As the title says I made a mistake straight piping my lancer, what should I do to make it sound better, it's very loud lots of drone, should I get down pipes, add a muffler?

I have 2019 Outlander Sport, and I recently received error code p0401 (EGR). Took it to a mechanic, and he cleared the error, and it took several weeks before the error reappeared. He said since it's taking so long for the error to reappear, I probably have carbon buildup, and I might be able to deal with it by continually using fuel system cleaner and better gasoline.

When I look online, I notice for other vehicles that you can often remove the egr valve and clean it manually. Has anyone ever tried to do this with an Outlander Sport? Replacing the valve will cost between 500-700$, so if cleaning is an option I'm willing to try.

Hey guys, I’m looking to buy another lancer as a side project car but where I am the 1.5L is only available. I can buy the full 1.8l engine but I’m wondering can I take out the 1.5 and put the 1.8 in and what’s the process I need to go through for it ? Thanks

i been posting here a bit with some advice on repairs. got an 09 eclipse gs 2.4l. I replaced my catalytic converter. Soon after car smoked from exhaust only in park and reved . While driving it doesn’t. But otw home car randomly overheated and coolant leaked out?? Pulled over. Found nothing noticeable. Put water in ( didnt have coolant) let it idle and sit. The temp gauge was at the half way mark then dropped ( way below cold) like it didnt wanna work. Turned it off and turned it on and drive home and car behaved normal? No over heating with temp gauge working as it should. Any ideas??

Anyone successfully replaced with Android headunit with canbus that supports factory rear view camera and amplifier ? Also how the info / settings that currently getting updated using factory radio work ?

I own an 2011 Mitsubishi ASX. Recently i wanted to update the maps to the latest version, after the memory card was taken out and plugged into the pc it died. The person who was doing it for me took a second card out of peugeot and downloaded the new maps and plugged it in. Now the screen is stuck on this window but the other options that are not connected to the navi work (reverse camera, radio, air condition screen). When you click on the navi button the screen stays and the whole unit restarts.

So I just got this car yesterday from Carmax. Trying to get an account made with Mitsubishi to get a copy of the user manual. The website says I have to make an account through the app, the app won't allow me because this model supposedly doesn't have the telematic processing unit. Not a single person at the dealership, nor the care center could help me with this.

Also, the vehicle has a setting on the dash for remote start, but my key fob doesn't have the 3rd button. Can I remote start it or not?

I recently signed up for the connected services with my 2023 outlander and I went to use the auto start functionality but it wouldn’t let me set a temperature? Is there a way I can do that? On the website it shows you how but my app looks different than the one on the website. Everything else works fine if started fine and everything just wanted to turn on heated features since it was 11 degrees this morning. Thank you

I got a pair of vland tail lights for my lancer and I’ve noticed my reverse lights are red and my rear fog lights are white when I turn them on, the car originally only had one reverse light on the left side and one rear fog on the right side,

I am considering a new daily car with a little bit better gas mileage than a swapped 77 El Camino and had heard good things about Mitsubishi 3ks, there is a complete parts car -bad engine at my junkyard, so I figured that any common failures I could look for and pull the part before I get the car.

My galant turns on cruise control everytime I turn the wheel and it messes me up a bit. I know my car has some faulty wiring and I don’t need control.
