Im looking to buy an aftermarket muffler for my Lancer just not sure on the inlet/outlet size to go for?

I have a 91 galant not a vr4 and was wondering if an evo 3 body kit would be able to fit on it i’ve seen it done on the vr4s before. If not what kits would be able to thanks.

The screen became mostly not responsive in my '21 Outlander PIHV. The dealer quoted me $2k to replace it. Does anyone know a less expensive alternative?

Looking at buying a 2010 Lancer 1.8l manual thats at 175 000km (approx 108 000 miles). At what point should the timing chain be replaced? Im under the impression that the timing chain can last the engines life, im i right or should it be replaced soon?

I got this Problem lately but i have no clue ro fix it. It says Low voltage on ABS pump but Batterie is fine. Is there an easy fix or need i to replace the ABS unit.

What could be wrong with my car? When its warm rpm goes up and down when parked or in neutral but does not do it when is on Drive! Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Why does the eclispe cross phev have a 2.4l i4 when the normal eclispe cross a 1.5l wouldnt a smaller engine be better to add my more battery?

Local mechanic advised me to not spend any money on this car anymore and told that it’s to sell it. Unfortunately, my car is not part pf the recall for the rust in front subframe even though I really feel it should be.

Any advice/thoughts on this? Is this worth fixing?

I have looked up and down trying to find what these +/- buttons do on my 2005 VR-X lancer. Haven't found anything, I'm assuming they are for changing gears? They haven't worked since i bought the car. Also wondering what the possible cause for them not working could be .

Hey all, as the title suggests I’m looking to put the sub from my old lancer into my new one. It seems that there is the same mounting spot in the 2014 one and there js a cable running down to where the sub would go. Just wondering if anyone knows what might happen if I just screw it in and plug it in, will it be damaging to the system? Will there be anyway I can actually control it? Cheers

I've had a service engine soon light come on and I tried to clear it and it's returned. It's for an oxygen sensor.

Feeling a little numb whilst typing this. I bought a shogun SG-3 last week Friday. Now I'm feeling quite unnerved as I'm not sure why there is an extra reading on the odometer when I flicked through.

The car was advertised in miles (78k) and was told the car did 127km.

But I have now found an additional figure of 217km.... Is this the real mileage figure? What does this relate to? I always thought the reading is the original figure plus trip A + trip B. The figure doesn't stay too long and reverts back to the original figure of 127km.

Any help understanding. I hope I wasn't scammed.

Hey everyone, I recently bought my Lancer and have been disappointed at trying to disable the eco mode.

I've been online and it says since it's the cars computer system sending signals to the engine, there's no way to turn it off. Is this true? Is there something I can take out to prevent it from doing this? Or am I stuck saving up to turbo it?

I'm honestly considering a different car since I was forced to buy this one. (No other option).

I am looking to buy a Lancer which is currently on sale but have questions about it and want to hear your opinions.

How good/reliable is the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 DID INSTYLE?
It has a Volkswagen 2.0 turbo diesel engine with 140bhp. The owner told me he removed the DPF filter 10 years ago as it was causing the DPF filter light to go on. (Unsure how it goes through annual inspection).

It has 280k kilometers on it. Has new springs(?) and shock absorbers, new brakes front and back, new front brake calipers.
At 270k he said he did general maintenance on the engine.

It has 18 inch rims with tyres for 1 more season
16 inch rims with winter tyres are included but are also only good for 1 season

Price is 5000€ but will likely go down as I don't want the roof rack and box he is providing with it and generally haggling is expected at a good 4000€.

Hello! My dad is lending me one of his old favorite cars. Im relatively new to fixing up old cars but its been a hobby that ive wanted to pick up for awhile. As of now i dont know the conditions of the car, only that it is ready for long drives. Im wondering if anyone has any advice or suggestions for restoring/upgrading a pajero? Im located in Northern Philippines. And based on my research, not many people do this at all. But i know it will be a fun project that will keep me busy.

The drivers side front seat is getting trashed from getting in and out. I need a cover for at least that seat, probably should do the passenger seat too, so that they match. Any suggestions? I prefer the fabric covers that can breathe.

So I have heard that toyota is bringing back a lot of gasser (not EV and not hybrid) classics like the new Celica awd and the new MR2. Both will probably get a new 4 cyl turbo or maybe the GR 3 cyl turbo for the MR2.

Has anyone at Mitsu ever considered to make a non-interference engine, turbo, chain driven... and bring back the EVO or 3000GT name plates? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Plenty of kids who grew up in the 80's and 90's who enjoyed the tuner scene have grown up and now have multiple rides. Making bespoke/halo limited run vehicles might actually revive the brand? You don't need to make many and they can be build to order even. They could say "Hey, once we reach a threshold of X custom orders... we will fire off a run of these cars." Since each car is pre sold... dealers don't get a chance to markup and no chance to do stupid port or dealer add ons. Low risk for losses, since these are not going to be sitting on lots.

I do miss all my great memories in my 4g63 eclipse GSX. It was always breaking but I had a great Indy who could fix it and customize it as well.
