Hey Dragons fan,
I’m currently looking for some mods probably like 4 or 5 to help keep the place in line, update the sub and keep the community active. If you’d been keen please reply to this thread and I’ll send you a message.
After todays news I would love to have a Shane “ Grapefruit Nuts” Flanagan flair please ❤️
Next few months will be interesting to see what the sides make up is.
DeBelin to half?? haha
I think Hunt served well initially, I think it looks like a lot of someone throwing all their toys out of the cot post Hook being sacked though.
King Togia might get a good run now, we will just have to wait and see.
We'd beat them both if only we didn't lose to the team coming dead last in round 26. Oh well
I thought Kyle Flanagan had a good year considering he was bought in to be a backup hooker & half. I’d go so far as to say that Ben Hunt looks better when Kyle is at 5/8.
Unless I miscounted... Across the last two games we scored 52 points in 31 consecutive minutes.
The inconsistency of these guys is really something else. If we could harness even a portion of that over 80 we'd be a very serious force to reckon with...
We will likely beat the Raiders now there is little riding on the game.
Boys all get on the piss and drunkenly watch an 18 all draw between the Knights and Phins slowly realising, 'oh fuck, we need to cancel our flights Monday and front up next week.
This is a joke by the way.
I reckon we still beat the Raiders, but there is no way a draw plays out between those other two.
I dunno. I re-watched Dune 2 last night and thought of this
Let's party. What a win
Thoughts on the Dragons getting Holmes? I've seen the majority of Dragons fans in support of this move while others are a bit less enthusiastic about Holmes
For mine, it depends on $$$. I wouldn't do it for 900K+ but would be happy to shell out 700-750K for a max of 3 years. He's not going to get better but gives us another option at fullback & rep experience to help our younger players.
BTW I would rather save that money for a gun middle or game managing halfback.
Thoughts on the team & how we'll perform?
Line up:
I'm going to post more on this dragons reddit community because the other forums/facebook have interesting discussions which don't really make sense to me.
TBH I think we'll see a similar result to the panthers but I hope we continue to play some more off-load type footy. One out runs against the top teams don't work for us imo.
I hope Sloan gets more involved in attack because his defence is unlikely to improve much this season. I would love to see him get some early ball & create for others either through his speed or passing.
Feel free to let others know about this Dragons community on Reddit, hope we can have some great discussions!

Can you reserve seats in the 3 game member zone at win stadium. And can someone who isn’t a member sit there with someone who is ? Cheers
Congrats to Lomax, Sua, and Hunt on origin selection.
I thought Lomax had done enough to play himself out of a jersey, but he had made the cut.
I am now quite interested to see tomorrows team list.
I would guess Marschke, BMM, and Tuipolotu.
But might we see Fainu or Tamale for Lomax?
Or Fifita or Tuitavake for Sua?
Thoughts team?
Just a quick question, but I was wondering, with Zack Lomax signing with the Eels from next year onwards, is it possible that he can still not go/ change his mind? Like, I’ve heard people say there’s a cooling-down period. The way he’s playing atm, I’d hate to see him go. I know Flanno has a plan, but I would like to see Zack stay. And the way he’s playing and the direction the saints are going I’d hope he’d want to stay.
Cheers!!!
Solid effort and result last weekend, I will admit, I thought the Warriors would beat us.
Sure, closer than last year, but still beat us.
Just would love to see the gap between the best and worst performances narrow right down.
Hey guys. A mate and I are in town for the Dragons v Warriors game coming up. We're planning to go. Right now there are $60 good seats or $30 grass bank standing tickets. What do locals reckon? Any advice? Pros and Cons?
I reckon they looked flat from the kick off. Almost everyone was pretty quiet and the Dolphins were up and on.
Lomax is still putting in. Would like to see his consistency with the rest of them.
Was a flat performance I thought, very little energy and spark.
