Where did you all get your wedding bands? We’re about to start looking for my ring. I bought my fiancés engagement ring at a local jeweler that’s big in the area. She wants to shop around and check out stores like Zales, Jared etc….
Any suggestions on where to get a good ring? And what material is a good one?
Looking for some ideas for a gift for my bride. We are doing wedding day gifts to each other before our ceremony. Looking for ideas from anyone who's done this and its been a hit with the Bride. Wedding is October 7th, so looking to lock this in sooner rather than later.
What should I wear as a guest to a small wedding in Cyprus at peak 40•c weather? I also have leg tattoos I’m not too comfortable showing in pictures etc…
I was thinking to get a linen suit from moss bros as I’m from the uk
I’m fair skinned blonde and 5’10 and overweight currently in the gym to fix that last bit any advice would be appreciated
Hey guys, getting married late fall. We have decided on that greenish/grey colored suit. My future wife will be wearing white. What color would you suggest I buy shoes and bow tie?
Hi all. I was recently married and my wedding reception a few days ago. I'm pretty new to the western culture (American) and still trying to learn the customs here.It came as a surprise to me that after my wedding I was supposed to go through each one of our gifts and write a Thank You card for every person. Just the thought of handwriting hundreds of cards with personalized messages seems daunting to me. I didn't wanna leave my wife to do all the hard work so I chipped in to help. After a certain point of time, I just gave up and thought to myself that there had to be a better way. That's when it clicked me and I decided to streamline the process of making thank you cards as fast as possible. I built a system that would generate personalized messeges and handwritten notes all by itself. Now all I have to do is just fill out a bunch of fields as shown below and the system does an incredible job crafting and writing the message.
Please find the attached letter. https://ibb.co/zSJh8Wm
Here is a quick example:To: Erica Gift: Crystal wine set Relationship: Friend
I know a lot of people are struggling with the same problem and I thought it would be a good idea to share the product with this incredible community. Please let me know what you guys think. Planning to launch this soon.
Thanks :)
i need some ideas on groomsmen gifts, i want to get everyone basically the same thing so one doesnt get a cooler gift than the other, but my best man is 2 years sober and i dont wanna get him a shot glass or a beer mug like all of the “gift idea lists” suggest
I wouldn't say I was in bad shape before I started training for my wedding last year but I definitely wanted to build somw muscle and lose some fat to look like a boss in my suit (and feel confident for the honeymoon ;) ).
Is this something you guys have thought about too? Most of the "lose weight for your wedding" stuff is all for brides.
*Full disclosure: I'm the head coach of weddingbarbells.com - online coaching for men/woman who want to look/feel SEXY AF for their wedding day.
We offer a video service / app that turns your wedding guests into a film crew, to catch the moments that are truly special and that the primary photographer / videographer would miss.
Anyone with a smart phone and our app can join, create and make special memories. We then take all the footage and compile it together into a professional edited short film thats unique wedding video entirely made up of your guests, friends and families videos.
We would love your help improving our service! https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PNVSZJ2

Hello,
After hearing many horror stories of people trying to shop online or at Tiffanys for good quality engagement rings, I've founded a startup that helps people connect with custom jewelers in their city. This marketplace allows jewelers to bid for your business so that you always get the best value for your style.
We are just launching a beta and are looking for people to try out the platform and give us feedback! Your perfect ring awaits :)
Please sign up on our website and we'll give you special access to our beta app.
Heyo! Just some info for you queer grooms: if you want some more in-depth and specific advice for planning your 2-groom wedding, /r/LGBTWeddings is here for you!
This new sub was created a space for queer people to share wedding advice, questions, pictures, articles- anything! While same-sex (or otherwise queer) weddings are mostly just like any other, there are a few unique challenges and practical issues surrounding planning a same-sex wedding, and not a lot of resources to help. Same sex marriage is new and there's no blueprint to follow! /r/LGBTWeddings hopes to become a place where people can figure it all out together as a community.
Additionally, after so many years of hiding, it's so lovely to see queer folks publicly celebrating their commitments to each other! /r/LGBTWeddings will also be a place to post pictures and recaps of your wedding, your friends' or family member's weddings, or others you might find around the web.
Come check us out! All are welcome :)
Hello /r/MaleWeddingAdvice,
I thought I would share with you a list I compiled of wedding related subreddits. When I started searching I was amazed at how many there are. I wanted to share this because some are very helpful and active, while others could definitely use some love and attention. A few of them could probably even be adopted!
I didn't include ones that are obviously spam filled or by a particular company, couple, or that were NSFW. Please let me know if there are any I missed and I will add them. I hope you find this useful!

While the standard these days seems to be a rental at Men's Wearhouse, it's not for everyone. To start, they don't rent suits, only tuxes, and not every wedding is so formal. Their options are pretty limited, and they aren't the cheapest in town.
So putting aside the standard, what other options are there for grooms and male attendants?
I figured instead of doing an AMA on the main AMA board let's do one locally. I encourage any and all questions, especially ones you think are "stupid".
What did you guys get, or what are you looking at getting? Mine is a plain white gold band that I am told is kinda wide for someone who doesn't typically wear rings (by the salesperson).
PROTIP: Got our bands on Black Friday for 50% off
Base topics I thought about: Bakery Venues (sitdowns, things to look for, prices) DJ/Music Overall support( stress levels of bride, when to intervene) Officiants Helping out with planning
Any other suggestions leave in the comments.
