Moving here in 2 months. I’d be taking it at 7am to GCT and around 630-7pm on the way back. Getting on at Vernon Blvd so it’s only one stop but just want to know what I’m getting myself into.. in other cities I’ve lived sometimes the trains get so full that people in the last few stops can’t get on.
Hi! We live on center boulevard in 1BR, Looking for a cleaning person who can come every 10 days/2 weeks Any recommendation? Budget $120 max Thank you!
Lookin for someone local that can paint windows similar to the photo attached for a local business!
Are there any bakeries in LIC where I can reliably get a good loaf of sourdough during the week? I'm in Astoria and the handful of decent bakeries only have them available on the weekends, and I'm tired of being stressed over getting a damn load of bread. Willing to hop on a bus to avoid this nonsense.
Had anyone seen that Christmas pop-up right next to Han Dynasty? I’ve been trying to find it online for tickets, but the guy outside said you can buy some inside. Just wondering if it’s worth it. Has anyone been yet? It just opened this weekend.
Any recommendations for photographers in the neighborhood offering mini sessions or that could shoot a few family pictures. I’m hoping to send out holiday cards this year and my iPhone photography skills are lacking 😂 . TYIA!
What it says on the tin. Looking for things to do that’s more laid back than high energy.
Hello! Looking for a nail salon in LIC that does builder gel manicures. Preferably near Vernon/ Jackson/ hunters point area! Thanks!
There’s a clearance sale @ 41st Ave and 27th Street, where I got this rattan side table for $20 yesterday
Other than furniture pieces, there were also stacks of leather notebooks, notepads, manila envelopes, etc
Current owners are really sweet, and they’re basically trying to get rid of everything before the new owner takes over the building this weekend
Have fun with the finds
Radio bakery is closed 🥺🥺… and hell to the No to sbux. Does anyone know if coffee project is open tomorrow?

Not sure about canelle.
Hi! I'm traveling up to Astoria/LIC, Queens, and I'm planning on grabbing lunch with my cousin. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for vegan friendly restaurants in the Astoria/LIC area that are not necessarily vegan. I think some cuisines I prefer are Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Laotian, and Italian, but I'm open to others! Any input regarding this would be much appreciated! Thanks so much!
Does anyone know any Chinese restaurants that delivers egg rolls in Long Island city?
so I work for a small local business and we had a bit of a rough year financially but I still want to put together a fun holiday party for our amazing team. what's an affordable (under $1000) option in the neighborhood for 20 or so people to have dinner and drinks? trying to think of a cute, modest space where we could maybe even bring in our own food and/or drinks.
p.s. before someone thinks they're smart with "people would rather have money" believe me, I already know, and if I were in charge of that decision I wouldn't even have made this post 🙃
Hey does anyone know a experienced and affordable place that knows how to tailor jeans?

Hi all. Deciding between which insurance plan for 2024.
Deciding between HF bronze premier and Ambetter with Fidelis bronze. Anyone have experience with these two?
I just wanted to give a small shout out to gantry home and hardware by court square station. I’ve been here a few times for random things ranging from looking for a niche sized battery, to getting keys copied, to looking grabbing some drano for my sink. Every time I’ve been there service has been amazing and the clerks are always very friendly. When I bought a battery and wasn’t sure about the size the clerk told me that if it didn’t fit my appliance I should bring it back and he would refund me.
With the new Target nearby the hardware store has been a bit quiet so I just wanted to shout them out here, and encourage people to support their business!
