My friends and I recently got together and decided we wanted to compete in the Open Division. We decided that the best route to take was to start a new team and thus Salem Wizards (previously iconic) was born.

We are a young, laid-back, but competitive diamond-ranked team based in California trying to get better at the game and have fun doing so. We’re looking for a few more members to fill in the gaps in our team in order to compete in the Open Division.

So, what're we looking for in a coach? Honestly, we're not really in a place to make demands, cause we're not providing any salaries, but:

Hello, I am the team captain of Lucky 13, 2nd place finishers of the Scrub Cup Season 4. Since then, some of our members have climbed to plat, and we are no longer eligible to participate in the scrub cup again. Because of this, we have our eyes set on the Overwatch University League. However, one of our players, our hitscan DPS, left the team to pursue his own goals. Because of this, we are looking for a high gold/low plat hitscan DPS to fill his place. I am trying to build a group for the upcoming OWUL that starts in january. Signups start Dec 17th, so time is of the essence. I really need to get some good reliable DPS sorted out.

I have 3 main reliable members to the team, already. 2 support mains 1 rein main, working on orisa and zarya.

• We are a very supportive and comical group. We would really like to make frans and grow as a group.
• You must be able to give and take criticism.
• Not toxic or being overbearing in chat.
• Willingness to learn and grow. Try other teammates suggestions and have your own.
• Be serious and committed to climbing.
• Really really need DPS with a side of off tank. dva or winston. One of my supports can play a damn good dva but then i'd lose a healer(depending on what future recruitment holds). Solid DPS is a higher priority than your potential ability to off tank. Off tank in some situations would be a plus but between all of us, it can be sorted out as needed.
• I am more concerned with team cohesion, your willingness to learn and grow than your current SR. Great games and scores come with a great team that mesh well. The 3 main, dedicated teammates work well and get along well and i want to keep that going.

Prime availability is M-Tues 7pm to 9pm CST. So far this is the time when the A-team is 100% available. I do plan on holding additional practices through out the week and weekend rotating in subs so they get a chance to play with the team and not just when they are needed for league games. My goal is atleast 3 1 hour minimum practices a week. However, we are online and playing alot more than that.

OWUL matches are played every Saturday from Jan to March. Please be available most of those Saturdays and communicate any absences as soon as you can so subs can be pulled in.

• Secondary DPS/Flex who can play a variety of dps, offtank and potentially support heroes on a high level. Your hero pool should ideally consist of at least 6 different heroes, focused more on the projectile side. Hitscan experience is a big plus.

• Offtank/Flex who can play a variety of tanks (more towards offtank), dps and potentially support heroes on a high level. Zarya, D.Va and Orisa/Soldier are requirements, 3+ further heroes (preferably dps AND supports) are a major plus and ideally required as well.

Previous experience with shotcalling (ulttracking/targetfocus) and the capability to shotcall even under pressure, during teamfights, is a huge bonus regardless of the role you are applying for.
