Hey NoCo. I'm a journalist at a local radio station looking to interview patients that have had surgeries or other hospital procedures cancelled/altered due to the current shortage of IV fluids. Send me a DM if you're up for a call!
Hey everyone! 🌟 I hope you're all doing well! I'm Jordan Robinette, a McNair Scholar at the University of Northern Colorado, and I'm working on an exciting research project about the impact of the pandemic on our kids' education. My study, "Pandemic Preschooling: Exploring the Link Between Supplemental Education During the Pandemic and Academic Performance in the 2023-24 School Year," aims to find out how extra learning support during the COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the academic success of kids aged 7 to 9. Here's where I need your help! 🙏 I'm looking for parents of children aged 7 to 9 to participate in a survey. It takes about 10-15 minutes and is super important for helping us understand and improve education during tough times. If you or anyone you know might be interested in participating, please check out the flyer attached and reach out to me. Your input would be incredibly valuable!
I have also attached a link here!

Apparently there will be a huge solar storm tonight that will push the northern lights as far south as Northern Colorado. Anyone have a good viewing location for this?
Do not use your debit/credit cards at the 7 eleven or the atm on 52 and Frederick Way in Frederick CO. They steal your information and use it or sell it. My card was fraudulently used a few months ago at gas station atm in Aurora (I had only used this specific card at this 7 eleven) Then today my fiances card was fraudulently used, they took all his money out also at an atm in Aurora. We both have our physical cards, and they were able to get our card number and pin. It has been confirmed by an employee that this has happened to other people in the last few months and stated it's the atm. A police report has been filed. This needs to stop!
Does anyone know of decent virtual or in-person therapists in northern Colorado that won’t break the bank? I can’t afford $100+ per session - looking to land around $70-$85 per session. Also, if you have any suggestions on where else to post this for more engagement, I am all ears. TIA!
My wife and I just moved to Fort Collins and know absolutely no one. Is there a couple in the Fort Collins area that would be willing to me up for drinks or a meal? Simply looking to make friends.
We are a couple in our mid 20s that are looking to expand our non existent friend group. I'm into sports and working out. My wife is a teacher and enjoys various crafts. We are hoping we can add to our nonexistent friend group as we are feeling a little sad about leaving everything we knew behind to start a new life here. We are flexible with where and when anyone would like to meet up.
Hi folks, I’m in Loveland and my buddy wants to come do some Rocky Mountain snowboarding. I haven’t been for a while for mostly financial reasons, but I’m wondering how y’all might handle a long weekend if mountain time is the priority?
Current thought is to get the cheapest lodging possible in/near steamboat. Still gonna be crazy expensive but at least we won’t be spending 6+ hours driving every day… Curious if anyone has suggestions/advice/improvements!
