With some help, I think I could have a good thing going. Thoughts?
hi,
im looking to find some where to buy some hi-tech merch, the only things that i have found on the internet are race suits which are well not ideal. Im thinking shirts, caps ect.
So these past few days I've been working on a theoretical racing series that combines all different drivers for a series. Here's the details.
Cars Used:
For normal circuits, street circuits, and ovals 1.5-2.5 miles long I went for LMP2 cars bc they're similar to almost every type of race car.
For shorter ovals (1/2-1 mile tracks) I went for GT3 cars bc they're not NASCAR cup cars but similar enough to everybody else to give any advantage.
For rally stages ofc Im gonna go for a WRC1 car simply bc imo knowing the car isn't gonna give an advantage on rally stages when it's all about skill.
Drivers: (5 drivers from F1, Indycar, NASCAR cup, WEC Hypercar, WEF LMGT3, IMSA GTP, IMSA GTD, WRC, and Australian V8 supercars)
Max Verstappen Lewis Hamilton Charles Leclerc Lando Norris Fernando Alonso
Alex Palou Josef Newgarden Scott Dixon Pato O'ward Will Power
Kyle Larson Denny Hamlin Tyler Reddick Christopher Bell Shane Van Gisbergen
Kevin Estre Laurens Vanthoor Nyck De Vries Antonio Giovinazzi Andre Lotterer
Joel Sturm Alex Malykhin Klaus Bachler Yasser Shahin Valentino Rossi
Ricky Taylor Felipe Nasr Filipe Albuquerque Dane Cameron Sebastian Bourdais
Jordan Taylor Antonio Garcia Laurin Heinrich Mike Rockenfeller Philip Ellis
Sebastian Ogier Thierry Neuville Ott Tanak Takamoto Katsuta Elfyn Evans
Will Brown Cam Waters Chaz Mostert Broc Feeney Matthew Payne

Hi all! As the title suggests, I'm interested in racing so I figured this would be a good place to pick some brains.
I grew up around motorsports (my dad did autocross for forever), but only recently did I get the itch to actually compete and learn how to drive myself.
A little background about what I'm thinking: I'm currently 21 and finishing undergrad. After graduation I want to take a gap year or two before going back for my JD. In a way, I figured this gap might be a good way to get it out of my system, so-to-speak.
That being said, I don't really know where to start nor what motorsport would really suit me best.
If it helps any, I'm currently (and will be for the foreseeable future) located in NC and while I don't necessarily want to break the bank, I do know this is a pricey hobby to be flirting with.
Any ideas or pointers would be soooo appreciated!
Looking to get into desert racing. Let say the budget is $20k but it’s flexible. Some rock crawling experience in jeep but not high speed experience.
I’ve had a few recommendations to go class 1/2 1600 and class 9. What say you and please explain why? Thanks
Project.
Hello everyone, to keep it brief and not take much of your time
Im 19 and in a chat with my dad he told me that if I really don't vibe with the college to get a office job, they are willing to help me pay for the necessary stuff for racing, but is it even possible at this age? Like where do I start? Because I know I would love to do WEC if I was a racer but I am not sure how to do it or if its even possible at this point. Any insight or comments about this would be appreciated
Hi everyone! I’m currently studying Racing Engineering at De Montfort University, with over 10 years of hands-on experience in motorsport. I’m seeking an opportunity to intern or volunteer with a racing team or individual racing engineer during the 2025 season to deepen my practical experience.
I’m even prepared to pay a reasonable amount to work alongside a racing engineer to gain insights into real-time decision-making and in-race engineering strategies.
Any advice on whom to approach or where to start would be hugely appreciated! If you have contacts or can recommend anyone working on or off the track who might be interested, please let me know. Thank you!
