and I work in Bowmanville. By car its like a 15-20 minute drive, by bus it's an hour to an hour and a half. I don't have car so I have been relying on the bus. I haven't been able to find a job in Oshawa, and I don't think I will ( this job is minimum wage, and my long term goal is to graduate uni).
My transportation costs are not good right now. I budgeted out $150 a month for transportation. $120 for the bus pass, and then an extra $30-$40 for the go bus because I work the closing shift. If my shifts starts at 1pm I have to be on the bus by 11:30am and truthfully I do not have the discipline. I keep missing buses, or rushing to get on the bus. And my night shifts the last bus comes at 10:50 ish, and I am rushing to close so I can catch the bus and I'm honestly stressed out and I don't feel like I am having good interactions with the customers.
So, realistically how much do you guys think it would cost for me to get someone to pick me up and drop me off? Like I said, it's about a 15-20 minute drive both ways and I work 4-5 days a week. My shifts are usually 1pm-10pm on the weekdays, on the weekends it's usually 12:30pm-8pm or 1pm-6pm. I occasionally get 11am-5pm or 9am-6pm. I live near the Oshawa centre area for reference. and from there like I said it's a 15-20 minute drive on the highway to get to my work place. If anyone is interested please feel free to comment or DM.
LET IT IN. This is insanity. It is FREEZING. This happens every single night from 7 pm and I've heard it as late as 3 am and the entire time between. This dog is out every night nonstop barking. It must hate it's life. I can ignore the noise that's not my problem it's the pain behind it. How do you do this to an animal?!!?!
Can anyone speak to whether one is better than the other?
Is the North one way less busier? Does it have more products cause the store is bigger? And etc.
I heavily dislike using regular paper for sewing patterns, but I have no other options currently. I'm wondering if there is anywhere that will print on the special sewing pattern paper stuff!
Any help would be nice :) Even suggestions for cheaper paper to trace onto would be awesome!!
I am having to look into a side gig. Probably weekends and maybe a weeknight. Either of the food delivery systems, what is involved? Costs etc. What is the pay like? Is it worth it. I am asking in this forum as I am in Oshawa and looking at the specific market.
I know I can look online, but anecdotal evidence would be appreciated
Currently setting up an incorporation as a consultant. New to this, looking for CPA in this region.
Growing up we just called it broken bridge, but I don't believe it to be a bridge at all anymore. Maybe a mill foundation?
It's along the creek just off of Harmony. Close to Ridge Valley Park.
Hi folks,
Can someone recommend a provider to plow my driveway this winter season. In Newcastle/Newtonville area.
Does anyone else have no power in Northern Oshawa?
Whats the bestest massage in oshawa
Where to get Prescription glasses the cheapest in and around Oshawa?
I doubt the assholes who are responsible will see this but to the 2 guys who decided to stroll up my driveway, go into my backyard and steal my bf's bike and bong I hope you get uncontrollable shits whenever you are stuck in traffic.
The bike is whatever (enjoy the no brakes!) but the bong has sentimental meaning to him. His bestfriend gave that to him and she recently passed away....also before anyone comes at me about "why was the bong outside to begin with" bullshit he took it outside this morning and left it back there because he was going to be out there again not long after.
If you are responsible for this (Simcoe and Rossland area) please just return the bong.
Does anybody know any stores in Oshawa that would sell a loosie? I had a few in whitby but now it’s too that to commute
