So I have a cut of Dante’s inferno that I flowered and it checked all the boxes for me, it’s fully flowered and ready to be cut. I’m hoping to reveg it and be able to pull some cuts off of it Has anyone ever had any problems cloning a plant that has been treated with phosphoload?
Does anyone here have the visosun smarthub and understands what they are doing. Please dm me. I have a few questions
If yall sort your buds into various sizes. What tools/ approach do you use.? I’m looking to see if anyone has some good dIY type builds that is an efficient and gentle sorting process. Thanks.
I've used BTi for years for control of fungus gnats. It works well proactively. However, I'd like to find a more "automated" option to apply on all plants consistently throughout the plants life cycle. We fertigate all plants via drip and only drench BTi (plus some goodies) each week in veg. We grow in 1 gallon coco, so the bags flush out in a short period and we inevitably end up with more gnat mid to late flower. Curios if anyone has tried pushing a BTi product through drip successfully or if you have any other best practices for its application? Or for fungus gnats for that matter? Thanks in advance!
I work with a lot of different growers across the country and I've been hearing some rumblings about some fallout issues with Athena lately. I just wanted to see if anyone has heard anything similar or has experienced any issues themselves.
With prices this low and power costs so high is anyone on scale feeling like they're about to hit the wall?
Hey all, I am building a closed loop system for my smaller breeding section which is roughly 19 ft by 8 ft By 7ft high. roughly 140 square feet. I’ll be running at least 3000 watts In lighting. Im having a hard time understanding what size mini split I need. Can anyone give me an idea. Thanks a lot.
Looking for seeds if anyone can help with that? Thanks
What’s the best strain you’ve grown recently with a high calyx-to-leaf ratio? Would love to hear about the yield, bud density, and any unique characteristics!
Have been using molasses for years to brew compost tea.. recently got into a growing solutions brewer and it ruins the aeration discs.. Does anyone recommend alternative cost effective complex or simple carbohydrate to brew with?
Usually dont take in clones because of hlv.. but really want something top tier and new. Any recommendations for an elite freshly hunted clone source??
I’ve been growing for a while now, but I’m planning to scale up with White Widow for my next grow and want to make sure I’m sourcing high-quality seeds. With so many seed banks out there, it’s tough to tell which ones are legit, and I definitely don’t want to end up with dud seeds or waste money.
Anyone have recommendations for reliable seed banks that ship to the U.S.? Discreet shipping and good customer service would be ideal. Thanks in advance for any tips
I’m fighting root aphids. Just seeing what everyone else is using.
I am a system engineer who can create anything and everything for my growop, but I just don't have the time. However, every single time I look at buying premade equipment, I just can't believe the pricing.
For example, I want to start control charting my EC and moisture in the medium, so I look at growlink and I just can't justify the price. Sensors are pennies to a few dollars plus single board computer (which I have boxes of). Give me a weekend or two and I could build something.
Another example is auto irrigation systems.
This mentality is killing my progress, so I wanted to ask those who had similar mentality; when and how did you break away from doing everything yourself?
Thanks in advance!
With the possibility of federal cannabis legalization on the horizon in the U.S., I’m curious about the potential impact on the Canadian export market. Currently, Canada holds a strong position in the global cannabis export scene due to our quality reputation and relatively low production costs, which has increased local demand over the past year. But what happens if the U.S. fully legalizes? Let’s dive in.
Background on Canada’s Market Conditions
In 2020, Canada faced a massive oversupply with around 2.1 million square meters of indoor production space, which led to a significant price drop. At one point, quality indoor cannabis was trading as low as $1 CAD/gram (about $0.73 USD) or roughly $327 USD per pound. By 2023, approximately 35% of this capacity had closed, allowing prices to recover as exports increased. Currently, quality indoor products are trading at around $1.75–$2.35 CAD/gram (about $1.30–$1.70 USD), which translates to roughly $571–$766 USD per pound. Exceptional quads are selling for $2.50 CAD/gram (about $1.85 USD), or around $814 USD per pound, though very few commercial producers can consistently reach this quality. Two Perspectives on U.S. Legalization’s Impact
Opinions vary among Licensed Producers (LPs) and industry insiders on what U.S. legalization could mean for Canada:
Given these factors, Canada’s high-quality indoor cannabis could retain its premium position even with U.S. competitors entering the market.
Hypothetical Question
If U.S. federal legalization happens, do you think it will be a net positive or negative for Canada’s cannabis industry?

I was wondering if. Any of you guys have any suggestions for mini splits that run well in cold temps outside. I’m running haier cold weather ones that are rated to -20 have done well the last two years but I’m moving into a new building and want to know if anyone has any other suggestions. I think our current ones are 32000 btu’s. The temps can get down to -10 to -20 but not that often. Mostly in the 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit range. Thank you guys.
I do indoor growing with coconut coir, and this is my current recipe:
- Silicate
- PlantProd 7-11-27
- Calcium Nitrate 17-0-0+33
- MKP 0-52-34
- Magnesium Sulfate
When I’m in bloom and want to cut the nitrogen, I completely remove the Calcium Nitrate and start adding Calcium Carbonate. However, I'm not satisfied with that!
Can anyone suggest better alternatives for calcium without nitrogen? Maybe Calcium Sulfate? Thanks!
I’m sick and tired of those little shits. I cleaned the room completely bleached it to a degree of death. Baked the room. And new clones new dirt and those fuckers are back.
So far. Tried azaguard. Bioceres. NOTHING!
Is there something that I can just drench the plant out in in the dark. Give it an hour or so and rinse everything out with nutes and turn the lights back on.
I work on the retail side and want to expand my knowledge a bit when it comes to buying. What would be some common red flags you come across? What is “work” when it comes to the industry? (Buyer asking if they ever need work? Off metric) If in California, what would be common prices ranges for exotics, indoor, and deps? TIA!
For those of you who runs Athena. Do you flush towards the end. Why and why nots ? TIA
