The unholy intersection of psych rock, doom and retro heavy metal. Sing praise to Lucifer.

Occult Rock originated thanks to the likes of Black Sabbath and Coven in the late 60s/early 70s who combined psychedelic rock with occult themes.

In recent times there has been a revival movement of such sounds, fronted by bands such as Ghost, Jex Thoth, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, The Devils Blood, Blood Ceremony and many more. Trad doom and retro-metal is closely tied to this scene and is welcome here.

Is crumblingtomb legit ? They don't look like they are

EDIT : their website still sucks, BUT I received all items I've ordered, so my doubts are cleared now

I'd like you guys opinions (or even better, experience) with www.crumblingtomb.com

All the item descriptions are the same, its a sloppy job. Does't pass the smell test to me e.g.

https://www.crumblingtomb.com/product-page/cd-into-space-and-out-of-reach

https://www.crumblingtomb.com/product-page/cd-preparing-lucifers-arrival

All items, the CMS readme. I wanted some Assassination CDs.

experiences, thoughts ?

Any more occult classic rock bands, especially like Black Widow?

I’ve been eating up late 60’s-early 70’s occult rock lately. I’ve gone through Black Widow, Coven, Jacula, and Lucifer’s Friend (not super occult rock anyway but the name came up in my search).

More specifically, the album Sacrifice by Black Widow is an absolute monster. It’s one of the best albums I’ve ever heard and I am hungry for more like it

Iron Blanket - Astral Wanderer

Iron Blankets Debut album "Astral Wanderer"

Mammoth fuzz riffs, rhythmic choruses and dark psych soundscapes, inspired by occult worship imagery and barren outback landscapes

The Jacula website says there were three albums released that I can’t find

Hello all, hoping this is the right sub for this question. I’m just starting my journey of going through the Jacula/Antonius Rex discography. Wikipedia says his last albums were Pre Viam (2011 under the name Jacula) and Hystero Demonopathy (2012 under Antonius Rex). I have these albums and am ready to end the discography on them.

Interestingly, the Jacula website says, when you look at the discography section, that they released a “Mystic Voices” in 2017, “Leges Non Audit” in 2018, and In Sanguine in 2019. I can’t find any info on these albums online or on soulseek. Do they not exist? Just need to make sure I don’t miss anything
