I’m high as shit, listening to Madvillainy and Accordion came on, and even though this has always been one of my favorite MF DOOM songs it finally clicked with me arguably one of the greatest rap songs is him rapping over an accordion. This is without a doubt the best produced album of all time. Curls beat is mind boggling.

Yasiin Bey (FKA Mos Def) is coming to Auckland NZ in June to perform his DOOM tribute show, I wanted to know from those who have been to the shows so far if it is good and/or worth it in your opinion?

I'm very tempted to go bc it's not often artists like him come to NZ, and the ticket price isn't too steep but it's just paying for flights and accommodation would be more expensive cause I live further down the country.

But it is the closest I'll ever get to seeing DOOM live unfortunately so it could be worth it, plus Yasiin Bey is an amazing artist although I'm not sure how much of his classic Mos Def stuff he would perform.

I already have a mask, and I'd love a figurine! I can pay a bit, just not a lot unfortunately... Only one I found was $30, which is a fair amount of cash in my country. Any tips would be appreciated! I'd be happy with a Dr DOOM figurine too.
