NASCAR season will be over soon and I need something to watch during the off-season. What are the most chaotic non endurance races from the Rolex Sports Cars Series and the American Le Mans Series? By non endurance, I mean nothing more than 4 hours
Hello,
I‘m an avid motorsport fan, and have recently been getting into older forms of motorsport, think Can-Am, Gen2 NASCAR, and so on. I find it to be quite interesting, seeing how the sport progressed over the years and it‘s different forms. But the one thing that I found to be really useful in this are internet databases which have race results, car specifications, etc, for the majority of these older championships. The only issue is I can‘t really find any. Does anyone know of such a site? Help very appreciated, thanks in advance.
Does anyone know of any companies or shops in the US that can build a rally car for someone? I’d supply the car, engine, roll cage, parts and transmission I want etc… I understand it’s best to rent at first or buy a used one, but I’d love to have one build instead. I’m not much of a mechanic, so I definitely don’t trust myself to build one lol.
Edit: Companies besides Vermont SportsCar, and Rally Ready. They seem like great companies, I’m just curious about other options.
Does anyone know of a bar (or any other place, if they exist) in LA where they show races or have events? I know the race times aren't great for those of us in the US, but maybe there's a place where they show them the next day. Thank you for any advice!
Looking for a type of routeless racing where the goal isn't to reach the finish line; it's to be the first to reach all the checkpoints (in any order). Does this exist? If so, what's it called? Thanks!
I am an amateur racecar driver in South Africa. I was looking at onboard cameras and realised that there is some very sophisticated equipment that can help you with your lines and give you a ton of useful data. Does anyone have any suggestions on which I should buy? I am considering the garmin catalyst but don’t want to commit if there’s something better.
So I know that it’s a bit late for me to start karting, ofc I would love to make it to a big series but at the same time I have to face the reality of how expensive it is and also I’m a bit late. I honestly just want to start karting and see where my life goes from there, whether I stay in karts until adulthood, I progress to another series or anything that may happen will be a problem for later.
I have told my parents abt this before and my dad is just as big of a racing fan as I am and so at first he said yes but then he got scared that I would crash or get hurt. This is honestly my dream and I want this more than anything, I’d be willing to put in all of the effort and dedication required to be good. Plus I have connections that may end up getting me sponsors.
How can I convince my parents? Pls, I really need the help.
Project.
I'm a enthusiast about racing anything you name it I'm interested in it. Regarding were to live for that I'm clueless. I started out with drag racing and asked for a passenger seat for a few runs and of course I'm hooked on it and wanting to drive my own cars to different events with a different vehicle. Although that drag strip is there I'm wanting a more of a variety area to live from my interests.
This list is categorized ranging from interest level starting with highest then least interest:
Race Track Circut(High) -> Drifting Track -> Drag Strip -> Dirt Track -> Oval Track(least)
Any information on what town to go to for those events that would be amazing and how many hours it takes to drive there would help! In the US
