I'm planning to grow 1 plant in a 35x35x35 Ikea EKET cabinet and I'm looking for some advice on the setup. I've grown outdoors, and I'm in the EU. This is just a fun, budget novelty project build for the winter months. 

I know that I would have to do a lot of LST'ing, but from my experience the size pot that I'll use + the training and cropping could be enough to keep the plant tiny. 

I'll add a simple DIY raidial fan + carbon filter combo on the back to help with smell.

Going to harvest the tops in 3 days and let the bottoms go another week. Really love this method. Grown in coco and fed with Fox Farm nutrients, Cal Mag, Silica, and recently a micronized organic powdered fertilizer brewed with an air stone.

Day 65 Mephisto Cream Cheese and Grape Crush

I've already grown a lot of plants in 1m X 1m. However, I've sold everything because it was a lot of work and didn't know what to do with so much weed. I wanted to know if you know of any easy-made nano-growery setup. I would like to have a really small plant that could provide me with some weed every 3 or 4 months. My priority is it to be in a very small space.

TLDR:  first timer trying to grow autos as natural and easy as possible in zone 8b. Mostly using what I have already for new yearly plants and herbs. Failing miserably. 

Would love some insight / advice for the next round.

First time trying to grow myself, and wanted to see if it can be done extremely casually. 
Not expecting much, just having fun and trying to learn.

The experiment is trying to grow organic outdoors in zone 8b (Denmark). 
Whenever possible, I aim to mostly use stuff I already have/use each season for new plants and herbs inside/outside.
No artificial lights, only organic nutes and tap water.

Seeds:
2 x Northern Lights Auto Fem
2 Blue Dream 
2 Critical Jack
2 Frisian Duck
2 Purple D
(And a random bag seed).

I started germinating my first batch of mixed seeds mid April. I knew it would probably be too early, but I wanted to do 2 starting dates and learn from the early seeds to improve. 

Germinated and planted 11 seeds in a domed seedbox in the windowsill. 
Kept humidity 60-70%, while temperatures varied depending on sun exposure. 
PH should be ~6. 
In the windowsill they currently get ~8 hours of sun. They will get more when I am able to move them outside.
I have fabric pots for the next round, but the first batch of seeds is just for learning. 

After 1 week (PICTURE 1) I planted 1 of each strain in degradable containers and put the containers in soil in pots. Left 1 of each seed in the seedbox removing the lid. 

After 3-4 days when the transplants acclimatized, I started taking them outside in the sun for 1-2 hours a day. Not sure if the sun was too strong or the weather too cold (around 15-17 Celsius in the shade), but they reacted very poorly and crumbled up, so I gave up on those.

2 weeks after germinating (PICTURE 2), I have now transplanted the rest from the seedbox to pots, buried most of the stem due to stretching and now keeping them in the windowsill (PICTURE 3).

A few questions: 

- Will this approach ever yield results?

- Is the slow growth of the current batch just due to low sun exposure – or how can I improve conditions? 

- What temperatures are needed before I germinate the next round of seeds?

- I’ve read that photos are a bit more forgiving, but is that even realistic in this climate with a max of 12h of sun?

It turns out you can grow a decent plant in a 5oz pot.

Visited the Mojave for a week and relied on my DIY watering solution, which thankfully worked well! Came back to these gals looking gorgeous.

I absolutely love growing plants this size. So easy to maintain and so low on electricity costs, which at $0.60 a kWh out here (fuck PGE), is a tough pill to swallow.

I really love Mephisto autoflowers. They grow and flower so quickly which is great for my impatient ass.

That is my first time.  I'll put them on the balcony as soon as I can.  I'm a little worried because they're still so small.  I put them in the water on April 2nd to germinate.  After 24 hours then into the coconut soil or into pods.  Standing on the south side and actually getting a lot of light except last week when the weather was pretty poor... so I bought a small light bulb.

Day 42 - Super small purple lemonade, don't know what's caused it yet although I used a 100W floodlight instead of a grow light.
One recently fell badly and resulted in complete uprooting. Leaves are slowly turning yellow and I expect it will die off slowly.
2 new ones on the way under a cheap Amazon blurple grow light until the new vipar spectra arrives. Hope we see some better results this time round.

First of all-this is just an experiment. I used a set of these car roof LEDs. I think with the reflectors the light was too bright. What would you recommend. Use the built in reflectors, or not? Thanks!
