So the automod has been hard at work keeping the spambots out of view. so far it's seems to be catching all of them. my interest to renew this place is still high but I'm struggling with actual ideas so suggestions are always welcome

I have now configured the automod with autoremoval for spam posts.

I'm fully aware we're getting spammed by crypto scammers. y'all have been doing a good job at keeping reports consistent. I've also removed a few as they pop up

as a side note I'm still intending to make an attempt to reboot this place. I've got some ideas on how I might do that

I will also add that if we do get genuine interest in reviving this place I'll need some assistance with moderation as I'm fairly often busy with work. I have enough free time still to maintain operations here but I'll not always be able to be there

Overall I do have a few story ideas batting around in my head. But it all depends on if there is any interest from anyone of the old guard or people who may of been interest in this place but found it dead

Before anyone asks. Yes the NSFW sister sub will be re-opened if there is interest in that as well. I know all too well how this community tends to go

Hey y'all it's been a hot minute since anything has been done here.

So I very much doubt anyone is still around. But I guess it's still worth asking. Is there any interest at all in reviving this place. Or should we accept that this ship has sailed and the sub should be put into archive mode. All content from the past will still be readable if anyone wants to take a trip down memory lane. But no new posts would be able to be made.

I will leave this post up for a while in case of a miracle.

first off sorry for going radio silent again. had some personal stuff going on. plus moving house and all the chaos that comes with it

so it's no secret there's been a major downturn of activity here, and I'm somewhat to blame for it. but after a long Hiatus I think it's about time to start work on a solid plan to revive this place.

so in previous Iterations we more or less followed along the lines of the main Story as it was in the trilogy. However I have heard good ideas for original stories over the past few years.

also I'm looking for input and ideas from old members who may still be around, lurkers who may of had an interest in getting in here at any stage when we were active. anyone really. if you think you have a good idea then feel free to write it down here!

lastly just a little Moderation update for transparency. I've still been removing spam, spam bots and Mistaken Political posting as it crops up

In orbit, Seto's small ship loiters around a planet in the middle of nowhere. Having just dropped off cargo he got paid too little for, he looks over his finances "So that should pay for fuel and.... Lunch. That ok, knew I wasn't going to make much off this, but it did put me closer to Illium... maybe I can find more work there."

He lays in a course and breaks orbit for the relay. With an hour to kill he begins checking his emails

"Nothing new,... Except spam, may as well. Hung like a Krogan, delete. Hung like a Hannar? The hell? Delete. ..... Got a job, not like the last time I swear.... This looks like actual mail."

Opens the message

"I have cargo that needs moved quietly, I know the last job didn't go as well, and I admit, we could have been more prepared. Let me make it up to you, we can still make good, right? If you can make this delivery hi happen I can even pay you what I owe you from the last job. Meet me on Illium, you'll find me in the Indigo spire club, I'll be at the bar. -Slick Jones"

"Frick... This idiot again. Slick still isn't a cool nickname. .... No. Nope nope no. I am not dealing with this garage Illium has got to have some other work I can pick up. How did he even email me? I thought I blocked him... Aah, new email address"

seto goes to delete the message, then stops. He clears the rest of his spam, but leaves this one for now. The rest of the trip to Illium is uneventful. He notices the engine burning a little more fuel than normal "I'll have to clean that once I set down. Hopefully that'll take care of it.*

He lands and begins checking the freelance shipping job boards. Everything there either wants move more cargo than he has room, or is paying so little that it's not worth it, he desperately checks emails for any other option

so for some of you it's been a while. this place has been kinda stagnant on stuff for the better part of 2 or 3 years, part of it sorta feels like my fault.

Regardless having been a member for 5 whole years it's hard to let this place go y'know. So that's why I'm reaching out!

AC here. It’s been a long time since we’ve actually done something. I was just checking in; who is actually active and who would engage in any RP that we do here? I’m sure some people have forgotten the Fleet, but who do we have left?

Just some ribbing. No offense meant.

It would warm my heart to see this place thrive once again, though. Just sayin'...

P.S. I know I could help by contributing, but it ain't really in me anymore (tempted though I may be to unleash the Baron once again). I have enough trouble focusing my efforts to write my books. Role playing, fuhgetaboutit!

So I may not contribute, but I'd still love to see the place thrive.
