Looking for anyone Mid-high diamond who would want to play a few games of ranked since I’m a bit bored of solo queuing rank.
Mic not required since I’m a bit shy myself and preferably 17+
Nothing serious just looking for a chill time :p
Solo queuing is the absolute worst. Looking for masters players to play with.
I’m a supp main and need a group I can’t do this random groups anymore. I’m placing rn but Avery 10,00-14,000 healing a game
This happens at least once a day. Kiri wasn’t healing a ton but it didn’t matter. They had double digit eliminations. Tank said heal more once, then this.
It’s QP bro relax.
The tank went AFK for one round after getting flamed for being racist. Then just rolled around as ball for the next.
What's going on? Did I come back to a nerf? On PC every game we would have to yell at people not to take Hanzo/Widow and yet on console, no one picks them
I keep seeing the same few champs being selected which is making me wonder if OW console has different 'meta champs' than OW PC. Is this true?
(On a side note, my best DPS on PC was Hanzo but on controller I'm literal trash)
Title says it all, I main Sombra but the rework is not enjoyable so I’m going back to previous mains while I get used to the change and Widow has been a struggle but this game I think I did fairly well for someone with the attention span of a butterfly. Won this match but I’m still looking for things I can improve on
(Idk how to record clips like most posts but I figured out how to get a replay code. Idk if that’s acceptable, if it isn’t please inform me)
Replay code: 5TZQSJ
died and got tbagged by sombra 2 minutes after this LOLOL
I’ve just lost 9 straight games in a row on account of my dps just absolutely getting pooped on , whether its going in a 1v5 and dying or getting dove as hanzo and refusing to swap. I can’t take it anymore i need someone who halfway knows what their doing! Also do any tank players have the phenomenon of the whole enemy team will swap to counter you but your dps won’t do the same? Especially if they aren’t working out, idk dude I’m having a late night rage. But I’m a diamond sigma main if you’re a dps looking for tank duo please drop your tag!!!
I'm trying to platinum the game, and the only trophies remaining are both hanzo's sprays. I have like 300 hours in the game and most heroes feel normal to me, but when i play hanzo it feels so awkward and slow paced
I thought maybe chance the primary fire to alternative but i have no ideia if it will work better. What do you guys do for Hanzo? It could be just a skill issue by me and if it is, how do i even play better with him?
Usually hover around diamond but struggling this season. I’ll play whatever role, usually a support main.
HMU 🤘🏻
First, apologies for my grammar. I’ve been saving up to buy the MHA Juno skin and decided to use the region-switch trick to get coins at a lower price than in my local currency. However, I noticed that I couldn’t purchase the skin separately on the Nintendo Switch. I checked other platforms, and I can buy the skin individually on my Xbox just fine. My question is, if I buy OW coins on my Switch using a foreign currency, would I be able to use those coins on my account when I switch to another platform?
masters 4 in support, 2fa is on, 750 lifetime comp wins, and 36 wins this season. any reason why i’m not top 500 rn?
Sometimes it feels like guys have just straight up banned me from the afterlife. Other times you're making the entire team go Super Saiyan. And a special shout-out to all you mavericks out there getting more eliminations than the DPS/Tanks on both teams.
You don't get enough credit!
Got all of my placements finally done and I'm pretty proud of it, never was that high(Except the dps one)
Hi y’all! I’m Zhan Solo, an ex-Coach from CGL (mostly), and I’m hoping to help some of you guys with your controller aim!
But first, who am I?
Just to provide some reassurance that I might know what I’m doing: I was a coach for multiple console gaming league (CGL) teams ranging from Platinum to Masters back during Overwatch 1 for around 4-5 years. I retired about a year or two ago but now have some extra time on my hands and wish to be a bit productive with it.
So, what’s my relation to aiming in this game?
One of the things that I did when I was coaching teams was help my players’ aim by figuring out what settings they each were comfortable with with the hopes of improving their mechanical performance in official matches (However, I did not force anyone to change anything, this was all volunteer-based).
As a result, many of my players (almost 100%) had significantly improved their aiming performance after working with me through just one session. Of those that I stayed in contact with, all of them continue to use the same settings as before with zero personal changes.
Some of them managed to reach significantly higher ranks sometime afterwards. A handful of players from originally Platinum/Diamond teams went on to become Grandmaster/Top 500 players (though it’s best to tailor expectations, as their aim was not the only reason for their improvement even if it did help a little).
So what am I offering?
Personally, I don’t expect this post to gain much traction. But I have seen a lot of posts before from people wondering how to improve their aim. I know from experience that a decent amount of people don’t know what to do or where to start when it comes to this process. As someone who has worked with many people in the past with aim training as part of my personal coaching regimen, I would be glad to help anyone who’s looking to improve their own aiming ability.
Here’s what anyone interested should know:
I don’t charge anything. It’s all free. I have never charged for anything coaching related, it’s all just for fun.
One session usually takes around 1-2 hours. I will be spectating your POV in a custom practice range while making adjustments to your settings until we have covered everything necessary.
I cannot promise anything. Results can range from significant improvement to barely noticeable. While I am confident I can improve your aim, there’s no guarantee.
If anyone who sees this is interested, comment on this post or send me a dm on discord (username: zhansolo). We can work out a time that works for you.
That’s it! Thanks for reading!

Hello, im looking for a duo on console. im bored of always playing alone. Im a very laid back person, can play comp and qp. if ur interested, drop a message :)
how hard is it to beat the whole bundle on the highest difficulty for the nullifier name title thingy?
I like to add people who played well or people who I vibed with during the match. Sometimes, they accept my req. We then play duos and do great. This continues for a few days or a week or so.
Later, when I ask them again if they want to duo, they don't bother to reply; they straight-up ghosts. Sometimes, they say they are already in a group. And, often, I find that they already have a group/duo. I get that. But it gets tiring to get rejected or ghosted when we are no longer randoms. Is it hard to say that I am playing with friends, are you free tomorrow or give an alternative?
Why do people do this? Is it an ego thing?
How is map choice weighted for comp? I noticed that it's been 43 games between my favorite map, ilios. My next favourite maps, Lijiang and Nepal are similar. Meanwhile tonight I've gotten circuit Royale twice in 3 games.
And to make things worse, someone left on ilios, so I didn't even get to play it
I’m quitting the game.
Yeah I know I will get a fair amount of “who cares” and “good for you” and “skill issue”comments but for the people who might be in a similar situation as I am, here’s my reasoning:
I love Overwatch, I love how alive and unique the characters are. Voice acting is superb, the lore and backstories, holy shit this is 50% of what made me play the game in the first place.
Then there’s the gameplay itself: uniquely fast-paced, vibrant, strategy-focused. Not to mention pure dopamine-secreting sound effects. There’s just something about outsmarting a Reaper (or whoever) who’s trying to outsmart you, headshot him with that “dink” sound, getting the kill with the help of your support, and on top of that hearing a lore-oriented voice line after.
When things fall apart, is when the ranking system fails and matchmaking is either pure garbo, or deliberately coded as casino mechanics. Every game is either get a bot tank that immediately walks out of spawn into a 1v5, a 500-heals support on a 20min game, and a dps with 1-12 kd, OR and amazingly coordinated team of pro players. So it’s either get rolled or ez gg. The games that really feel balanced are a very low percentage.
(If you care about this info, I’m a diamond dps consistently going down to plat)
Then there’s the deeply broken (I mean genuinely need psychiatric help) people who are ALOWED to freely roam and creep the game. Because Overwatch investors care about number of accounts I guess? instead of the quality of the game experience.
Fixes that can be easily implemented, like IP perma bans on cheaters, throwers, and overall bullies and toxics will never get done. Or how about better matchmaking, or actually doing something efficient with the endorsement levels?
So that is that. I’m moving on because Overwatch is performing all sort of gymnastics just to avoid fixings the things that matter. Like, they just increased the available slots for avoided people, doesn’t that tell you something?
And instead they are working on bringing 6v6 back, because why? Because there’s like 50 people asking for it?
Nah, I’m done for good. And I just hope that if you are in a similar situation where you love the game but most of the times end up disappointed by the experience, know that it’s ok to quit.
No matter what it is or what I say people instantly get defensive, I don't Flame anyone or bm my own team I just use comes the way there supposed to be used, and I get bm or toxic accusations thrown at me, especially while I'm playing tank, I can say something simple as focus other support while there playing pharmacy so we can dismantle there comp and three things will happen.
They point out my stats Like that has anything to do with what I said
They'll start arguing or again accusing me of being toxic or being me.
They leave vc or if it's qp leave the game.
It happens alot and I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining but it gets annoying after awhile I'm not trying to say I want to boss my team around but comms are useful there are useful things you can relay to your team, sucks that if your not playing comp is instantly l. Seen as toxicity.
